Shoe sizes are not standardized. Every shoe manufacturer uses different measurements in terms of instep height, toe shape and foot width. However, the basis for your own shoe size is always the length of your feet. Thus, you should always determine your foot length before buying in order to choose the right shoe.

Very comfortable shoes; true to size. My bare foot measures exactly 11″ and I bought the size 11 (45 eur) and they fix great with light weight wool ankle socks; bare foot even feels great.
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. And I walk no fewer than 10 miles every single day. That might be a factor in how quickly I wore a hole in the sole of these – they lasted barely 4 months before the ball on the right shoe broke through. For the price, I wish the sole was made of stronger stuff. Still – if you don’t walk a crazy amount like me, these are fantastic shoes. I especially like how the sole wraps up around the toes – very nice for the many times I stub my toes!
The wear shown in the attached photos is after almost daily use since late March 2020. I bike to/from work most days (about 2.5 miles total per day). I replaced the default laces with stretchy ones to make the shoes easier to slip on. Shoes have been quite comfortable throughout. I’ve gone on a handful of hikes with them, and I can’t really recommend hiking in particularly rocky terrain due to the lightweight-ness of the shoe and how thin the soles are. Mountainous terrain in southern AZ left my feet feeling pretty rough afterwards. However I hiked a bit in Olympic National Park and they performed just fine for that particular terrain.
Treads are starting to wear a bit near the heel and ball of my feet. The treads held up longer than I expected them to, but perhaps not as long as I would have liked for paying just upwards of $100 for a sneaker-type shoe. They also started squeaking a bit more on tile floors in the last few months, possibly due to the treads wearing?
The leather (above the toes mostly) started to warp maybe half a year or more ago, hasn’t affected the fit really, but doesn’t look as nice as they did at the start obviously. I haven’t polished or cared for the leather in any way other than wiping them clean once in a while with a damp rag and drying afterwards, so proper care could possibly extend their longevity and keep their shape/appearance.
These are almost more of a glove for your feet, so if you do parkour or some kind of outdoor gymnastics, urban ninja work, or stalking in the woods, you may appreciate the amount of grip you have on wherever you’re stepping.

Man sprt die Schuhe kaum an den Fen. Passen perfekt und sind bequem.
I have been wearing the Vapor Glove for a few years now. They are excellent minimalist shoes, but the regular sneaker version are not ideal for more dressy occasions. When I discovered the Luna model with the suede uppers, I was very happy. They have the comfort and minimalist feel I like but are a little more dressy.
I have worn the sneaker version of these for years, and only recently discovered the Luna 3 model with suede. They are as comfortable as the sneakers, but much nicer looking. Great shoes! I have the olive ones as well as these (navy) and both look great but the navy (more of a dark gray-blue than navy) are my preferred color.
These shoes look very nice. They are comfortable to walk in, there’s enough room for the toes. The only problem is the size: No half sizes.
I wanted a minimalist shoe that I could walk around in. These are great. I normally wear a US size 11, and per the advice from other reviews I ordered a size US 10.5, and the fit is absolutely perfect. There isn’t much in the way of arch support, but I slipped in a Dr. Schol’s arch support insert and I am good to go!

Good for walking, running in the nature or for city trips, perfect, use from the autumn to spring, a bit too hot for the summer.
The shoe is absolutely a game changer for myself. I love the lack of support that forces me to run on the balls of my feet rather than the heel.
I’d highly advise taking shorter, easier runs when first starting out to not cause shin splints and blisters.
Though, once you break them in I guarantee you wouldn’t want to go back to a standard running shoe

These are great! Very grippy, I got them as approach shoes but now I wear them as everyday sneakers. These provide a good mix of protection and responsiveness to uneven terrain.

*UPDATE*….. I returned the 11.5,which was a half size down, and got the 12. The 12 fits perfectly. However, Im not sure if people wear socks with these shoes so that might make the difference… I intend on using socks. Without them, the 11.5s would have been like a glove.

