Really effective
Due to the nature of my job, I’m sat at a desk all day which means I suffer from a lot of upper back pain. This cushion is brilliant at easing the tension in my back. It is really easy to use, and the fact it fits perfectly on my office chair allows me to use it for the recommended 15mins 3x daily whilst I’m working!
An absolute brilliant massage cushio
This particular product is ideal for back pain and also gentle pain relief. The heat button is also very useful. You can actually feel the vibrating balls as you sit on the cushion. A plus factor is having the remote and selecting which area of the back you want to focus the massage on. I am pleased with this device.

I’m fairly tall at 6″2 and wasn’t sure if this massager would work for me but it’s actually perfect. I also tried the HoMedics Max 2 before I got this, and the Snailax is doing a much better job than HoMedics of really getting into my lower back, and also I’d strongly recommend the Snailax’s style of massage ball (each rotating pair has one large and one small) over alternative designs that have two equally sized balls – gives a much more effective Shiatsu.
Due to my height I find the top section of the massager gets only my lower neck (on its highest position setting) and to be honest isn’t that effective there, so I usually adjust it (via the remote) to its lowest position where it does a great job on my upper shoulders.
Compared to other massagers I’ve tried this one is probably slightly less noisy, and especially if you’re using the back part and not enabling the neck part (which of course is close to the ears!) I can use it while watching TV.

Very quie
Having had back problems for many years now I have been using back massagers for several years. My previous one was well worn so I purchased this new one. The first thing that struck me was how quiet it was. The remote is well set out and easy to use. The additional cushion for the back helps to reduce the pressure from the rotary heated balls on the back which can be quite physical. You can choose massage for the seat area which I found helped with pain around the hips. It has a lengthy power lead which is important if you do not have a socket nearby and it is quite light to carry. I have found these type of massagers to help provide some relief for my back pain. I cannot yet comment about it’s durability but at the moment I am very satisfied.
Not bad for a mechanical massage
It’s okay, reasonably enjoyable and does relieve stresses and strains but it is not as relaxing as I hoped. I bought one for me and one for my mum. It has helped my husbands back which is good. I wish I had bought the one which does your upper neck as well as I think that would have made it more effective for me personally. Overall it is probably what you would expect from a mechanical massage & does give a deep, penetrating massage.

Good product, works the entire back. I’m 6ft and found it wasn’t reaching the very top of my back but this can be adjusted if ur seat is big enough
deep massage, set up is critical
It really works the muscles and you know about it but take some time with set up. You need a high back chair, fixed at the right height, we used cushions to adjust and then the massage is deep a nd rewarding and sometimes a bit painful but the after effect is what it should be.
A-MAZ-ING!
We love this!! I bought this for my partner as a gift at Christmas and it has been brilliant. The settings are great as you can choose between where you want it to focus on (top or bottom of the back). Or if you just want a general massage it can do the whole back. The vibrating section is only in the part you sit on, vibrating under the thighs.
The heat is just right, it isn’t so warm that you notice it straight away – but when you’ve been sat there for a while you realise there’s a considerable amount of heat in the chair and it’s lovely.
I use the chair on and off throughout each weekday whilst working from home. After a week of small daily uses I found knots and stiffness in my back were easing.
I do wish it could work on more sections at once as there are only 2 balls that work their way up and down the back in circular motions, one on the left and one on the right.
However, overall it is fantastic and we may have to buy a second one so we can each have one in our office.

This massager is life changing for me. I have been studying my Masters and spending a lot of time sitting, which caused me a bad back and neck pain. So bad that I was struggling to sleep at night. I can’t praise enough this product as it helped me with my pain. Everything works perfect just as described. Would definitely highly recommend it!

Me and my partner both suffer with Back pain and using this just twice we have both felt the difference. Remote control is good,clear and easy to use. Comfort I have given this a 3 as I am 5 ft 3″ and I feel as if the neck rollers just don’t reach comfortably even after using the lowest setting and sitting on cushions. My partner is a lot taller then me so he doesn’t have this problem and has said he feels a good benefit from the neck massagers.

Snailax functions are great, but the kneading motions can be a little harsh. However it does what it says. I would recommend having a level for kneading function so it can be adjusted to ones need.
Perfect massage
What an amazing product. Once we found a chair that it would fit (we use a low arm chair) and we could sit comfortably, the massager is fabulous. My partner and both use it. It arrived quickly, well packaged, and very easy to assembly. The remote control has various options and is so easy to use and there is a little pocket for safe keeping. I would highly recommend this item. I read some reviews about the neck massager being too high but once the correct chair is found, it massages the neck perfectly. I’m only 5′ 4″ and fit perfectly into all moving parts of the massager. Really comfortable and gives an excellent massage. Worth the money. We are getting so much from this massager.
Brilliant massage cushio
I do not dislike anything about it, the cushion is brilliant! I’ve suffered from lower back pain and spasmed upper back muscles for 30 years since a whiplash accident and am taking very strong pain killers, or rather I was! This cushion has relieved 95% of the pain in my back and relaxed all the upper back muscles. Normally I feel as though I’m walking about with my shoulders scrunched up by my ears, that’s how spasmed and tense my muscles were. No longer, I feel great! Can’t praise this cushion enough. Well done! One very happy customer!

