Purchased just now for my live-streaming work. My opinion after a quick usage :-
+ve:
1. Very good performance, just like the multiple positive reviews on YouTube and Amazon etc.
2. No installation required – simply plug and play. Gets detected like a webcam. Very sleek and small.
3. Packaging and delivery were very good. A useful USB extender is also provided.
4. It works perfectly on my i7 laptop. Doesn’t show any lag on other i3 device even though the recommended config is i5.
5. Almost no lag or delay.

1. The device gets heated very quickly. I don’t think it would be safe to use it outside an air conditioned place. The heating issue serious – it is not mild heating but a potentially device-damaging level!
2. With no warranty, it looks like a risky investment.
3. Expensive – got it for Rs. 12,748.00 (but you don’t have better alternatives)

A must-have for any remote worker who wants a better web-cam experience
I have this hooked up to a 4K Sony Camcorder and it’s incredibly clear. The only thing to make sure of is that it will work with your USB setup.
I have found that using this through a USB-C dock does NOT work. I have this hooked up via the Apple Thunderbolt-USB-A and through another USB-3 dock via the USB-A port on that. My next test will be with a thunderbolt-3 dock.
Amazing piece of equipment.
This capture card is hard to get your hands on but it is worth the wait. The only complaint I have is that the cost is quite high. It does work really well with no fooling around with drivers or other software. It is a plug and play device. Windows 10 and OBS recognized it right away and I was able to start recording straight away. Very nice easy to use capture device.

I was lucky to get this as part of regular Amazon stock, which means I didn’t have to pay any ridiculous pandemic pricing. I still think it’s a little expensive even at its regular price, but it is a great device.
There’s not a whole lot to say about this except that it does what it’s supposed to.
Basically this turns any device with an HDMI output into a “webcam” recognizable to your OS. I use mine on Windows 10.
The device in itself is simple – one end is a USB 3.0 plug, and the other side is an HDMI input that you connect to the device you want to be your “camera” – whether it be a camera, game console, other computer or whatnot.
I’m not a streamer or anything, so I can’t speak to the latency of the device, but it seems perfectly fine for online meetings, etc. I use it for meetings and so I can have a PIP box for any screencasts I record.
If you plan to use with a camera, make sure that your camera has a couple of things:
* HDMI out (preferably “clean”)
* Live view over the HDMI – some cameras can only do playback over HDMI
* Ability to stay on for extended periods of time (you may need a dummy battery with AC power for this)
Things you might need to buy in addition to this (better to have it on arrival than to have to go out and buy later):
* HDMI cable
* HDMI adapter to mini-HDMI or micro-HDMI (depending on your device)
I have a couple of no-name “go-pro” type cameras that produce clean HDMI (no on-screen indicators) and that can be powered by USB without blacking out the screen after a timeout. Your mileage may vary if you have no-name action cameras, but according to Elgato’s compatibility list, real GoPros are supported.
None of my other cameras have clean HDMI out, but fortunately I was able to get around it using OBS. I use a filter to crop out the edges with the on-screen display text/icons.
Another thing to think about – if your camera’s LCD is not 16:9 aspect ratio (i.e., from an older camera), the live view coming out of your camera might not be 16:9 either. If you use OBS, you can crop it with a filter.
One of my cameras has interlaced output, but you can de-interlace it in OBS to get rid of the weird jaggies that occur with sudden movements. You can then install an OBS plugin to make OBS pretend to be a virtual webcam, which you would then select as your webcam for your web meetings.

Sehr schn klein, bertragung des HDMI outputs der Kamera in sehr guter Qualitt super einfach auf den PC mglich. Setup ging problemlos und wird auch problemlos als Webcam erkannt, sodass es eine super Mglichkeit bietet, die Videoqualitt in Videokonferenzen zu verbessern. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der doch erkennbare Inputlag insbesondere bei 4K bertragung.
Save a lot of trouble!
I wanted to stream live or doing my zoom call without a video capture card.
I realized that I need to use a couple of apps just to do that with my Sony A7III. It is doable without a capture card. I watched many YouTube videos on how to do it.
But the moment you are doing many Zoom calls and teaching class over Zoom, it becomes tedious to open up few apps and work with them.
With this, I just plug and play and I am good to go!

The picture lags a bit and not that good for fast movements, like those in games. Of course it all depends on the software and hardware that you use. For my use-case with almost static subjects, it works OK and the picture quality is HD and very good. It does not have HDMI 4K pass-through capability, though.

Webcam or Capture it does both
I primary bought this for using my GoPro as a webcam for Zoom, Teams, etc.. and it works wonders.
This also works with OBS for streaming or recording no issues. The best part is that I plugged my Nintendo Switch and it captured the gameplay 1080p perfectly.
Great value that can do multiple things. The stick does get hot for prolong use. Didn’t have compatibity issue with my cameras but you should check their website to be certain.
This bascially will take anything with HDMI out plugged into it and capture. It will recognize it as a webcam device but can be used in OBS with no issues.
Worked as expected
It’s a bit pricey for what it is.. however, it worked without any problems. It’s pretty much plug and play on a Mac OSX. I have used it with my GoPro Hero 4 and my Sony A6000 and it worked fine. I have also managed to get it working with OBS Studio for LIVE streaming with no issues. Great piece of kit if you have the budget.
I had several Elgato HDMI captures before and this is one of the 2 from Elgato that is UVC Compatible. This means Quicktime natively sees this as a camera source and it will work with Zoom / WebEx etc. The other Elgato product that will support UVC would be the HD60S+ which is badly out of stock since launch.