I followed everyone’s advice and ordered half a size down but had to return for my regular size. The 11.5 had my toes touchibg the toe box, so the 12 I have coming will fit perfectly.
I bought these after switching to barefoot running shoes. They’re comfortable, light, and even somewhat stylish. They have the same minimalist sole as a barefoot running shoe–enough to keep your feet from getting cut or chafed by the ground, but not enough to protect from bruises due to rocks or roots.
The only drawback I’ve noticed thus far is that they don’t breathe very well, so they smell a bit ripe at the end of a summer day.
Finalmente una scarpa che ha una forma della punta come piace a me, e che segue la forma naturale del mio piede, senza comprimere o premere lateralmente le mie dita. Il mio alluce ed il quinto dito sono comodi con queste scarpe. Mi piacerebbe trovare altri modelli che abbiano questa forma a mio avviso corretta, ma purtroppo sono una rarita’.
I have a pair of vape 4’s in 47’s and got these in 48 to have more room for socks. Great fit. I like the vapor 3 soles which are very grippy but am not sure how long they’re gonna be available

Bisher hatte ich immer das Problem dass der Stoff an der Seite nach einem Jahr kaput war. Mit dem Leder kann das nicht passieren.
Wenn das Leder weich wird, passen sie wie angegossen und das beste die Fe bleiben auch mal bei leichtem Regen trocken.
Ich suchte nach einen guten und nicht gleich als Barfussschuh sichtbaren Model. Ich trage diesen Schuh jetzt schon eine weile und bin sehr zufrieden.
Sehr gut kleine Probleme mit der Sohle aber wurde ohne fragen ersetz

Just needs ventilation, haven’t been wearing shoes often during quarantine and my poor feet start sweating as soon as I put these on, may not be a fault of the shoes, just my only complaint.

I am a size 11 in most shoes. The size 10 for these fits me well. Truthfully this show seems well made, very light.
I hope the quality is going to hold up. I have always enjoyed years of service from Merrells and if these shoes wear out fast I will update.
I am BIG into barefoot walking as shoes are just crippling for movement of your feet. Thee limited activity eventually causes atrophy for your muscles, and as the whole body is connected, it also causes back pain. These shoes help me feel the ground and work more of my whole body. They are also good looking enough to wear in every situation. Barefoot is still my preferred way to go, if I need to wear shoes, these are the ones I grab.

Der Schuh ist optisch sehr schn. Ich musste ihn jedoch noch einmal 2 Nummern grer als die eigentliche Schuhgre neu bestellen da er klein ausfllt. Allerdings war das mit der Rcksendung sowie der Geldrckerstattung auch super einfach und hat sehr gut geklappt. Auch die neu bestellten Schuhe waren super schnell da. Also absolut zu empfehlen.
Cmodas y ligeras. No las he probado para correr o gym, pero para el da a da son una maravilla. Eso si, al principio te tienes que acostumbrar al barefoot si es tu primera vez!

I own the vapor glove 3 cotton, vapor glove 4, and this pair of vapor glove lunas. These shoes fit my feet extremely well. I have moderately narrow feet, but I like having a wide toe box like these shoes have to allow my toes to spread out. If you’re looking for a zero-drop shoe that doesn’t make you look like you’re wearing weird toe-shoes, these are the perfect choice.

I’ve been wearing a pair of these off and on for about 18 months now. I wear them at work, occasional runs, etc. They’ve held up well. The sole has worn slowly, no holes yet, and it is still attached to the leather! No holes in the leather! If they wear out, I’d strongly consider buying another pair.
I was looking for a good looking barefoot shoe for everyday use. They are exactly what I was hoping for. Comfortable, handsome (dusty olive color scheme), wide toe box, flexible zero-drop sole. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Only thing that stands to question is durability, as I’ve only had them for a week.

Love these minimalist shoes. Very comfortable. They have an excellent sole that provides the right balance of just enough padding while still being barefoot like for walking. Completely eliminated foot, knee, hip, back pain I get from regular shoes. Can be chilly if it’s cold out though! Exactly what I wanted.

Ever since New Balance stopped making its leather Minimus trail shoes, I’ve been in a panic. Merrell’s Vapor Glove 3 Luna sneakers fill that void in my life in a big way. I’m very pleased with the solid construction, fit, and visual aesthetics of this product. I’ll be purchasing a few extra pair.

Unfortunately these fit me a little too narrow through the mid-foot and as a result had a odd bunching of the material in that area. This caused the shoe to rub my foot and caused a blister in short order.
I really liked how light they were, and liked just about everything else about the shoes, but they just don’t fit my feet properly. I tried adjusting the lacing several times to no avail.
Product is wonderful. Fits well, and looks good. Good for barefoot feel as well as with socks.
Word of caution, measure your feet and convert to centimeters to find the best fit. Typically, I am a size 11, but have narrow feet. Therefore, 10s were perfect since the toe box is larger.
Der Schuh passt wie erwartet, ist scho mein 3 von diesem Modell. Die Leder Variante ist etwas fester als die anderen aber dafr auch stabiler. Die Vibram Sohlen sind der Hammer, sehr Guter Gripp auch bei Nsse.
Bare foot suffisamment discrtes pour tre portes tous les jours. Cependant petit dfaut de fabrication sur les miennes au niveau de la jonction de la semelle sur le cuir avant. Rien de grave, mais voil pourquoi je ne met pas 5 toiles.
Llevo usando merrell mas de cinco aos. Estas son como su propio nombre indica, un guante. Muy cmodas para el uso diario. Vi comentarios con respecto a qu tallaba distinto a otras merrell pero a mi me quedan perfectas con el mismo nmero de siempre.