Came well packaged and basically once out the box was ready to use , ideal for me as I have a heavy lifting driving job so at the end of the day 15 minutes using the massage , vibrate and heat settings I’m ready for a restful sleep , I was concerned that it wouldn’t be as good as the massage chairs you can use in various nail bars , hairdressers but I can assure you that it’s just as good if not better ! Because your in the comfort of your own home , I tend to use my foot spa with it at same time . The remote control ( wired ) is very simple to use and on the whole the massager is of sturdy construction.. very pleased with my purchase
Great Customer Service
The outer packaging was top notch and gave me the impression I am getting a quality product and I was not let down either as I have had other’s in the past and this looks well made and has an easy to use remote controller.
The massage and heat facility works well just a little hard at first on my back and as mentioned can use the supplied cushioning and advised a towel can help.
The relief given from first use has been very good with clear instructions.
Certainly feel I have an excellent product that I place on my recliner chair but do take it away when not in use and have placed it in it’s original box it was supplied in at the back wall of my lounge, will try to look around for a carry bag with handle so I can unzip it out whenever I need it.
Overall a superb product well priced and a 2 year warranty- what else do I want.
Wow, just wow, this back massager is brillia
I received the Snailax Back Massager as a present, and I can honestly say that it is THE best present I have ever received. I am absolutely delighted with it. It does exactly what it says it does. I would normally be having regular acupuncture sessions, and as part of that treatment after the acupuncture I have a Chinese back massage. Unfortunately during lockdown, I have not been able to have my normal treatment, so this has been an absolute life saver. It gives almost the same type of massage that I would receive at my treatment sessions. Please don’t think this this is going to be some sort of light massage, that you cannot feel, because it is definitely not that, this is very firm and works its way deep into the muscles. Yes, I am a little sore the following day, but that’s the point, its doing what it is supposed to do, to release the muscles and relieve the pain.
I really like the heat function, I find that its not too hot, it builds gradually to a pleasant heat, that for me, seems to help in relaxing the muscles.
The massager itself is very well build, and I think its exceptional value for the money. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it, and with the 24-month warranty you just can’t go wrong.
As close as I can get during the pandemic to getting a massage from a person!
I purchased this product to relieve stress and tension in my back and neck. So far it has been wonderful, providing a relaxing yet stimulating massage for these areas. The pressure is enough to work deep into the tissue without being uncomfortable and the range of functions for the back and neck massage are impressive. The remote is easy to understand and the whole unit feels strong and able to endure. A great price for this products set of features and I definitely recommend it for those who are looking to release tension and seek relaxation through the benefit of massage.
Good massage
Gives a nice deep massage, easy to setup. My only negative is that it doesn’t quite reach shoulders / neck area properly – because the massagers are a fixed distance apart and of course your neck / shoulder taper in.
Good value
This was a replacement for the other model which was misleadingly advertised as neck and back. This one has a very effective neck massager. I am at the top of the height range for the product and although it covers back and neck pretty well, it is not adjustable. The instructions say to put a cushion underneath you if you need to raise your neck, which is fine for shorter users but not for me at 1.78m-it means that you lose contact with the lower back if you want your neck to really sit in the most effective spot. The back massage is good and the shiatsu option is an excellent option for the gentler roller. Overall for the money it is very good and comes with a 2yrs warranty so you can use it to death (with a smile). Delivery on a Sunday and within 24 hrs.
Surprisingly powerful shiatsu massage
I purchased this predominantly for my wife, as had been having pain in shoulder. I wasn’t expecting much, having read reviews and the 2year warranty, the Snailax stood out as a good option.
It arrived in usual Prime timings, unboxed and plugged in with seconds. The remote was easy to use and has a multitude of options from vibrate (on the seated pad) to shiatsu massage up and down full back. The heated option is also good. I was surprised at how hard you can make it, using your own body weight to adjust the amount of pressure. No sign of straining from the motor. Very impressed.
There is a strap to attach to a chair. This is good, however, there isn’t a strap on the seated part, which seems like a missed opportunity, as the massager has the tendency to slip down the chair/seat you are using it on; in other words, a bit frustrating as ones own weight and/or the ‘slippiness’ of the fabric means you have to keep pushing it back into the seat/chair.- a solution being using a bungee cord/ your own strap to keep in place.
Other than that, whole family enjoying it and I’m looking to purchase one myself!
Excellent home massage
Best purchase to start Y2021 with. It came the next day and we weren’t expecting it for another 5 days, with excellent packaging. Lovely surprise. Good quality material, you know it will last the test of time and daily use. Easy to use, not heavy to lift and has long power cables. Works excellent on our sofa and office chair. Strong shiatsu and rolling massages, perfect for the neck, shoulder and back aches after a long day in front of the computer. I’m 5’3″ and my partner 5’11”. We like how the rollers’ height is adjustable to suit our heights and you can focus on pressure points with the remote. The heating on the neck and back rollers really helps relaxing the muscles. The seat vibration works really well too. 15mins of absolute bliss and you can chose a 5 or 10mins option with a click of the button. I’m a little OCD, so glad that I can remove the head piece and back padding for wash. The manufacturer have obviously given the features a lot of thought. Times when spas are closed, this is my definite must have and I’m glad I got it. Excellent value for money and I’d definitely recommend it for buying.

I use it on my work chair it was easy to fit and use and now makes me sit straight and not slouch which is a bonus!! It’s really good for taking the stress away and I would definitely recommend it!
Well designed back massage pad
With the current pandemic at its height I needed a quick fix to my lower back pain that I suffer from time time. Amazon Prime was an obvious choice to get a fast delievery (Next day in this case). The reviews were positive so I took the plunge! I am pleased that I did as it gave relief within five minutes of opening the box. The Pad is easy to set up with the remote control and electrical feed stored in a pouch attached to the base of seat. Once plugged in the remote control is intuitive and easy to understand. I particularly like th e”spot” but which allowed a targeted massage on the most painful part of my back – it did find it uncomfortable without the extra seat pad attached to the chair (it is optional on whether you use it). I have only used it for the first time today but on first impressions the service, speed of delivery and ease of use make this a good buy in my opinion.
A lifesave
This was a desperate impulse buy following weeks of back pain that made me dread every working day due to being hunched over a laptop for hours on end. The relief, when it arrived, was instant. It’s really easy to set up and operate. My back pain was massaged away over the course of a week or so. I’ve used it two or three times a week since and my back problems have vanished completely.