No buyer’s remorse, the Cam Link 4K is doing exactly what I wanted. Bit rate for my Logitech C910 web cam is 14217 kbps while the Cam Link w/ my Canon HF R600 is 34973 kbps. Only downside is my background, a bookshelf, has to be reorganized because it’s so sharp in the image you can see everything.
I highly recommend it if you want to step up your presence online and you have a camera with an hdmi output. My 7 year old desktop is running a 4th gen Intel i7 (they are up to 10th gen now). I was worried about it’s USB 3 performance but obviously based on the bit rates I have nothing to worry about. There are cheaper devices but I wanted one that was well reviewed. Buying from Amazon also meant that if my PC couldn’t handle it I could easily return it.

I got this to upgrade my virtual meeting experience. I’m running macOS, and the only problems I came into was resolved by restarting the computer and using a powered USB-3 hub. Originally, when I hooked it all up, zoom or Quicktime (to test) wouldn’t recognize the camera, so I restarted the computer and everything seemed to be ok. I’m using a MacPro (late 2013) and I initially plugged it directly into the computer. But the camlink wouldn’t work, so I plugged it into my powered USB 3 hub and it was working no problem.
I’ve been using it with my GoPro Hero 8, with the media cage. The video quality is far superior to the facetime camera on my display.
I was able to use this with my Black Magic Pocket, it was really easy to set this up and use this for streaming on twitch. One problem I had was that my motherboard didn’t support fast USB 3.0 so when I changes my motherboard the problem was gone when I plugged it into USB 3.1. This issue is maybe with older motherboards, a solution to this is a PCI-E USB 3.0 Expansion Card.

Use it with my Sony RX100 V and the quality is so much better than any webcam. Also use it with a GoPro Hero 7 Black and it works well with that, too.

Used this wonderful Capture Card with my Canon 200D.
– Works very well on Video Mode (of the camera) as it captures Full HD resolution of 1920×1080. It can stream continuously for 2 hours at 60 FPS setting.
– Streams upto 1080p 60 FPS for YouTube Live & Facebook Live, without any lags.
– Used with softwares such as vMix, OBS, Streamlabs OBS and Elgato Game Capture. No problem with any of them.
– It’s simple plug & play. No need to look for drivers.
– Heating: It doesn’t really heat that much, as compared to what people are claiming in their reviews. In case you’re streaming for about 3-4 hours, try taking a 15-20 min break and allow the Camlink to cool down. It doesn’t take beyond 10 mins to cool.
Overall, fantastic product!