Absolutely love these merell shoes. I have three pair of the vapor glove 3s and now these for everyday wear. I’m a true size14 and these are a perfect fit. Toe box is still roomy as hell on these which is why some folks may think they run large. Super comfortable, like all VGs, with more protection and a little more dressy or office acceptable than the mesh. Great leather and good looking.
Might be somewhat snug if you are used to having thick socks or really wide feet. I have a wider than average foot and they fit well for me.
Have not had long enough to review durability I’m guessing the leather will take more abuse than the standard. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn so smooth inside no seams. They grip the ground really well and the heel is great for driving.
Wide toe box and super light weight, these shoes do not get in the way of your feet working as they were meant to!

I add High quality arch supports to most my shoes, including all of my Merrell’s. For me it makes them fit beautifully and feel perfect.
After 4 years with Merrell Trail Glove 3’s and a 4, I am a refugee of the Trail Glove 4 to 5 debacle. But, I love these. They take me back to fond memories — and the slightly different muscles — of when I thought I could afford Vivobarefoot products. The only drawback is that they look almost too good to run in. I took the advice to go .5 size smaller and a 12 fits my nearly 12.5 right foot perfectly.
I’ve ripped the toebox of a Vapor Glove 2 and (2) Vapor Glove 3’s because they’re not durable enough. The leather/suede construction seems to help this issue, but I haven’t worn them very long.
Still the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned.
Olive color is presentable for casual occasions and business meetings, so you can be comfy without looking too “sporty” or flashy with the bright cloth versions.
These are probably more water resistant than the cloth versions, but they also trap sweat more as well.
Couldn’t go without a pair, hope they last much longer than the cloth versions, in which case they’d be perfect for me and well worth the extra price.
This a a MENS shoe! If you like the regular Vapor Glove, you’ll love this! Fit is a tiny bit narrower; laces are cotton vs nylon. Nice enough to wear with business casual. I bought another pair after trying them out!
These are my first pair of minimalist style shoes and they are awesome. Style and comfort for everyday type stuff is an A+.
If your looking for a running shoe I wouldn’t buy these. They have zero cushon so probably not good for that.

I’ve been getting the vapor glove 2s for a while, glad to see something that isn’t mesh with a funny design. Very sturdy!
These shoes deserve 5 stars, despite the fact, that I got strong issue with plantar fasciitis and thin arch soft insole has to be added. The shoe fits my 4e width and no allergy to manufacturing. No complains.

Scarpe minimali fantastiche! Leggerissime e comodissime, sembra di stare scalzi. La suola sottile e trasmette tutte le sensazioni dal suolo, ma comunque di qualit essendo Vibram. Ottimo il grip sull’asciutto come sul bagnato. Resistono a qualche goccia di pioggia ma non le indosserei durante un acquazzone, perch sono davvero molto basse. Comunque davvero fantastiche, soldi ben spesi!
I love this shoe. For those with feet and ankles prepared for the minimalist barefoot experience, this is a terrific and very comfortable shoe. Really. But, for me, I had to reorder it 3 times until I received the correct fit. It turned out to be 1 entire size smaller than my Vapor Glove 2’s and older 3’s.
I have had the road glove, trail glove and the vapor glove. This luna vapor glove shoe fits exactly like the vapor glove. The upper is comfortable and flexible. Time will tell if this shoe is durable.
It looks much suited for regular day to day use which I was using my original vapors for day to day use.
These are slightly larger than I was expecting, i wear a 12 in almost everything and these ended up just about a half size too big. They got well enough for my purposes, but that was slightly disappointing.
My only issue is the sizing. These shoes are definitely oversized by 0.5 a size. I’ll admit that I wear either a 9.5 or 10 depending on the shoe, but my default size is 10 for athletic shoes. In the case of these shoes, I had to order a 9.5 because the 10 was too big.
All in all, highly recommended but go a half size smaller for the right fit.