I bought this for my partner for Christmas, what a fantastic buy, she has had back problems and migrane, she loves that you had lots of settings to choose from on the remote and finds it comfortable to sit on and she can have a massage whenever she likes now which really helps her back and relievesher migrane. A deep massage system
Very pleased with the product
Currently use the full body massage but i have played with all the features on the remote controls and find them very useful, especially the Spot function, which can be used at any time of the massage and then when turned off goes back to the original setting
Depending on your massage requirements, this feels quite deep and could be uncomfortable for some areas of the upper body, for me personally i find it soothing as i prefer a deeper massage, so suits my requirement’s perfectly.
My partner tried it and she found the upper body area too uncomfortable but the lower body and spot function really hit the spot!

Good chai
I suffer with fibromyalgia and I brought this chair to help with the pain, even though it helps ease the pain I find i have to use it at night as I feel very tired after using it but it is an amazing chair the heat and rolling massage is great I find the neck massager can be a pain as I’d like it to be more on my shoulders instead of my neck, the shiatsu massage can be quite tough so only use this sometimes, as for the seat the fact it vibrates does nothing but over all good for money does what it says and helps ease aches and pains x
Never thought I would say this but...Amazing!!!
I’ve had a bad back (lower and mid) for a number of years now due to injuries from high level sports, which have resulted in all kinds of muscular imbalances. To maintain freedom of movement I follow a daily stretching/fitness programme which is backed up with frequent visists for sports massage.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic I have been extra cautious and have not been for sports massage treatment for a number of months and, although continuing with stretching/fitness, I started to notice a deterioration in my freedom of movement.
I have always been a little sceptical of mechanical devises but in desparation I research which are the best products out there and decided to give the Snailax shiatsu back massager a go.
I have to say…whow!
After only one session I felt instant relief and an almost immediate improvement in my range of movement, which in turn allows me work a little harder on the fitness/stretching side. I am now using the device 3 times a day and I feel great. With the UK currently in lockdown these 15 minute sessions of relaxation also helps with my mental wellbeing.
Now, I will never suggest that a mechanical device can replace a sports massage given by a professional, but I can strongly recommend the Snailax shiatsu back massager for anyone who has muscular aches or need to find some way of relaxing/de-stressing.
Go ahed, buy one and enjoy a bit of ‘me time’.

It’s my first massager of this type so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I enjoy it a lot. Helped me loosen up painful knots which didn’t want to go away for over a month before. It’s comfortable, the two massaging circles which go up and down around the spine are firm but not too painful. I like the seat vibration option too. Unfortunately, the back matt doesn’t cover my entire spine and I’m not very tall (5’46). This is workable though, I do my first 15 minutes on the massager as is and then sit on some pillows to make it go lower or slide down to make it reach higher.
The heat option is nice, but it takes at least 20minutes of massage to heat up and do not expect a lot of heat. It definitely helps loosen muscles up though during a long massage. The remote is easy to use, however it gives you only 5,10 and 15minute timer and it goes on automatically to full back when you switch it on rather that allowing you to choose your option. You need to change it while it’s already working. It’s not really a problem though, I turn it on, then change to options I want and after 15min when it goes off I do this again.
I suffer for back pains brought by poor posture and long hours of daily desk work. I use back brace in front of my desk through the day and use this massager after work and this seems to help greatly. I would recommend the product to anyone who struggles with stiff back muscles and pain. It helps and the price seems reasonable for what it is.
Better than we expected .
I bought this for my wife and we are both really pleased , she suffers from back pain and almost straight away the massage seemed to give her some pain relief , the mechanism inside massages the whole length of the back and with the heat on you really don’t want to stop it , we have used it on the sofa and found it very comfortable , the remote control is easy to use and if there is one particular area you need to concentrate on you can stop it at that point so it stays on that particular point , all in all a really good piece of kit .
I love everything about this product. Snailax started off well… super fast delivery just before Christmas which is always a good sign. The chair arrived well packaged and was a lot heavier and more sturdy than expected. The instructions were easy to follow and we were up and using it in minutes. I was amazed by the amount of options available.
There are two back modes: Shiatsu and Rolling with the options to do either full, lower or upper back and also a Spot option that lets you focus on a certain spot foras long as you like. This is really useful after a hard exercising session or if you feel a particular muscle tightening. You can increase the intensity of the chair from soft to really hard and effictive. It’s definitely not a toy or a gimmick.
There is also a neck section allowing you to focus on the neck, with controls allowing you to shift rotation up or down along with the intensity.
All the options are controlled by a timer and there is also a vibrating option. All of these options can be used all together, individually or you can mix and match. As I said I was amazed by the amount of options on offer. It is superb value for money and will save me a fortune at the physio.
Oh and I nearly forgot . It has a Heat option too meaning you can heat it up slowly as you adjust the intensity of your massage.

Great use for backpai
I would like to say that the product is great, easy and straightforward to use. This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my inlaws and they really enjoyed it. They mentioned that it really works for upper and lower back pain and they are very pleased with the results.
However, the somewhat downside is that the unit will only have to be installed on a solid chair or somewhat solid sitting sofa as it will not work properly if the sofa is soft.
Apart from that, it is a great product and makes a great purchase/gift for someone that has backpain.

My husband and I bought 2 of these chairs as a gift to our parents as they both suffer from back pain and I can’t describe in words how happy they were when they have opened their box and tried it.
I genuinely and honestly didn’t think there could be such a thing, this chair is like heaven of you suffer from back pain or get any muscles tension in your back. The full back massage is unbelievable, it feels like a human hand is giving you a massage. I 100% recommended this to anyone buying a gift or wanting to have their own private spa area in their home. It’s definitely worth it to the point that we are going to buy a third one for our self.
Powerful
Bought for my mum, it’s really good and the massage is really strong, the only reason for not awarding 5 for all is that for those with not mum body fat it can be painful as the lowest setting is still powerful, but still good!