Using Cam link 4k for weeks and I am happy with the image resolution and quality. just need to pay attention, it does not auto scale down the resolution (not like other video capture device), sometimes it may be inconvenienceannoying when you are in rush. for example, if your camera outputs 4K signal to Camlink, MS Teams will only show black screen since it supports top resolution as 1080p. you may have to use either other app like OBS to down scale resolution first, or change your camera to output 1080p signal. I like the small size of Camlink and good image quality; however, if you have different types of camera and computer like me and plan to switch around between them, you may need spend time to tweak it to work properly. thanks.
Truly Plug & Play!
I am a complete noob to this sort of stuff. We only got one so that our kids could do their Taekwondo classes using Zoom. The built in camera on our laptop was not nearly wide enough.
Well I was pleasantly surprised that this Camlink is truly plug and play. It works seamlessly with our Sony A7iii, A6000, and RX100mk5.
Ideal, um eine Kamera / einen Camcorder ohne Webcam – Funktion, aber mit HDMI Ausgang, als Webcam zu betreiben. Wird mit einem kompakten Camcorder der Fa. Panasonic betrieben. Man bentigt die Software von Elgato, ist aber alles gut in der Anleitung bzw. auf der Homepage erklrt. Einfach befolgen, dann sollte man nach ca. 10 Minuten eine “neue” Webcam unter Windows vorfinden. Nach der erstmaligen Einrichtung ist es denkbar einfach: Elgato Software starten und im Hintergrund laufen lassen, diese stellt dann das Bild des Gerts als Webcam zur Verfgung, z.B. fr Skype, Discord, OBS, etc.
Funktioniert tadellos
Ich nehme ber den Cam Link Videos fr meinen YouTube-Kanal mit eine Olympus OM-D E-M1 auf. Die Qualitt begeistert mich. Probleme hatte ich keine. Habe Kamera und Cam Link mit meinem MacBook verbunden und hat gleich perfekt funktioniert.
I’m using this for a webcam setup (rather than video production). If you own a DSLR already, or are really concerned about good video quality and willing to spend for it, then the video quality you get from this set-up is unbeatable for a webcam, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Although I’m really happy with my set-up, there are a few points that I’ve learned since buying that I wish I’d known:
–DSLRs are generally not designed to be run continuously, and will tend to overheat after 30-60 minutes. There are things you can do to mitigate overheating (like turning off the LCD and leaving the battery door open), but you should plan to also buy an external battery (also called a “dummy battery”), which will remove a heat source from the camera body and allow it run longer.
–I went with the 4K version, because my camera is 4k, and why not. It’s generally my philosophy to buy the best version of something, rather than potentially needing to upgrade later and get stuck paying twice. But for my use case, I’m not outputting in 4K (it just adds strain to the CPU on the camera and increases heat), and I wouldn’t get any benefit from 4K. When you do a Zoom conference you get downsized to as little as 360p. Those 360 lines have STUNNING clarity (very noticeably better than a webcam), but there’s no discernable benefit to 4K. Right now the HD60 is actually more expensive than the 4K camlink, but I don’t think that’s normal. I might get the HD60 instead if I had it to do over.
— The hardware can be finicky, and the official Elgato capture utility seems to make it worse. When I first tried setting it up, I had about an hour of panic where I just couldn’t get the Elgato capture utility to recognize a signal from my camera. And then after trying a million things to fix it, when finally I got a signal it flickered in and out. I thought at the time it was a loose cable connection on the camera, and I kept wiggling it and unplugging and plugging it, but in hindsight I doubt that was the issue, because the problems completely vanished the instant that I tried using other capture software (OBS, Zoom, etc…), and the video quality has been 100% stable and reliable ever since. The Elgato utility is completely unnecessary. I do still have the issue, though, that EVERY time I restart my PC, there is an error recognizing the stick as a USB device, and I have to unplug and plug it back in. Might be a unique issue with my motherboard, but it’s an annoyance. I wouldn’t be surprised if the HD60 was more reliable.
DSLR picture quality to stream live, so is a huge advantage on picture quality
I’ve got this product to use with my Sony cameras, they are all compatibles, Sony FDR-AX700, A7, A6400.
Only a Panasonic DC-FT7 tough camera didn’t work, but it was because it wasn’t compatible with video pass through to HDMI, so when watching at the picture gallery I have the HDMI video output working,but when in camera mode the HDMI was disable by default, so no image.
It will not be the same as using a webcam, you’ll need to play with latency and you may need to do a few tweaks to made work perfectly, but it offer you the chance to use your DSLR picture quality to stream live, so is a huge advantage on picture quality

Versand und Lieferung war sehr schnell, Inhalt sehr praktisch und bersichtlich. HDMI mini zu Hdmi normal ist nicht dabei nur USB verlngerung. Verwende es mit einer Canon Legria HF Kamera und einer Canon 5D also super spitze alles. 1 Stern abzug weil wir so ca. 2 bis 3 Stunden bertragen und das Gert dann Warm wird, macht mir bissl Angst aber noch nichts passiert. Bin aber so zufrieden dass ich ein 2 tes auch schon bestellt habe fr Livestream mit 2 Kameras. Fr jede Kamera braucht man 1x Elgato Stick. Mit Windows 10 sofort erkannt und durch USB 3.1 sehr schnell im Einsatz. Alles toll
This is an excellent piece of kit. This allows you to connect your compatible DSLR camera to your PC for use with OBS or SteamObs or another steaming/filming application. It enabled your DSLR as a webcam.
It’s easy to setup, and the drivers are downloadable at Elgato, once installed you pick the device as you would a webcam, and off you go.
It comes with a short USB cable in-case you can’t get it into the USB port due to the spacing.
There is no HDMI lead included which is a little annoying so ensure you have one or buy one.

Camlink/ Windows Instabil, je nach onboard genutztem USB Port am hochwertigen Asus z170 Motherboard mit hochwertigem Netzteil.
Wiederkauf: Empfehle ich nur Menschen, die Zeit haben sich mit der Materie zu beschftigen und sehr hohe Video-Qualitt brauchen. Andere sollten lieber in eine teurere Webcam investieren.

I already have the Elgato 4k capture card in my battle station for video editing. Needed to go live on FB for a client using a decent camera and the Camlink worked perfectly, so much so I have to leave it behind for the setup and I have to buy another!

Die Lieferung und Verpackung waren in Ordnung. Es wurde viel Gutes ber das Teil geschrieben. Kann ich nur besttigen. CamLink wurde bei mir mit folgenden Teilen positiv getestet, auch zum Streamen. Lumix G9, Lumix FZ1000, GoPro Gero3+ und Sony HX50. Alles perfekt. Software war OBS im Einsatz. Volle 5 Sterne.
Funktioniert erstklassig
Nach dem Auspacken funktionierte der Elgato Cam Link 4k sofort und ohne Installation von Treibern oder Software. Wer mchte kann wie empfohlen das Capture-Tool von Elgato installieren. Das ist allerdings nicht unbedingt notwendig, da die Kamera ber den Cam Link auch ohne besondere Software in Video-Tools wie OBS-Studio oder Videochats einbinden lsst. Sehr schn ist, dass auch eine kurze USB-Kupplung beiliegt, so dass man bei Notebooks den Stick nicht direkt an den USB-Anschluss stecken muss.

