Currently use the full body massage but i have played with all the features on the remote controls and find them very useful, especially the Spot function, which can be used at any time of the massage and then when turned off goes back to the original setting
Depending on your massage requirements, this feels quite deep and could be uncomfortable for some areas of the upper body, for me personally i find it soothing as i prefer a deeper massage, so suits my requirement’s perfectly.
My partner tried it and she found the upper body area too uncomfortable but the lower body and spot function really hit the spot!

Firstly the chair works extremely well! It helps pain relief for anyone who suffers from back pain. I suffer from a condition called scoliosis which is a curve in the spine and with an office job you can imagine the pain I go through. This chair helps massively and helps my brother who also suffers from serve back pain the chair has a lot of different massage settings to suit everyone. Snailax the company itself go above and beyond for their customers, Senbei was a pleasure to deal with as the chair I bought for my brother this x mas had a fault and he resolved that problem very quickly and is in process of a replacement.
I do a lot of exercise and along with the general aches from working out I had developed a persistent pain in my left shoulder. The shiatsu massage chair has been a great way to even out knots and I can feel a clear improvement from only three 10 minute sessions on the chair since it arrived. There are 5,10 and 15 minute timers, the later being the maximum recommending use per day. The shiatsu setting is really powerful but can be regulated by removing the back slip (stronger) or adding a towel if you wanted it softer, but I like the forceful massage. There is also a more relaxing rolling massage setting which is very nice. Together with the two vibration options which come through the seat area, this is a really effective way to get a massage at home for the price of just two or three sessions from a trained physio.
There are two back modes: Shiatsu and Rolling with the options to do either full, lower or upper back and also a Spot option that lets you focus on a certain spot foras long as you like. This is really useful after a hard exercising session or if you feel a particular muscle tightening. You can increase the intensity of the chair from soft to really hard and effictive. It’s definitely not a toy or a gimmick.
There is also a neck section allowing you to focus on the neck, with controls allowing you to shift rotation up or down along with the intensity.
All the options are controlled by a timer and there is also a vibrating option. All of these options can be used all together, individually or you can mix and match. As I said I was amazed by the amount of options on offer. It is superb value for money and will save me a fortune at the physio.
Oh and I nearly forgot . It has a Heat option too meaning you can heat it up slowly as you adjust the intensity of your massage.

This was a Christmas gift for our mother who suffers with back pain. It has been a huge hit and she uses it daily now to help with her pain relief. The remote control panel works well and is easy to understand. We have all had a turn trying out the massager which provides a fantastic deep, strong massage so definitely a worthwhile purchase if you’re looking for a comfortable massage seat to work out knots and ease tensio
Bought for my mum, it’s really good and the massage is really strong, the only reason for not awarding 5 for all is that for those with not mum body fat it can be painful as the lowest setting is still powerful, but still good!
Fantastic product that fits all sizes of people. I am 6’1″, my partner is 5’4″. We can both use it comfortably. The Shiatsu function feels fantastic just like a strong masseuse’s hands to relieve back and neck pain. You can use it on all sorts of chairs and sofas. We have a recliner sofa that complements the massager well.
The remote control is easy to use and you can select any combination of functions.
After a 15 minute session you feel rejuvenated.

Has been a great addition to the family especially during lockdown! Found myself or someone in the family is using the Snailax on a daily basis as the massager definitely helps to alleviate neck and back tension. The heat setting combined with focusing the massager on certain points works on loosening knots. Been wanting one of these for a while and I was not disappointed when I choose this one. It is a great product for niggly backs. It is gentle with the rotations but you feel like you get a great massage at the same time. The time feature is great and you can set it twice to do twice as long. I haven’t tried the heat function yet but I am sure it will be great too.