Fantastic product that fits all sizes of people. I am 6’1″, my partner is 5’4″. We can both use it comfortably. The Shiatsu function feels fantastic just like a strong masseuse’s hands to relieve back and neck pain. You can use it on all sorts of chairs and sofas. We have a recliner sofa that complements the massager well.
The remote control is easy to use and you can select any combination of functions.
After a 15 minute session you feel rejuvenated.

A very happy custome
I bought this for my husband and I to use in the comfort of our home. The product is as described. Very good quality. Easy to to move around, very portable, and can be used on many types of seating. My height is 151cm and my husband’s is 185 cm and both of us fit on the massager nicely and both our necks and backs get to be massaged at the right spots and areas too. As for the strength of the massage, we left the flap on and didn’t use extra blankets and the strength is surprisingly good, not weak at all. For those that are not used to deep massages you may find it slightly sore without using extra layer to dampen the pressure. For us though, the pressure is perfect and we are liking it a lot. We definitely recommend this.
Nice but a bit tricky if you’re a petite perso
This has been a life saver in lockdown as I suffer with a bad back and being sat a lot hasn’t helped. My only niggle is I’m 5ft1 and the remote/setup doesn’t allow a great amount of wriggle room to get to hard to reach areas if you’re not an average height. For example the neck massager is too high for me. But I tend to use the full back setting and with the heat option it’s great.
Excellent produc
My dad suffers from chronic back pain which drove him into an early retirement few years ago. Last month I got him this masage chair and he has been using it daily, sometimes twice a day, ever since. After only few weeks of use, he claims that his pain has reduced significantly. Day by day he is becoming more active and he can now sleep through the night, something he could not do for years. Excellent product, would most definitely buy again.
good product for the price
It needs a cushion material as the rotational pads can be easily felt and without a towel to soften the feel the treatment can be overly harsh. Note, this is a recommendation with the unit. It would also benefit from a parking location at the base of the unit for the rotation pads.

Brilliant bit of kit. Very easy to set up and the instructions for the remote control are easy to understand as is the remote itself.
Comfortable to sit on when off and the functions are lovely when on. Just be prepared to lean forward a bit until you get used to it.
Advise making it ‘park’ in a Comfortable position when leaving your chair so as to avoid finding yourself encountering a knobbly surprise when you go back to sit down.

Well-designed massage chair, easy to use
A well-designed, easy to operate massage chair which I use every day to ease back and neck muscle tension. More functions and seems better made than the shiatsu chair I had previously, although only time will tell how long the product and fabric lasts. The vertical adjustment on the neck massager is a good idea although this section of the chair would benefit from being a bit further forward so the head doesn’t need to be tilted back so far. Not sure I get the point of the vibrating seat pad although it’s not unpleasant to use. In general I would recommend this product.
Very good massage chair!
I love this massage chair, i have painful back since after giving birth and this helps relieve my back pain. I use it 1 up to 3x a day, for 15 mins each use. The remote control is very easy to use. It hits the spots i want to be massaged.
I used to have the homedics and i thought would try this and so glad i did, this is way more better and the price is also very good compared to the homedics.

Massage while you work!
I was lent one of these Snailax Shiatsu massagers by a colleague to try out during my period of working from home through Covid. It was amazing! I opted for one of my own as a birthday present and regularly enjoy the tension relief it gives on my home office chair. One of the features I really like, is that you can set it to massage in a place where you need it, such as lower back with the option of heat too! Overall, it is a great product and once you have registered it, you get a 24 months replacement warranty.
It's worth the money.
I got this as a birthday present and I am very pleased with it. It takes time to get used to the massager rotating on the back and it can feel quite hard and uncomfortable. But once you get used to it , it feels lovely. The remote control is simple and straight forward to use.
Purchased this after returning the Snailax shiatsu back massager, as this has the added neck massager as well. Absolutely love it. Only reason I have not given 5 stars is because it doesn’t quite reach the top of the shoulders, unless you are short like me and you can shuffle down a little bit! Really helps with tension headaches and husband’s back/shoulder pain from sitting at a computer all day at work. Very relaxing, sit on the sofa with your feet up and enjoy 🙂
I love this and am so pleased I invested in it. I have something similar in my hairdresser…. VERY expensive seats in there and I honestly didn’t think this would be so good. It sort of is with a couple of caveats.
It seems well made and those rotating massage balls feel to me quite like a proper massage up and down the back!
It is quite intense. I ave had it a couple of days and think I may bruise myself!! …but the makers have thought of this and (a) they have put a cut off after 15 mins so if you doze off you’ll be fine 🙂 and (b) they have a sheet you can put down over it to reduce “intensity”.
So why 4 stars not 5. Well firstly, I hardly ever give 5 stars. Nothing is perfect, certainly nothing I do! The BACK bit is great with those rotating balls or however they do work the magic. But the bottom bit (if you look at the picture) that you sit on is not terribly comfortable and vibrates. I find that sensation a bit odd. Weird rather than nice. so I have literally folded my bottom section up behind the back section. This is fine, but less than ideal. Second thing, the intensity decreasing strip works reasonably well, but it is not wide enough. The slightest misalignment and you get the full force of the ball. If your seat is upright and you are wriggling against the balls it is fine without that sheet, but if you have a recliner and are essentially lying back you really need this protection and it will just push off to the side and leave you with full intensity.
In summary I definitely recommend it. Don’t want to be without it and think it was well worth the 80 or whatever I paid!
Neat seat, fits nicely into an armchair or desk chair, firm massage, easy to use.
We purchased the chair as my partner has back problems and I struggle with stiff muscles, so were looking for something to give pain relief. So far so good, the chair fits nicely into an armchair and my work desk chair and is comfortable to sit in. The massage is firm, especially if you move the padded cushion, you can always add a cushion for a less firm massage, but firm works well for us. The remote is simple to use and the spot function is great for concentrating on particular areas and the heat helps to ease the muscles. We’ve used it daily since it arrived and can feel the relief after a short session. Would recommend
What a Feeling!
I can only say that I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I have a “long back” and suffer from lower back pain regularly; often brought on simply by standing or walking slowly. The decision to buy this type of product was as a result of trying a massage chair in a shopping mall a few weeks ago. Needed something more suitable for use in my home, came across this on Amazon and bought it and a neck massager of the same Snailax product line as a special offer.
What can I say except WOW! The relief from lower back pain is amazing and the massage nodules get right down to the small of my back where most needed. The choice of heat, intensity levels and whether lower, upper or whole back massage cover all options as far as I’m concerned and I have no regrets what-so-ever in my purchase.
The length of massage is also adjustable. Perhaps starting with the shortest interval of 5 mins. would be advisable but it wasn’t long before I was using the full 15 min. option. Wish I’d bought this some time ago.
Snailax was very prompt about registering the two year warranty and guided me through the process.