Moyen trs simple et efficace pour connecter un DSLR a un PC. J’utilise l’adaptateur plusieurs heures par jour durant des vido confrence et webinars via Microsoft Teams avec ma camra Canon XC10.
Aucun problme de compatibilit. La qualit d’image trs correcte et le dbit raisonnable. Bon rapport qualit prix et surtout pas de casse tte d’installation.

Hervoragender HDMI Grabber!
Der CamLink liefert zuverlssig Bilder in einer ausgezeichneten Qualitt (und im Gegensatz zu anderen Produlten auch tadellosen Farben). Alle Bildraten werden sauber durchgereicht. Ich habe nur Auflsungen bis 1080p getestet, kann also nicht zu 4k Aufnahmen sagen. Diese funktionierten aber alle tadellos.
Auf dem Mac funktioniert der CamLink sehr gut mit dem Quicktime-Player (720p und 1080p) zusammen. Dieser liefert dann Ausgangsdaten im ProRes-Format, die sauber in Final Cut (Pro) weiter verarbeitet werden knnen.
Alternativ kann man auch OBS verwenden, dieses hat mir aber aufgrund schlechterer Bilddarstellung und mehr notwendigen Einstellungen (z.B. Framerates) lange nicht so gut gefallen. Fr Streamer aber sicher das Mittel der Wahl. Im Notfall kann man auch die Elgato App verwenden, ich fand diese aber etwas undurchsichtig und funktional eingeschrnkt.

Habe das Gert zur Verwendung mit einer Sony Alpha 6000 als Webcam gekauft. Als Software verwende ich OBS-Studio. Um eine gute, ruckelfreie und verzgerungsfreie Qualitt hin zu bekommen bedarf es aber einiger Spielerei an der Konfiguration – was aber vermutlich nichts mit dem Cam Link zu tun hat (denn jetzt funktioniert alles perfekt).
Hin und wieder erhlt man ein schwarzes Bild – dann muss OBS neu gestartet werden. Auch hier kann ich nicht sagen, wo die Schuld liegt.
Ich wrde wieder das selbe Gert kaufen.

Very cool gadget. Not really compatible with Canon 600D but I still managed to live stream a event. Just do some research first of you want to use this for a 600D or similar models.
Wirklich ein super simples und gut durchdachtes Konzept. Einfach per USB anschlieen, HDMI Kabel an die Kamera und ab geht’s. Fr mich zum Streamen mit Webcam, bzw Kamera optimal und nicht mehr weg zu denken.
So kann ich unglaublich viele Einstellungen treffen vllig anders als im Vergleich vorher mit der normalen Webcam.
Bin sehr zufrieden.
This was a very easy to use tool.
I have a Panasonic GX80 that I paired with the elgato to turn it into a video input into OBS for high quality live recording.
Unfortunately, whilst recording at 1080p, after a short while of recording the resolution down scales quite significantly.
My computer is more than capable of 4k live recording and heavily loaded multitasking.
This is either an issue with OBS or with the Elgato. As I am not sure which it is, I gave 4 stars. I didn’t want to give it less as I’m sure with some tweaking the issue can be overcome.
But a 5 star product is one that is optimised out of the box and doesn’t require the user to do a bunch of homework and tweaking.
I use these to livestream go pros in a radio station, there ok, sometimes they don’t get recognised by the pc and they tend to slip out of the usb port if you have a heavier hdmi cable attached, you do get a 10cm extention cable, but that doesn’t really help. they run hot when in use and then become glitchy, requiring a plug out and in again. at 1080 p, this can produce 4:2:2 color (10 bit)
at 4k, this unit can produce 4:2:0 color (8 bit)
Visual difference is definitely noticeable, but if you do not need high-end video in 4k, this will suffice. it certainly is cheaper than having Video monitor with recording capabilities for my Nikon Z6, which works miracles with this unit. With the configuration, Z6 can be sending signals for more than 30 minutes, just need to figure out how to send power to it for longer periods.

I actually bought the camlink not for hooking up a camera as a webcam but to capture my games from my consoles etc.
i must say i didnt expect it to work this well.

Video output was clear and had a very low latency
i had no issue setting up the video output to obs
i had problems with audio stuttering at first but it turns out it was just a bad usb port, so switching usb port solved the problem
just to be safe i hooked up a DSLR to the cam link and it worked just as well

Does everything what I was looking for to connect my DSLR on my PC and that can be able to record 4K. I am an Elgato person, I do have the Elgato 4K HD60 Pro PCIe and the Elgato Stream Deck XL, Elgato never disappointed me when is about quality, it delivers what it says. If you are looking to get a proper quality while streaming or even live chat is great.

La utilizo para hacer streamings con una DSRL Nikon D3200 y con el software OBS.
Conecte a la compu (Macbook air) y a la camara e inmediatamente OBS detecto mi camara. Es importante mencionarte que esta capturadora solo funciona en computadoras o portatiles con USB 3.0 (color azul) Es algo que muchas reseas no dicen.

