i looked around for a while for a hose cart undecided which one to get, but glad i went for this. its easy to put together and is very sturdy and the winding mechanism works very well and you don’t feel like its gonna break when winding it quickly. my only comment is the plastic hande that holds the connectors does not screw in well and drops down as the screws could be longer to bite into the plastic
I’ve had this for a while now and its a joy to use. Its not broken or stopped working. I was originally considering the auto model and I now don’t think its needed. Although its not cheap, I think its worth the enjoyment I get when I use it, it makes retracting the hose easy and hassle free.
It also detaches from the brackets on the wall, so it easy to bring indoor during the winter.
Got fed up of using expandable hoses that deteriorate and fail after a few years, other hoses just do not last, don’t t roll up properly and you have to drag them around. This is easy to move around and does not tangle when winding the hose as it has a feature that guides the hoses side to side

Bought this to replace the automatic rewind one we had. It is simpler and more reliable. Well pleased with it.

A little pricey but great hose pipe. I have this one and the one with the auto-rewind function which is pricier still. The winding up can be a bit of a pain but overall a great hose. Installation is pretty simple. As with most hoses, it is prone to ‘kinks’. Feels pretty sturdy.

Excellent product. I changed the sprayer because it was to basic for my needs.
Keeps a long hose tangle free and neat in the garden until you want it. Lovely length so when pulled out I can wash the car at the front of the house whilst the reel is in the back garden. Handle is easy the use to reel the whole hose back in leaving no annoying kinks for next time. Wheels are also great for when you have to move the reel around. Very sturdy and well made item
This is a great hose. Stretches to where I want it and I would buy it again.

I have resin patio which scaged my stretch hose. This hozelock is great and no problem across the patio.

The Fast Cart is perfectly named, as it makes using the garden hose a breeze. With this model, you can say goodbye to all those years of battling with a loose garden hose. The Fast Cart reels the hose back in quickly, and also has a mechanical roller, linked to the rewind handle, that moves back and forth, to feed the hose back in to the cassette neatly.
This is installed on the back of my house but goes all the way round to the front so we water the flower pots there.
It’s easy enough to unwind (and rewind) with the included hose guide. Water pressure doesn’t seem unduly affected by all that hose either.
We drain the hose by letting it run out for a minute or so after winding it back onto the reel, to relieve the pressure, especially important during winter months when it will probably freeze solid anyway.
So far so good. Very sturdy and easy to unwind and rewind. Quick to install.

Ideal hose for a large garden. Fixings worked well and seems secure on brick wall.
Product has been slightly updated in style and colour but otherwise excellent service.

Very easy to set up. Recommended for a large garden, but I find it very useful in my small garden. The reel stays put when I pull the hose up my alleyway, where the tap is, to the back of my garden, because it is heavy enough. (My previous reel used to fall over and drag). The hose doesn’t kink (so far) and the connectors don’t leak (so far)

Very good product. Easy to assemble. Wind unwind mechanism is smooth. Product does come with hose guide even though it implies it doesnt.

Great bit of kit. Took about 10 minutes to get set up. Comes with everything you need. Great quality as you would expect from Hose lock.

This hose has a manual rewind but it is very well designed and much easier than traditional hoses in that it doesn’t kink or get twisted up. There is some assembly required and this is quite fiddly so you will need to follow the instructions carefully (diagrams etc). It took me about 30 mins. I’d recommend buying a spray gun as it only comes with the standard one.
I’ve had one before and find them very good compared to others it may be little more experience but you get good quality I found it very easy to put up
This hosepipe system looks sturdy and when tested was straightforward to wind in and out.

Just what I needed a hose that is long enough, but most importantly rolls up very easily and is a pleassure to use.
Better than just using a hose. Sometimes it gets jammed but with the removal of a few screws you can take it apart for sorting out the problem.

Our rear garden heads about 30 metres up a slope of about 40% and traditional floor based hoses have been a nightmare. Because this is fixed to our rear wall near the tap, pulling it out from a number of metres away is easy with no risk of toppling or pulling on the tap connection and winding it back in is also quite easy.
I looked at so many of these, and this wasnt the most expensive at the time.
I bought this to replace an older unit, that my parents use.
As this is pretty much self contained, we needed something less fussy and this fits the bill.
It is a soo easy to reel in and when you pull the hose its on a racthet.

This is heavy to lift and effort is required to wind the hose back in, but it seems to work well overall.
The hose arrived without the connector pipe advertised on Amazon and and the box itself, as others have reported. A quick email to Hozelock customer services resulted in no response, but a replacement connector pipe arrived by post 2 days later.

Has kinked on a few occasions. Not suitable for the elderly when reeling in is abit tough and pulling out.
Easy to assemble. Comes with few parts which go together easily. Good durable hose solid on the wall when mounted.
Good quality and value for money. I t was easy to assemble. The item was delivered within few days.
After 15 years of constantly using the foreunner to this device which, only through wear and tear over a long period, needed to be replaced. As the longevity was so impressive, we bought the same model albeit updated which not only looks good, but was easy and quick to install using exactly the same replacement wall drillings. I would thoroughly recommend this product which hopefully will last another 15 years.

It has taken a lot of abuse, been dropped out of the van many times, subjected to corrosive bleach, pulled out and reeled in 700+ times and still keeps working. The hose hasn’t shown any signs of wear , kinked or snagged in the reeling mechanism.

Really impressed with this, had it for almost a year and it still works and looks good.
The hose is good quality, it does kink occasionally but not badly.
The reel does make a difference and is so easy to use.

Used a few times now. Well made. Works well. Hose is smaller diameter than previous hose, but very flexible. I suspect the position of the hose guide is important to ensure smooth winding in. 40m length is ideal. Nothing adverse to report.

Practical garden unit, easy to install albeit you have to drill into your brickwork to secure the mounting bracket. Once your bracket is secure just place the hose unit on it. It is easy to remove during the winter for safe keeping, This is the second unit purchased over the years, recommended.

Attached mine to a wall and it makes life so much easier. Previously had a reel on wheels which always toppled over when winding the hose in. It’s a fast reel in the truest sense, takes seconds to pull out or reel in, hasn’t kinked ever as I ensure I wind in a straight hose and not when it’s coiled up on the lawn. Make sure you do not turn on the water tap before pulling out as much as you need. The water pressure makes it more difficult.