Like it but pity the ‘full back’ massaging function doesnt go up to the shoulders area, only as far up as the lower shoulder blades. I’d thought it would do as I’m 5.2″.
I like the idea of the adjustable neck height function, it’d been a perfect overall massager if the back part also had an adjustable height as well.
Great for Rheumatoid Arthritis
I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and this product was just what I was looking for.
It fits really well on to my office chair, and the built in straps keep it firmly in place. The remote control allows selection of lower, upper or full back massage as well as toggling the heat feautre on and off. The heat is particularly good for aching muscles.
The product is well built and really good value for money. I would highly recommend it to you.

This was a birthday present off my husband, as I was missing my occasional professional massages due to Covid.
It’s wonderful! Really relaxing. I use it on my bed with my feet resting on the bed, and I put a pillow between me and the massager to ease the pressure a little bit (it’s designed to use on a chair with your feet on the floor, so it can feel a bit sharp with your legs elevated. The pillow takes the sharpness away).
I’m really pleased with it, and using it for 15 minutes before I go to sleep is a great way to wind down before bed. Five stars.
Convenient for when you have an ache or kno
This arrived super quick and I was in desperate need of a massage. I’d pulled my rhomboid muscle and in lockdown too! Easy to plug in, found a normal chair…you probably shouldn’t do this but I didn’t get off it for an hour and a half I just loved it! I’ve recently had my folks over for the week and my mum used it everyday. I don’t have “beauty massages” I have deep tissue and for me I found this really convenient and safe, I felt safe in it and that’s important too.
Brilliant for me
For someone like me who has back pain this is a very useful product. I have massages once every month to relief my back, but using this a few times a day is invaluable! I am a bit tall so it doesn’t cover the whole length of my back top to bottom, but with some practice I managed to do excellent work on both lower and upper part separately. I especially like the “spot” feature, where I can focus on problematic areas for as long as I want – very nice!
Was dubious but after a few massages was DEFINITELY IMPRESSED as was all of my Visitors who used it.
This gives you a PROPER MASSAGED FEELING, it is wise to place the provided mat over the babk and a towel for my lower back as the rollers are going to REALLY give you a deep rub as they scroll automatically up and down. You can press a button for deep heat or not and also use the SPOT button to concentrate the massage rollers on one specific part of your body like shoulders/ upper back or lower back. I have had three previous back operations and I really wish that I had bought this item years ago. And as a bonus they are sending me a neck pillow massaager which I’m looking forward to receiving soon.

I like the stylish remote, it is better than ones I have had before, the rotation of the neck part is great, & the double option heat feature is a nice touch, would have liked it to be able to be sized to fit, but it is OK for that mostly, overall very happy with it.
Great massage chair!
I always have a back pain due to my work and using this back/neck massage chair is very useful. Although, I think the heat does not really work as I cannot feel it. And for some reason the neck control does not work unless I press the heat button. But overall, it does its job and the best thing is I can hide it away if I don’t need it. It worth buying it!
I ordered this full massager for 2 reasons: 1) COVID meant I couldn’t get my usual monthly sports massage to release my back; 2) I’d used various electric massagers at airports and liked them.
Product arrived quickly and is easy to use. However, it broke down on the first day of use..! Absolutely relaxing and evens out pains and aches
I have had this product for only a short while, but ever since accident, I have had some serious muscle tightness in my back, knots and all. I have now spent plenty of time on this chair and it relaxes the muscles and i’m good to go for a while. It fits comfortably on the living room chair, remove control within reach and a good movie on. Absolutely recommend this chair. It does take a bit to adjust to the hardness of the massage balls, Shiatsu function is a bit like being at chiropractors, but these are things you get used to.
An absolute godsend during the lockdown age
Without the benefit of an office chair with proper back support, I had started to experience a lot of stiffness and discomfort from sitting in a dining room chair all day while working from home. This was a fantastic solution – the massage pad has really helped see off any back problems that were developing and all it takes is 15 minutes a day. It’s simple to use and the remote control that fastens into the side is intuitive and doesn’t get in the way.Love the vibrating chair and the heated massage pads as well.