Lsung zu 1.
Funktioniert prima mit dem HDMI Glasfaserkabel von FEIZLINK (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07R1T1RMB/ref=twister_B07R44XNJ9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). Dieses Kabel hat die notwendigen Wandler schon eingebaut (in den Steckern!) und bentigt keine externe Stromversorgung fr den Betrieb der Wandler. Wichtig ist daher, dass alle zwischen dieses Kabel geschaltete HDMI-Teilnehmer auch die gem. HDMI-Spezifikation festgelegten +5V am Pin #18 ausgeben. Da das aber nicht alle Hersteller machen, dafr ist das LINDY 41080 entwickelt worden!
Lsung zu 2. und 3.:
Sofern Euer PC unter Windows 10 luft, ist das Super easy mit dem CAM LINK 4K von ELGATO zu machen (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07K3FN5MR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Bentigt keinen Treiber und die notwendige Software kann kostenfrei ber die ELGATO Website bezogen werden. Einziger Knackpunkt: der HDMI-Eingang des CAM LINK 4K stellt ber Pin #18 seiner HDMI-Buchse keine +5V zur Verfgung! Das ist bei einer direkten HDMI-Verkabelung von einer einer echten HDMI-Quelle ber Kupferkabel auch normalerweise nicht notwendig. Schwieriger wird das, wenn dazwischen ein HDMI-Switch liegt oder man auch – wie ich – ein Glasfaserkabel fr die bertragung nutzt, welches fr den Betrieb ohne externe Stromversorgung ausgelegt ist.
Mit dem LINDY 41080 konnte ich meine bertragungsstrecke (siehe BIld) problemlos aufbauen. Cooles Teil!
Great product, little expensive unless you are serious about streaming
The Camlink is great! It does what it says and does it well. Price is a little high but that’s soon forgotten when your DSLR is converted to your webcam and you look super professional.

Plugs in and installs without admin privileges which is really helpful as I work for a Corporate Company.
Image is clear as a bell but occasionally goes pink! Unplug and plug back in and it sorts itself out.
The USB extension is a handy piece of kit to prevent bent and broken cables.
Also works when connecting another computer to the HDMI port and displays that screen as a webcam. A little choppy but didn’t think it would work!

Come ho spiegato nel video di prova, l’installazione praticamente immediata e l’utilizzo lo anche di pi. Con Fujifilm X-T3 mi bastato collegare il microfono ed tutto partito facilmente.
Attenzione sempre alla qualit del cavo: un cavo economico pu compromettere un buon sistema di streaming. L’utilizzo praticamente immediato e converte qualsiasi dispositivo capace di mandare segnali video su HDMI in un dispositivo di streaming. Praticamente i campi di applicazione sono infiniti, una possibilit eccezionale.
I was excited to get this, hooking my new DSLR up to the computer.
I connected it, i saw it, but it kept freezing after a few seconds to minute. I read up on the issue, it was something to do with USB 3.0 not having enough bandwidth or something. I moved it to other ports, worked longer, but still froze up.
I used a powered USB 3.0 Hub, same issues.
With more research, i found out you need a PCIe Card that gives you a USB 3.0 to use it.
This was not mentioned in the product site etc. I find this ridiculous that i need a special card to use this on my computer, which is not a low end PC at all.
I ended up connecting my DSLR to a Internal Capture card instead. I will keep the product to test on my Ultra Gaming PC and see if the same issue is there.
There was no other issue with this product and i just want this review to be a warning to anyone looking to buy this product, to have an internal or external card you can use, or to buy the PCIe USB 3.0 card to go in your computer.

Wenn Du Deine Kamera fr die entsprechende Software als Webcam erkennbar machen mchtest, kommt man um einen Adapter dieser Art nicht herum. Preis ist wirklich gut im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern. Einfache Handhabe durch Plug and Play. Wrde ich wieder kaufen.

Can provide you with very very high quality WebCam for little money
It’s a great device, I would just wish the diagnostics and advice were a bit better when running across problems.
I’m a professional photographer with good lenses and I have to say that it’s a pleasure using my main camera as a webcam.

Very simple and basic to use and ap far, have had no issues with it.
If you are using obs, works great with it but sometimes you may need to just toggle the camera on and off if it does not show once you start the program.

cercavo una scheda di acquisizione video affidabile, di marca ma compatta per gestire piccole dirette esterne monocamera con un pc portatile e senza spendere una fortuna in schede thunderbolt o altro, questa schedina non fa invidia a nessuna di queste anzi si comporta fin troppo bene! consiglio di installare i driver camlink forniti dal sito web e anche di usare la mini prolunga usb3 fornita in dotazione in quanto la chiavetta scalda parecchio e se collegata direttamente potrebbe danneggiare le singole usb del pc, con la prolunghina nessun problema.