This is my first massage chair. It arrived very fast and well packaged by Amazon.
It is extremely easy to setup without too much time on the manual. The back of the massage is very solid, so I can place to armchair, office chair or on the bed without any issue.
After power on the massage, I try difference combination of functions. All functions work perfectly and easy to operate.
I have try to adjust my seating position and the angle of the back of the massage seat in order to increase the coverage of the coverage area of the upper back massage section. This is simple, once you done this step, you will get the optimum coverage area. Saying that, one possible improvement for future product is to have slightly higher coverage area (i.e.: 10cm) for the upper back area.
From comfort, pain relief and easy to use perspectives, this is best massage experience I have ever had with reasonable price-tag. I’m enjoying my after work time/bedtime moment using this gadget which is very effective and relaxes the muscle tissues. In short, I will recommend the product for other and rate the products for 5 Stars.
Despite what one negative reviewer had to say ; the other reviewers are all correct . This machine rocks . I put the machine on a straight backed wooden chair for an upright seating position , selected the Lower Back option on the easy to use remote control and the massaging nodules reached down to my coxis . To increase or decrease the intensity of the massage I simply pressed my body closer to the machine and sat looser . So if the machine feels too strong , don’t sit so close . Using the machine on a straight backed chair instead of a soft , sloping comfy chair gives one more room for manovre . .
I bought this product to help in between going for my massages . I like a deep massage and this does this for me.

This has been a life saver in lockdown as I suffer with a bad back and being sat a lot hasn’t helped. My only niggle is I’m 5ft1 and the remote/setup doesn’t allow a great amount of wriggle room to get to hard to reach areas if you’re not an average height. For example the neck massager is too high for me. But I tend to use the full back setting and with the heat option it’s great.
I’m actually quite impressed with this. My back has been snarled up for 3 weeks (Covid stress!) and after an hour physio session tightness remained. But this little unit completely shifted the back spasms and pain after lying on it for 90 minutes. It was probably too long because I was pretty bruised the next day, but the muscles completely eased up pushing the lactic acid out. As I’m computer working all day I have since used it on my work chair almost daily and it has massively helped. The only thing it doesn’t quite do is neck, which is where my tension stems from, but because I am tall and the unit doesn’t cover my whole back, all I do is shift the entire unit up my back and press my neck back into it when the rollers come by. It is a very strong unit which is what I need to really press into the muscle – my wife’s strength is not normally enough, even the physio, but this is fantastic. I do think though I might invest in a specific neck model.
It needs a cushion material as the rotational pads can be easily felt and without a towel to soften the feel the treatment can be overly harsh. Note, this is a recommendation with the unit. It would also benefit from a parking location at the base of the unit for the rotation pads.
Brilliant bit of kit. Very easy to set up and the instructions for the remote control are easy to understand as is the remote itself.
Comfortable to sit on when off and the functions are lovely when on. Just be prepared to lean forward a bit until you get used to it.
Advise making it ‘park’ in a Comfortable position when leaving your chair so as to avoid finding yourself encountering a knobbly surprise when you go back to sit down.

This is an excellent product, very effective massage and it does exactly what it says. It came super quick basically 2 days. I don’t have a chair in my room so I propped it up against the wall and it is still comfortable.
All the settings work well but I love the fact that it does the heated shiatsu from the neck. Usually it’s only the back.
The best money I’ve ever spent as I’m a hairdresser and it’s so ideal for me especially with the daily standing.
I have had this item for a few months and its great value for the money. I have seen more expensive items which do not offer the same features. I have to sit for long periods of time which gives me back pain, I find sitting on the chair using the target feature helps alleviate the pain. After using my one a few of my family members have invested in the same chair.

I don’t use the massage on the bum area, you have to sit a certain way so it doesn’t cause pain. I don’t need it anyway. The seat will heat up though, that feels nice.
I love this massage chair, i have painful back since after giving birth and this helps relieve my back pain. I use it 1 up to 3x a day, for 15 mins each use. The remote control is very easy to use. It hits the spots i want to be massaged.
I used to have the homedics and i thought would try this and so glad i did, this is way more better and the price is also very good compared to the homedics.