I have only had this a few days and love it! I personally like a deep massage so do not use the “padded” cover. I use it on my office chair so am sat on it all day and yes, I agree with some reviewers it is not something that is terribly comfortable to sit on all day; the fact that it gets to the knots in my back fat outweighs that problem. It is easy to take off and on a chair, or like some have said, you could add a cushion. Also I have found if I push the back right down into the seat it’s gets to a better position for my lower back. Aah bliss! Also the more you push back onto it the better. It works for me so nothing to complain about. If there was one slight niggle is that I would have liked another band lower down to secure the back to the chair thus holding it in place better.. Otherwise I love it.
I love back massage and this is most relaxing.
I absolutely love this product, for the price it is a bargain. I have looked at massage chairs but the price of these are astronomical, if you want the next best thing, then this is it. It is easy to control, very user friendly and does the job. If anything, you may not be able to put your full weight on it but that is just my personal preference. Also their is a chance with a free gift, hope I’m a lucky one to receive one because the quality of the manufacture of it all is amazing and the extra massage pillow is a bonus, in fact I might even purchase one.
No post massage ache
I bought this for my partner and myself because we are always achy. I have tried other massage chair before, so far this is doing well for me. I especially love the head and neck massage. The vibrating seat im not quite sure yet how it helps. But i know that after using the siatsu function I did feel a bit better and relaxed. No post massage aches due to limited 15min session. This will make my self care a lot cheaper rather than paying a massage therapist to do it for me regularly. The remote control is easy enough to use. I would definitely recommend this product.
Bought this as I have been having increasing back, neck and shoulder pain and wanted to save my boyfriend’s poor fingers from giving me constant rubs! The functionality is very good; nice pressure, the heat is just right and the vibrating seat is just a bit of fun when sat at my desk working! The remote control is very clear and easy to use. I find it works best in my office desk chair, but also works on the sofa. My boyfriend works from home, and likes to start his day with it in his desk chair to get him relaxed and engaged for work.
I have found a work-around for my only complaint – I find the ‘upperback’ section is more like mid-back, and there is a bit of a gap between the back and neck sections. I work around this, if my upper back and shoulders are sore, by sitting up on my feet and adjusting the neck massager down as low as it will go I find that it then will massage my painful trapezius muscles, but I then obviously can’t have a neck massage at the same time.
Like many others have said, I wish you could have the neck massage on its own.
I still think it was well worth buying, and I had a very swift and friendly response from the customer service team when I emailed to activate my guarantee. Would recommend!

Packaging excellent, came quickly. Quality is good. A harder type, not soft. The seat vibrates – good. A point for those with allergies. The smell of chemicals was strong but did not last. Works as described, good massage. Rolling mode is very gentle, good for warming up/ relaxing. In the Kneading mode, the rolling balls maybe a bit too hard and strong for those sensitive. Especially on the head. There’s offered a pad to soften the pressure, which makes a difference. Remote is easy to manage. The back is heavy to move, much harder than in the models with nephritis balls, and they are bigger. If the base is soft and the back of the chair sofa is not high enough, difficult to position as falls over a bit. Use on hard sofas/ chairs, you will need those quite deep as the massager would naturally push you forward a bit. If positioned well, does the job and brings your back desired relief. There’s one zone – the upper back – that’s not covered in full as out of reach of the massage balls. For my height – 168 cm – the massage balls are well positioned. Under head pieced can be unzipped and washed! Given the price, good value.

The massage chair has been used by the family quite a few times now. The quality of the chair is very good. The device is also very quite, sometimes its hard to tell if someone is using it.
The Shiastsu and Rolling back massage options are brilliant, further there is option to fix a spot in the back to massage which is excellent. The neck massage is ok. To use the neck massage, the back massage has to be on as well. Would be nice if could have it independently operating of the back massage.
Overall very pleased with the product so far.
Fantastic bit of ki
I ordered this for my wife who has been missing her massages during the lockdown. We were really pleasantly surprised as it’s a lot better than we had expected. It’s very well made and easy to use. The remote control provides full control over the shiatsu and rolling massage heads and it’s possible to set a spot massage if you wish to concentrate on a particular area. The heat function is subtle but works fine for its intended purpose. We haven’t really used the massage seat part but it’s an added bonus. We can really recommend this product.
Improves tension and improves mobility
I have a bulging disc in the back aswell as general wear and tear that causes discomfort and pain. I use the seat to loosen tightness in my back. The heat and massaging motion eases tension and improves mobility. Although it is uncomfortable in parts of my back it’s overall effect is worth it.
A very good massage
We have only been using this massager for a few days but first impressions are good. The massager seems good value for the money considering how much you pay for personal massages. The shiatsu and rolling massage options give you the choice between a firm or gentle massage where the spot button enables the massager to focus on areas where the back muscles are stiff and it does seem to loosen them up. You get a good massage which can be uncomfortable at times depending on the condition of your back. This is no different to a personal massage. The neck massage function is good although we would have liked the option of using it on its own. The one negative thing we have found is the massager goes too low on the back i.e. it hits the bones either side of the spine which can be uncomfortable. Also not sure what benefit the vibration function in the seat provides. Overall we are very pleased with the massager considering the price.
Give your back a break.
I really enjoy using this massager, it’s much better than I thought it would be. The rollers or balls really knead the back muscles and ease the knots and it’s good that you have a choice of lower back upper back or both and the vibration seat pad and the heat option is a bonus. Great to use after a lot of bending down in the garden. Great to use even if you haven’t been doing anything. I have it permanently rigged up on the spare chair. Love it.
This is the first Shiatsu seat I’ve had and I am not disappointed. I actually bought this as a gift but end up using it myself nearly as much!
There are many different options to choose as you would expect from a quality massage seat product which are all driven through the simple to use remote control. One of the useful options is allowing the user to pinpoint a particular area on your back by just using the arrows on the remote control. Easy. The Shiatsu or rolling massage option give you a differing experience depending on how you feel on the day plus let’s not forget the neck massage too. You can adjust the height on this too depending on what you like.
The Shiatsu seat does not make a great deal of noise when in use so you can use it whilst watching tv or just relaxing. You can use it pretty much anywhere although I prefer on a harder seat with the Shiatsu seat strapped in rather than on a soft seat like a sofa (does still work though!).
24 month warranty gives you peace of mind too. Very happy with my purchase.
I dont think this is worth the money but it does the job ,,, its very sturdy and can move from chair to chair it certainly does massage with great intensity but i have 2 down points.
1 .. the heat isnt good i feel nothing much ,, i can get better heating sitting in my car.