Ich verwende das Produkt mit einer fullhd 60fps Kamera. Das Bild vom camlink sah gut aus, wirkte aber irgendwie etwas ruckelig. Nach langem Googlen habe ich dann einfach mal einen anderen USB 3.0 Port weiter oben auf dem Mainboard ausprobiert und das Bild war sofort deutlich flssiger.
Eine Software die mich auf dieses Problem hinweist wre super gewesen. Bestimmt haben sher viele Nutzer dieses Problem und merken es nichtmal.

Viene riconosciuto velocemente da windows pu essere utilizzato in tutte le applicazioni che prevedono l’utilizzo di sorgenti audio/video.
Funziona anche sui moderni dispositivi android, con l’apposita app (es. CameraFi Live).

Ottimo prodotto, funziona indifferentemente con segnali progressivi o interlacciati e non richiede installazione di driver. Aunque su precio pueda parecer un poco elevado para aquellos que no estn muy metidos en el mundo de las emisiones de video, su facilidad de uso no es comparable con ningun otro producto. Enchufar el dispositivo a un puerto USB 3 (importante que sea 3) y conectar un cable HDMI a tu dispositivo de entrada de video y listo, sin ningun tipo de configuracin o instalacin adicional.
This capture device works well and is very easy to use. No drivers to install on win10. Works well with just about any software such as OBS. Unfortunately since it doesn’t do true 4k output (4k60hz) it isn’t the device to use for someone trying to run a streaming channel on youtube. However, for an amateur tooling around like me, it’s very nice. Any HDMI video source will work well, but it will downsample proper 4k to either 4k30 or 1080p60. You get what you pay for, and this thing is pretty cheap at just over a hundred bucks right now.
Image quality is FAR better than the other USB3 HDMI video capture adapters that I’ve tried. I’m using it with a trinocular microscope to record soldering. The scope has a 1080p60 ccd so it’s perfect for my purposes. Cheaper HDMI capture devices tend to result in overly compressed crummy looking video. Not with this device.
So to sum it up.
1. It doesn’t get any easier than this device as far as actually using it. Literally plug it in and use whatever software you want.
2. Quality is excellent. No noticeable compression artifacts in the output video.
3. It doesn’t do true 4k (4k60) but if you can live with 1080p60 or 4k at half framerate then this thing is just fine.
I couldn’t find any usb3/thunderbolt3 capture devices that would do proper 4k. At the moment, I think this device is the best you can do without a desktop/pcie card based capture device.

Er erfllt seine Funktion, zeigt eine gute Qualitt und ist leicht anschliebar.

I have trouble reading “Elgato” without hearing it in Jack Black’s voice. Of course, who wouldn’t want to? They are the brand name to beat in this area, and I don’t think anyone quite has apart from price. This is listed as 4K compatible, but you probably won’t want to use it for that resolution because it is capped at 30 FPS, much like 4K output from many USB-C devices or lower cost HDMI cables. For 4K, I would go with an internal card Elgato.
But, this is a “cam link,” and it does that brilliantly. What makes it so great is that it does not require drivers and works with basically any software, including the software built into Windows or voice chat. The ability to use a DSLR or super zoom style camera for these tasks instead of a webcam is empowering. It can also be used, as I prefer, to record straight to a drive for video production, and just using the camera’s SD card as a backup. Paired with a wireless receiver, this makes for a portable high quality video stream.
Regardless of how you use it, this is a good choice, assuming you do not need 4K60FPS. I have used some bottom bin alternatives and they are more hit-and-miss with software compatibility and can overheat.
Ich bin eigentlich durch Zufall auf dieses Produkt gestoen und im Grunde genommen hat es genau das getan was es soll.ich stecke ber das HDMI Kabel meine Kamera ein und schon wird das Bild auf jedem gngigen Webcamprogramm (Manycam oder YouCam) angezeigt. Das Kamerabild wird so dargestellt, wie man es zum Beispiel auf dem Bildschirm der Sony Alpha 6000 sieht. Wichtig ist hier, auf der Herstellerseite nachzuprfen wie lang man Videos aufnehmen kann. Bei manchen Kameras lsst sich die abschalt- Automatik nicht komplett ausschalten.
ein paar Kleinigkeiten lassen sich dann jedoch bemngeln. Ob es wirklich gut ist seine Spiegelreflexkamera beispielsweise als Webcam zu nutzen ist fraglich. Meine wird unheimlich warm, so warm, dass der Sensor irgendwann die Kamera zum abschalten zwingt. Ebenso der Cam Link Stick wird meines Erachtens nach unangenehm warm. Er lsst sich noch anfassen allerdings frage ich mich wie lange das im Dauerbetrieb wirklich gut geht.
Ansonsten hat das Gert alles was der Hersteller verspricht. Man steckt ein und es funktioniert, so muss das sein, ohne lstige Software oder sonstiges. von meiner Seite kann ich also eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

Me encant, pues simplemente conect mi camara Sony A5100 y me la reconoci inmediatamente, lo use para transferir imagen de la camara a la macbook y de ahi por stream via OBS en facebook live. Recomiendo ampliamente este producto, si te gusta la practicidad y calidad al mismo tiempo.