Fantastic massager, well worth the money. Only snag for me being short is that the neck is too high up. I experiment with different cushions – there is a gap between the bottom massager and the neck massager so I struggle getting to the middle/top of my back.
I was lent one of these Snailax Shiatsu massagers by a colleague to try out during my period of working from home through Covid. It was amazing! I opted for one of my own as a birthday present and regularly enjoy the tension relief it gives on my home office chair. One of the features I really like, is that you can set it to massage in a place where you need it, such as lower back with the option of heat too! Overall, it is a great product and once you have registered it, you get a 24 months replacement warranty.
I got this as a birthday present and I am very pleased with it. It takes time to get used to the massager rotating on the back and it can feel quite hard and uncomfortable. But once you get used to it , it feels lovely. The remote control is simple and straight forward to use.
he rollers do a real job on getting into the muscles. Heat functionality is slightly too hot on the neck – it gets a little uncomfortable after 10-ish minutes probably because the neck will likely be exposed to the chair more directly versus the back. haven’t tried it but possibly an extra towel around the neck would mitigate the problem. Otherwise, it’s a nice piece of kit and better than the vibration-only massage tools elsewhere.
I bought one for me to replace an old Homedics massager and another one as a present for my sister. My sister loved it. The back massager is very good and I particularly like the vibration on the seat and the heat settings really add to a very relaxing massage. It’s very light and fits on any chair and the velcro strap at the back keeps it in place on the chair. The value for money is amazing, I got an amazing price from Amazon and the comparable Homedics massager was 3 times the price. It was an easy choice to make and I’m very happy with my purchase and my sister is very happy with her present.
I can only say that I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I have a “long back” and suffer from lower back pain regularly; often brought on simply by standing or walking slowly. The decision to buy this type of product was as a result of trying a massage chair in a shopping mall a few weeks ago. Needed something more suitable for use in my home, came across this on Amazon and bought it and a neck massager of the same Snailax product line as a special offer.
What can I say except WOW! The relief from lower back pain is amazing and the massage nodules get right down to the small of my back where most needed. The choice of heat, intensity levels and whether lower, upper or whole back massage cover all options as far as I’m concerned and I have no regrets what-so-ever in my purchase.
The length of massage is also adjustable. Perhaps starting with the shortest interval of 5 mins. would be advisable but it wasn’t long before I was using the full 15 min. option. Wish I’d bought this some time ago.

Like it but pity the ‘full back’ massaging function doesnt go up to the shoulders area, only as far up as the lower shoulder blades. I’d thought it would do as I’m 5.2″.
I like the idea of the adjustable neck height function, it’d been a perfect overall massager if the back part also had an adjustable height as well.

I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and this product was just what I was looking for.
It fits really well on to my office chair, and the built in straps keep it firmly in place. The remote control allows selection of lower, upper or full back massage as well as toggling the heat feautre on and off. The heat is particularly good for aching muscles.

This was a birthday present off my husband, as I was missing my occasional professional massages due to Covid.
It’s wonderful! Really relaxing. I use it on my bed with my feet resting on the bed, and I put a pillow between me and the massager to ease the pressure a little bit (it’s designed to use on a chair with your feet on the floor, so it can feel a bit sharp with your legs elevated. The pillow takes the sharpness away).
I’m really pleased with it, and using it for 15 minutes before I go to sleep is a great way to wind down before bed. Five stars.

I usually have upper neck pains here and there and usually get a sports massage to sort that out.
However this is equally as efficient as a sports massage as it hit the places around my neck that I thought would be difficult to get to

This gives you a PROPER MASSAGED FEELING, it is wise to place the provided mat over the babk and a towel for my lower back as the rollers are going to REALLY give you a deep rub as they scroll automatically up and down. You can press a button for deep heat or not and also use the SPOT button to concentrate the massage rollers on one specific part of your body like shoulders/ upper back or lower back. I have had three previous back operations and I really wish that I had bought this item years ago. And as a bonus they are sending me a neck pillow massaager which I’m looking forward to receiving soon.