Great for short massages at home! Not so comfortable if you are tall.
I ended up buying this product after reading several reviews. I am satisfied with its ample controls and features. It’s really hard to beat.
The massage is relaxing and covers a lot.
However if you are on the tall side (> 185cm) you’ll have a harder time finding a comfortable place.
I guess this is as good as it gets except for real massage.
This product did the job, I use it in my office on a day to day basis. It really helps to get the aches out of sitting in one spot continuously.
It would be great if the nodes could get a bit higher to go to the base of the neck and also a bit lower to reach the base of your back. But with a little adjustment of the body and a pillow, you can get your whole back massaged.

On first impressions this is a well made item which looks like it will last.
It is very versatile with 3 selectable areas of massage on the back, spot massage, 3 levels of vibration or none, and warmth. There are 3 timer settings.
It has a cushion for the head and a cover over the massage area that softens the effect if used.
In use it had an excellent deep massage that I can feel helping the aches that I have in my back. The massager allows you to address those areas which are aching.
I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and found that it covered my back from top to bottom. I have the massager on a high back chair and the top of the massager is about 9 inches above the top of the chair.
When registering the warranty Snailax Customer Service responded very quickly and were very helpful.

Excellent shoulder/neck and body massages all round!
I took a gamble with this purchase as was not sure with it being significantly cheaper than the market leader… But I have to say, I was very impressed. My main area of focus was the neck massage, and I found this very effective. I tried the competition’s top product (which doesn’t have a neck massager part but does do shoulders) but found it did nothing for my neck/shoulders at all.
The Snailax product on the other hand really did – it’s strong and can be moved up or down your neck, includes heat, and can massage in two directions. It feels great!

When I first started using it I was underwhelmed. It wasn’t hitting my problem area on my upper back. I also don’t like the neck massaging feature, it’s quite uncomfortable on the neck. If I sit on a couple of cushions then it back reach my lower back, and the neck part will actually hit my upper back rather than neck. Since I use it with cushions to help adjust my height and so that my neck isn’t being massaged, I actually love it and use it everyday. I did a lot of research before buying it and from what I’ve read, I don’t think I’d have found anything better for less than 250. I personally think the only way to massage your neck is with hands. But I’m glad I didn’t choose the chair without a neck part, because I like it on my shoulders and upper back. I also found it slightly disappointing that the balls don’t really reach much more than the center of your back… and I’m quite slim. All this being said, I’ve figured out how to make it work well for me age I enjoy using it everyday. The heat feature is really lovely. You can also activate a 2 year warranty when you receive it which is reassuring.
Wonderful product as I have a lot of remedial massage and acupuncture treatments so ”tis will save me money as I can use this at home as many times a day before and after work… feels like human hands and probably would be weird if you’re not used to massage as some people don’t enjoy them . However I could have them all day and I have it on the highest hardest setting with heat and vibration mode ..good that there are different setting modes and strengths …Ideal for my spondylitis and spondylosis and muscle wear & tea

This massager’s made very well and operates just super easy. It contains all the necessary features within remote control. We’ve been using it for around a week now and so far happy with purchase.
-Bottom part has two levels of vibration.
-Lower and Upper back can be selected separately as well as the Spot function is brilliant to fix on the area you really need more care. The upper part doesn’t go very high but you can move your body a little down to get the shoulders area.
Neck rollers can be adjusted lower or upper and you can use it for massaging your head as well.
The heat is a slightly warm at first but getting pleasantly hotter with every minute.
Overall, satisfied with this product. Already contacted support to receive 24 months warranty and got approval once confirmed Amazon Order ID purchase. The resolution time’s been less than 12 hours, thank you.

Sadly this supposed Christmas surprise for my husband was spoilt because Amazon asked before Christmas for comments, thus spoiling the surprise. We are unable to make a comment on the suitability of the product because it’s inadvisable to use the massager, my husband has a pace maker due to a heart condition, the instructions state not to use until we’ve checked with a doctor. All in all a disappointing experience, I’ve no doubt the massager is good for the right person.
Fabulous allrounde
I find this massage seat ticks all the boxes. I suffer from my back going into spasm especially after doing a 5 hour shift of moving heavy items. I get home and do 15 mins on the massage seat and it relieves all the muscles in my back. the added bonus of the vibrating seat and also the heat pad just adds to the overall experience. The heat pad doesn’t get very hot if this is what you’re after but it is enough to help warm and relax the muscles. the control panel is great as you have all options clearly displayed. all in all I’m thrilled with my purchase. An added note is that the support team, when I was activating my warranty, were very quick to respond and guide me through the process which gives me the confidence that they would be there for me should there be a problem. I look forward to using my seat for many years to come.
I got this massaging chair for someone who suffers with a bad back and it has been a big help to her. It massages the part of her back that she needs the relief for and seems to be helping. It can be used on many different chairs and we found that if it seems to intense if you keep your dressing gown on it makes it better till you get used to it. It also has a vibration setting and heat function aswell so was good for relieving pain. You can also make it massage a certain area if you need it to.
The quality of the product is excellent for the price and was easy to set up from the box. we were very impressed with it. Highly recommend

Never I’ve known to make sounds that could have come from the house of a neighbor watching a movie to combat his loneliness. Quite an experience that massage seat!
The device has sort of diagnostic capacities as it pinpointed one spot on my lower left back that I associate with helping out a friend moving a cast iron stove down a staircase. It’s a flashback travel device in that regard as well.
The heating pad (in the back only) is always on. It doesn’t make you think of tropical beaches as your private Thai masseur is triggering billions of sensation neurons while doing its near merciless kneading of your back.
The seating pad can vibrate but that isn’t my thing. Too much already is going on in the back though I guess it can help to invigorate the flow of body juices.
Oddly enough after some sessions one seems to be able to enjoy the whole experience differently. It might be that is because the tensions that tied down vertebrae have relaxed after a few sessions (one feels like few centimeters taller; the head higher and colors appear brighter) and/or because the seat is sneakingly used while trying to get some work done.
Hadn’t expected this health “gadget” to give so much joy. I have to make sure my wife uses it as well so she get the benefits too and doesn’t get jealous but rather inspired.