I’ve tried a bunch of internal capture cards over the years, but I’ve never used USB ones before. I needed something for my laptop, though, so I can live stream and Skype when I’m travelling away from home with something better quality than the built-in webcam.
I’ve been toying with the idea of one of these for a while, so when the discount came on Prime Day I decided to go for it. It arrived yesterday, and in my quick tests it works great. Plugged it into my Windows 7 desktop, and it didn’t require any drivers be installed, it just worked. Sort of. It does work, but it’s quite laggy on Windows 7 (even with USB 3) – although Elgato doesn’t claim it works with Windows 7, so this was better than I’d hoped for.
Plugging it into my Windows 10 ASUS ZenBook Pro, though, also no need to download any drivers or software, just plugged it in, hooked up my DSLR, but this time it worked really well. Super smooth video and captures just fine in Skype and OBS.
Glad I finally took the plunge.
Had an issue with my shipment but finally got myself a cam link and im very happy about how easy it was to instal and use. Hardware automatically installs and its easy to set up on obs. i now use my a6000 as a webcam and it looks amazing!

Ottimo prodotto, lo abbiamo comprato per poter fare le dirette YouTube con la nostra macchina fotografica. E’ un Mese che lo utilizziamo e sembra davvero buono, unica pecca, non so se dipende dal prodotto o da YouTube, ogni tanto bisogna riavviare il computer perch i due dispositivi non si vedono pi .
Lo utilizo con mi cmara sony A6000, el sistema lo considera como una cmara web solo que la calidad es mucho mejor, lo utilizo con el editor OBS estudio para realizar grabaciones de cursos y me permite grabar la pantalla junto con una miniatura de la camara lo que me ahorra mucho tiempo de edicion ya que anteriormente grababa por separado.
En un principio lo quera devolver ya que no lograba establecer ms de 30 segundos de captura. Haba mucho uso de HDD/SSD del 100% que no era normal. En mi caso crea que los controladores estaban actualizados pero no. Una vez actualizado, en el administrador de dispositivos ya estaba como conectado en un puerto USB 3.0 y problema solucionado. Us dos cmaras Nikon D3200/D5200 que por cierto slo permiten el “live view” por 30 minutos. Ambas cmaras tienen salida limpia por HDMI.

Acquisisce e fa streaming impeccabilmente
Mi sono fidato di altre recensioni, ho acquistato il prodotto ed esprimo un pieno apprezzamento, sia per l’acquisizione audio-video, sia per lo streaming: in entrambi i casi si comportato egregiamente, senza mai dare problemi. L’ho testato utilizzandolo in riprese per due giorni di seguito. Molto utile il piccolo cavo di prolunga di collegamento USB 3 al Computer, per non attaccarlo direttamente ad esso, con il rischio di prendere colpi e rompersi.
Cet appareil n’est pas vraiment une carte de capture classique, en effet, il prend la forme d’une grosse cl usb qui dispose d’un port HDMI femelle d’un cot et d’une prise USB3 mle de l’autre. (attention le dbit de donnes est assez important, donc ne l’utiliser pas sur un port usb 2.0 ou usb 1.0). Il est livr avec un petit cble de rallonge mle/femelle qui permet qu’il ne soit pas en porte–faux (si vous l’utiliser sur un ordinateur portable, la cl va reposer sur le bureau).
Un des gros avantages de cet appareil, c’est que ds qu’il est branch, pas besoin d’installer des drivers : Je l’ai test sous windows 10 dans divers logiciels : Discord, Xsplit, OBS sans aucun problmes, la camra est immdiatement reconnue (attention, toutefois toutes les camras/appareils photo ne sont pas compatibles, vous pouvez consulter la liste sur le site d’elgato). La fluidit est parfaite, cet appareil prend la dfinition 4k (pour peu que votre camra/appareil photo puisse grer cette dfinition).
Si on excepte la dformation inhrente la conception mme de la gopro, cet appareil est trs pratique, il vous permet de profiter d’une qualit suprieure votre webcam, voir d’utiliser des filtres ou des objectifs si vous utilisez un appareil photo.
note : je l’ai test avec 2 camras “tectectec”, a ne marche pas avec la xpro2 mais a marche aussi avec la xpro4

Videocamera riconosciuta immediatamente dal pc, nessun problema di driver, compatibilit ecc…funziona con qualsiasi dispositivo di ripresa che abbia un ingresso hdmi.
La parte usb va collegata al pc mentre l’hdmi al dispositivo.
Una volta accesa la videocamera possibile, mediante software, vedere nel pc quello che sta vedendo la videocamera. E’ necessario solamente che la videocamera sia accesa, anche senza registrazione attivata.
Questa chiavetta trasforma ogni apparato di ripresa in “webcam”

Fr eine gute Qualitt bentigen Sie einen guten Prozessor(Pentium i5 oder i7) und und eine hochwertige Videokarte.
In meinem Fall ich habe nur Pentium i3 und normale Videokarte und bei mir hatte nicht Funktioniert. Ich habe dieses Produkt auf einem Laptop fr Spiele ausprobiert und es hat super funktioniert.Fr mich eine performante Laptop zu kaufen war zu teuer und ich musste es zurckschicken.
Me parece un poco caro, y para lo caro que es podra venir con un alargador un poco ms largo. Vas a necesitar un cable hdmi bastante largo (2m) si tienes el ordenador bajo la mesa.
Viene el cam link, un alargador USB de unos 10 o 15 cm, y una pegatina de Elgato.
En mi caso lo enchuf, instal el software desde la web de Elgato y al enchufar la cmara y configurar la resolucin, funciona bien y no me quejo.