I have had this product for only a short while, but ever since accident, I have had some serious muscle tightness in my back, knots and all. I have now spent plenty of time on this chair and it relaxes the muscles and i’m good to go for a while. It fits comfortably on the living room chair, remove control within reach and a good movie on. Absolutely recommend this chair. It does take a bit to adjust to the hardness of the massage balls, Shiatsu function is a bit like being at chiropractors, but these are things you get used to.
Does the back massage amazingly well. You have options of 5/10/15 mins to choose from the duration of the massage. You also have a spot massage option for a specific problem area of the back. It’s light weight and you can move it around to any part of the house where you can sit, relax and get your massage done. Overall, great value for money.
The whole family loves this massage chair. The shiatsu function gives a great strong massage and gets to all the achy parts on your back. I find it the most effective if you do one section at a time – e.g. lower back first, then upper back, then the neck. The heating function is a nice touch and helps to relax the muscles. It saves us having to go for a paid for massage and we love it!
It is a nice product and at a great price too. Various rolling balls function well, and gives you a comfortable experience in pain/fatigue relief.
The only drawback I could find is in heating function, it doesn’t heat the surfaces appropriately. A little more temperature could have got this chair a 5 start from me.
I had borrowed a massage chair from a friend after serious back pain. This convinced me I need to have my own. After looking into the different option on the market, I came across the Snailax product. I have used this as per the instruction, no more than 15 mins a day and it is amazing. The neck massage hits the spot and with the spot massage being able to move it to the area you want to target is fantastic. The options available on the Snailax is great, you can choose either shiatsu on full back or low back or high back and again target areas using spot . I recommend this product and am enjoying using this .
Bought this as a birthday present for my wife, and she absolutely loves it! The ability to focus in and pinpoint therapy for where the pain is most severe is a godsend. I myself had a go and as much as I dislike massage this firm, I definitely felt looser and more relaxed afterwards, especially combined with the heating programme. The SNAILAX shiatsu Neck & Back Massager with Heat is a fantastic product. depending how you position yourself you can get from mild to deep, firm and relaxing massages all the way up the spine. i have even used lying down and works wonders on the neck and back. Quality is well made and comfortable and looks good on any chair. This product folds and can be easily stored away. I have felt better already and use many times during the day. I would highly recommend the massager!

I absolutely love this product, for the price it is a bargain. I have looked at massage chairs but the price of these are astronomical, if you want the next best thing, then this is it. It is easy to control, very user friendly and does the job. If anything, you may not be able to put your full weight on it but that is just my personal preference. This is a good product but not completely suitable for short people. I am 5ft and have to put with 2 cushions to make me taller on the seat in order that the massage rollers work where they should and I lose the use of the leg massagers.
Massage was brilliant at getting knots out of lower back and was very strong. Definitely not for a relaxing massage I could feel the benefit after only one massage

I work for the nhs and right now have been having to do long hours doing remote clinics and notice back tension and discomfort. I bought this for my periodic back aches I get, and now with the lockdown the inactivity which causes back aches. I have always wanted to get one of these and I think the time was right. It is a little hard on the back but I’m hoping with time and not using it too often my back will get used to it. I tried putting it on my armchair and then leaving it there but it was not comfortable, so it’s in the box waiting to be used when I need it next. Suffering with working-from-home desk pain, I had really been hoping for one that would do the area from my shoulder blades to tops of my shoulders, sadly it didn’t quite reach. I have adjusted and it about gets it. The neck massager is great a nice feature. Across the top of the upper back it’s quite strong and I felt a bit bruised afterwards, but I think if I add a towel it may help to soften and I need to get used to it. The warmth is really nice. Overall a great machine. The roller was so so.
The massage chair has been used by the family quite a few times now. The quality of the chair is very good. The device is also very quite, sometimes its hard to tell if someone is using it.
The Shiastsu and Rolling back massage options are brilliant, further there is option to fix a spot in the back to massage which is excellent. The neck massage is ok. To use the neck massage, the back massage has to be on as well. Would be nice if could have it independently operating of the back massage.