We were so impressed that we decided to purchase it. However, they had none in stock so I turned to Amazon and checked out the various models before choosing this one.
I ordered it and delivery was extremely fat and well packaged.
Its is very well made and looks great. Tried it out and it really does do what it says. I cannot stress enough the quality of this product and highly recommend it to others. The adaptor for use in a vehicle is not included though but available from the company website. They offer an excellent warrant and communications with them are first class.
This is amazing massager !!!! Is cost every penny. Finally I found something helpful for my back pain. I am extremely happy. But!!! Unfortunately at home we had argued because we are big family everybody wants to use it !!! And this shiatsu massager never take a rest for the past 1 week. . Again I am 100% sure is really well spend money. It was really nice Christmas presents for whole my family. It has all you need: vibration, heating, rolling, shiatsu, neck, shoulder everything!!! Very intense - perfec
Can’t fault this product. Really gives you a good massage, quite intense. Some say the heat isn’t there, after a few minutes it certainly is. A number of options include full upper / lower back or just upper or just lower back. You can select a specific spot on your back. Also includes vibration on the base. Using mine right now. Love it.
I have only had the massage chair for a few days but OMG I could not now live without it! It is a sturdy well made piece of kit with a easy to use remote control. I bought the chair primarily for the neck massager but the whole thing is fantastic. I am 5’2″ and tend to sit on a cushion. This enable me to move the neck massager from the back of my head right down to the top of my shoulders. The back massager is excellent too, rolling for a gentler massage and Shiatsu for a deeper massage, both with heat. I am using it for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 – 30 minutes in the evening. The only very small niggles i have are that I would like the option of neck massage only, the heat on the neck section is not very noticeable (but really good on the back section) and the vibration seat doesn’t do anything for me (but you can turn it off so that’s fine).
The price is fantastic and it comes with a 2 year guarantee. I highly recommend this massage chair and frankly don’t know how I have survived so long without one. Buy it……you won’t regret it!
I love it ! This chair is very well made, high quality. I think the price is really good considering it is a full back and neck Shiatsu massager. I especially like the shiatsu mode and spot mode, and I can feel that the massage heads really can reach the deep tissues and ease the pain and relax the muscles. The heights of the massage heads are adjustable to suit people of different heights. Not only me but now my whole family enjoys this chair.

Back massage
Brought this for the wife as she suffers from lower back pain’ when she first used the massager it was abit painful for her’ but now all is ok she seems to like it’ the item was abit pricey though but i suppose you get what you pay for’ there are some very cheaper options but we are both glad with our purchase
To be honest i was surprised to see that it works that well and is so nicely built. It did exceeded my expectstions. Comes with different control features, from its control unit you can choose either you want upper back or lower back to be massaged or you can go for full back massage.
Also, the SPOT feature it’s really cool, you just direct massager to the spot you mostly need and you can leave for that specific spot to be massaged.
Also, it does have a vibration feature, timer with 5,10,15 minutes session and heater .
Massager overall is great but could be just little bit tougher, considering its cheap price won’t complaint a lot.

I have been struggling with back pain and thought I would give this a try. It was so simple to set up and the first time I used it I tried the different settings to see what suited me best. I know some of the reviews stated the shiatsu massage setting was quite severe but I thought it was just perfect for my liking, but it will be a very personal thing. It did take a couple of tries with it until I got used to it and for a little while after using the area can feel a bit tender, but when you are in pain and you can target the exact area with heat, vibration and effective massage it was just bliss
Absolutely brilliant I have been suffering with knotted muscles in my lower back for 3 weeks. Feels as if I have been to the osteopath which would have cost me way more. I particularly like the options of upper, full, lower back. The only minus is that the remote control is a bit flimsy & has a design fault as the wire is coming out other wise I would have given 5 stars.
I really really like it, it’s so comfortable and easy to move as it is portable, you can put on any chair, it’s taller than how it looks in the images and description and I’m very happy with it.
Never tried one of these before so I have nothing to compare it to. I have a lower back problem and was hoping this chair would alleviate it. I found that even at its lowest the massage balls didn’t go low enough. Using a couple of cushions helped. The massage is quite intense. The next day I felt like I’d been beaten up…very sore! I enjoyed the full back massage but the heat setting perhaps wasn’t as intense as I’d wanted. After several uses I can say this massager helps a lot. There’s a bit of a knack to using it and you’ll need to sit on cushions to massage the lowest part of your back but I’m really pleased with it.
A year later…this device has become an invaluable companion!…I use it whenever I feel tightness in my lower back, that is before the muscles lock up and cause a wider problem. It really helps and stops my lower back from siezing up. I use it a lot and it’s never failed.
Love the massage that gives me..I do work in busy restaurant and i have to work hard every day..my upper back hurts a lot. But after I use this massage, I feel that is way much better! BUT! Do not use more than 15 minutes at the time because it’s really strong and can be painful after longer use specially in the begging until your back tissues starts get to used to it…