I bought this is I can use my Dslr as a webcam on my pc for recording face cam on YouTube. It works fantastic, just plug a hdmi to Hdmi mini cable form this into the camera and the pc instantly recognises the dlsr as a webcam.
You can go wrong with elgato products. I also have the elgato HD60s and that has ran faultless for over a year.

Using this with my Canon SL2, I'm now ditching my Logitech Brio -- even if I'm outputting at 1080p, the quality of the image coming out of a properly-configured DSLR outshines that of even the supposedly "best" consumer 4K camera on the market (which I've also tweaked settings to make it look the best it can). I didn't have to install any drivers for this to work, but I admit I already have some other Elgato products, namely the HD 60S, so maybe that's why. Bottom line is, this works great, it's worth the money, just make sure you've got good spare USB3 bandwidth to make it run (if you don't, it simply won't connect -- it's not playing nice with all of my USB ports.)

Tolles Produkt alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Lieferung wie gewohnt schnell und zuverlssig. Die Verpackung des Cam Link ist edel. Verbindung mit pc und anderen Gerten ist problemlos. Dieses Produkt vereinfacht das aufnehmen und Livestreamen. Der Elgato Cam Link 4k macht aus meiner Sony A7III oder anderen vergleichbaren Kameras eine high end Webcam mit allen Vorteilen einer DSLR/DSLM. Alle getesteten Programme wie Obs Studio erkennen den Cam Link. Das Produkt ist Top und eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
En principio un producto til y bueno para los que necesitan. El mio he tenido que hacer hoy la devolucin porque me salia la pantalla verde tras conectarlo en mi canon 80d. He comprobado varios cables de hdmi y no he tenido suerte. En la tele y pc salia la pantalla limpia sin el CamLink. El servicio de ElGato han contestado bastante rpido, pero muy lentos en solucionar el problema por eso tena que hacer la devolucin. No hay servicio tecnico en castellano.

Che dire pi plug and play di cos non si pu! Connessa e non serve neppure scaricare il driver (windows 10). Tutti i programmi che uso mi vedono la mia sony AX53 come una webcam, quindi le mie “Conf Call” fatte con webex/gotomeeting/skype/etc… assumono una qualit video e audio top e imparagonabile rispetto le tradizionali webcam. Certo che non proprio a buon mercato… ma la qualit a volte si paga…
Nel corso del tempo, ho realizzato diversi video e live steaming su diverse piattaforme online come YouTube e Twitch: sono per un perfezionista e punto ad una qualit alta, quindi ho sentito la necessit di abbandonare le webcam per quanto la mia Logitech Brio 4k abbia un’ottima qualit.
Grazie all’Elgato Camlink 4k, ora posso finalmente utilizzare la mia Sony Alpha 6000L come webcam tramite il software fornito da Elgato: la qualit ora di gran lunga superiore e non potrei mai pi tornare indietro. Un oggetto di questo tipo ha il suo costo ma fa ci che promette e lo fa anche molto bene.
Consigliato a tutti coloro che vogliono fare un salto di qualit impressionante.
Le plus important c’est de bien utiliser le petit cble USB3 fournit avec le petit boitier cordair Elegato cam link 4K.
j’ai essay avec un autre cble neuf plus long usb 3, l’image se fige au bout de 10 secondes.
avec le logiciel elegato game capture, vous pouvez enregistrer en 1080p maxi.
avec le logiciel elegato 4k capture vous pouvez enregistrer en 2160p (4k). sans aucun problme.
Klappt wunderbar mit einer GoPro Hero 7. Kann die GoPro nun als Webcam verwenden; wird von Windows 10 sogar ohne Treiber nun als Webcam erkannt.
Teuer ist das gute Produkt jedoch schon…
Neat solution for 4k 30fps
This is an amazing device, considering how small it is, producing 4k fps. The thing does got quite hot in use, so I hope it won’t burn out over time. OBS works fine but you can’t use it even as a 1080p in the game capture software, which is a pity. I already own a couple of HD60s, but this is handy as a webcam enabler for my DSLR.
The 4k capture utility is nowhere as functional as the game capture software.

Elgato ha ottimi prodotti e tutto funziona alla perfezione. Bartolini pare abbia invece tentato di distruggermi il prodotto, dato che ho trovato scatola esterna e interna con un bel buco, fortunatamente dentro tutto intatto.
La scheda funziona perfettamente su skype ma non per VMIX SD, per farla funzionare dobbiamo acquistare VMIX HD o 4K che per me ha un costo troppo elevato, l’ ho dovuta rendere.