Received one of these as a gift – first sight and use is that it is a good quality product with strong Shiatsu mechanism with plenty of force – adjustable height for head and neck work is very neat. Will need to see how it operates and longevity of equipment but 2 year warranty seems more than fair.
I have a bulging disc in the back aswell as general wear and tear that causes discomfort and pain. I use the seat to loosen tightness in my back. The heat and massaging motion eases tension and improves mobility. Although it is uncomfortable in parts of my back it’s overall effect is worth it.
We love this massage chair. I constantly suffer from knots in my back and this has been a great relief. You can focus on certain sore spots and it also has a heating element. A 10min session relieve the tension and I feel so much better. We manage to fit it on a armchair so it’s great to have a massage and relax while reading a book. Would recommend this product. Even my husband enjoys a massage on this and he’s not a ‘massage person’.
A very good product. Intensity of the massage knobs is perfect.The roller option would suit when u need a mild massage. Quick delivery and prompt response from the seller for any questions.
Doesn’t feel the vibrators on the seating pad are of much use. The major down side I felt the topmost point on the massager should’ve spanned a bigger area to cover the shoulders and it is one of the areas I wanted it to work on.

I really enjoy using this massager, it’s much better than I thought it would be. The rollers or balls really knead the back muscles and ease the knots and it’s good that you have a choice of lower back upper back or both and the vibration seat pad and the heat option is a bonus. Great to use after a lot of bending down in the garden. Great to use even if you haven’t been doing anything. I have it permanently rigged up on the spare chair. Love it.
I really like this massager it provides a deep rolling massage the full length of the back and works well on tight knots. You can also select it to focus on one spot for extra kneading.As I’m small it doesn’t reach my lower back completely but you can prop up on a cushio

This chair arrived promptly and was packaged really well.
I was very sceptical of this product for the price as it’s really cheap compared to most but on the other hand a lot to spend if you’re are concerned it will be no use, however I am more then pleased with it!
I have been suffering with terrible hip and back pain from an injury that came about from exercising incorrectly with a kettle bell. I’ve used this chair only once today, but it’s brilliant. It gives a deep relaxing massage with heat.
I recommend playing around with the different settings, the neck one was too high at first but I’ve adjusted this so it’s low down on the settings and doing the tops of my shoulders.
All you do it’s get it out of the box and plug it into the mains. 🙂

This product is ideal for what I need it for which is lower back pain muscular tightness. After the first use they were relaxed. Product was used on an armchair at home today it’s making the journey into the office where I’m sure it will work even better on the more ridged office chair. And as a bonus it’s very good value for money. Customer service have responded in quick time. And are very clear with what is required to activate the 2 year warranty ( what a bonus )

I took a gamble with this purchase as was not sure with it being significantly cheaper than the market leader… But I have to say, I was very impressed. My main area of focus was the neck massage, and I found this very effective. I tried the competition’s top product (which doesn’t have a neck massager part but does do shoulders) but found it did nothing for my neck/shoulders at all.
The Snailax product on the other hand really did – it’s strong and can be moved up or down your neck, includes heat, and can massage in two directions. It feels great!
The Shiatsu and rolling massages with heat and spot control were great too, very impressed!
In other words, highly recommended bothe for the quality which you realise as soon as you get it out of the box and to the price.

Sadly this supposed Christmas surprise for my husband was spoilt because Amazon asked before Christmas for comments, thus spoiling the surprise. We are unable to make a comment on the suitability of the product because it’s inadvisable to use the massager, my husband has a pace maker due to a heart condition, the instructions state not to use until we’ve checked with a doctor. All in all a disappointing experience, I’ve no doubt the massager is good for the right person.
I find this massage seat ticks all the boxes. I suffer from my back going into spasm especially after doing a 5 hour shift of moving heavy items. I get home and do 15 mins on the massage seat and it relieves all the muscles in my back. the added bonus of the vibrating seat and also the heat pad just adds to the overall experience. The heat pad doesn’t get very hot if this is what you’re after but it is enough to help warm and relax the muscles. the control panel is great as you have all options clearly displayed. all in all I’m thrilled with my purchase. An added note is that the support team, when I was activating my warranty, were very quick to respond and guide me through the process which gives me the confidence that they would be there for me should there be a problem. I look forward to using my seat for many years to come.

Bought this for my wife who has been suffering recently from upper back pain, she loved it as did my sons partner when she visited. Very easy to use and love the ability to set the height of the massage zone (really hits the spot) as well as having it travel up and down automatically. So far have this was used in on our sofa but we are looking forward to trying it on a harder upright office style chair. Great value and with usual next day delivery from Amazon.
Never I’ve known to make sounds that could have come from the house of a neighbor watching a movie to combat his loneliness. Quite an experience that massage seat!
The device has sort of diagnostic capacities as it pinpointed one spot on my lower left back that I associate with helping out a friend moving a cast iron stove down a staircase. It’s a flashback travel device in that regard as well.
The heating pad (in the back only) is always on. It doesn’t make you think of tropical beaches as your private Thai masseur is triggering billions of sensation neurons while doing its near merciless kneading of your back.
The seating pad can vibrate but that isn’t my thing. Too much already is going on in the back though I guess it can help to invigorate the flow of body juices.
Oddly enough after some sessions one seems to be able to enjoy the whole experience differently. It might be that is because the tensions that tied down vertebrae have relaxed after a few sessions (one feels like few centimeters taller; the head higher and colors appear brighter) and/or because the seat is sneakingly used while trying to get some work done.
Hadn’t expected this health “gadget” to give so much joy. I have to make sure my wife uses it as well so she get the benefits too and doesn’t get jealous but rather inspired.

Its is very well made and looks great. Tried it out and it really does do what it says. I cannot stress enough the quality of this product and highly recommend it to others. The adaptor for use in a vehicle is not included though but available from the company website. They offer an excellent warrant and communications with them are first class.
I wanted a massager that would give me a lower back workout and my wife a neck and shoulders massage. This one does both. It can feel a bit too firm to begin with but after you get used to it the firmness works really well. It allows you to massage upper back or lower back which is great for us but you can also set it to do the whole back. An added bonus is that if you find an area you especially want to work on, you can focus it on that spot. This is definitely a good buy.
This massage chair is a lot more powerful than I expected it to be! It has several different functions on the remote which allows you to choose the type of massage you want, which is handy if you want to focus on a specific area rather than a full body massage. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he is very pleased with it. It can be quite strong but I suppose it could take some getting used to. Also, the customer service from Snailax has been great in regards to activating the free warranty. They have been prompt with their replies to my emails.
Can’t fault this product. Really gives you a good massage, quite intense. Some say the heat isn’t there, after a few minutes it certainly is. A number of options include full upper / lower back or just upper or just lower back. You can select a specific spot on your back. Also includes vibration on the base. Using mine right now. Love it.

Brought this for the wife as she suffers from lower back pain’ when she first used the massager it was abit painful for her’ but now all is ok she seems to like it’ the item was abit pricey though but i suppose you get what you pay for’ there are some very cheaper options but we are both glad with our purchase
I was recommended this by a friend i have had pain in my back from the lower part right up to top for about 4weeks I tried exercising I was ok walking but when it came to seating down or getting up I was in agony ,I got this I was on it for 15min and the relief I got was amazing I was a bit tender had a good soak in the bath ,it’s the second time I’ve used it now and it’s great wish I’d got it early and very good value for money
It is very easy to operate and has various massage including shiatsu and rolling with infra red heat that can be switched on and off. It is very comfortable to use and can easily be folded and stored away when not in use. It is really excellent for pain relief or even if you want to relax and just have authentic massage experience.
I am really pleased of this purchase. Good value for money and highly recommend it.

Also, the SPOT feature it’s really cool, you just direct massager to the spot you mostly need and you can leave for that specific spot to be massaged.
Also, it does have a vibration feature, timer with 5,10,15 minutes session and heater .
Massager overall is great but could be just little bit tougher, considering its cheap price won’t complaint a lot.

Well two and a half years on I still use this regularly and it makes such a difference to my ongoing back issues following an injury. I have to say I did not expect it to last this long, the neck part has recently stopped working but the back part still gives an amazing massage. I will definitely be getting another when this one breaks!
I have been struggling with back pain and thought I would give this a try. It was so simple to set up and the first time I used it I tried the different settings to see what suited me best. I know some of the reviews stated the shiatsu massage setting was quite severe but I thought it was just perfect for my liking, but it will be a very personal thing. It did take a couple of tries with it until I got used to it and for a little while after using the area can feel a bit tender, but when you are in pain and you can target the exact area with heat, vibration and effective massage it was just bliss
