I am so pleased with this phone, since it has been in use, I’ve not had one nuisance call, I was constantly having the calls before which was so annoying. The phone is also very easy to set up.
Definitely a 5* purchase.
So far this has fixed the fake "Hello this is Ama-zon" calls...
Bought this because we were being plagued by nuisance robocalls first thing in the morning and early evening. BT Call Protect just seems unable to keep up with the callerid spoofing these scammers use. Easy to setup – we put in family contacts and marked them as VIPs. We have been adding other genuine callers as and when they call. On the second day, the handset showed that it had intercepted 4 calls from scammers and the phone hadn’t rung and we hadn’t been bothered. So so far does what it claims on the tin. And as a bonus the sound quality is much better than then old BT Wireless phones it replaced.

Excellent phone! Purchased 7 months ago and haven’t had to endure a nuisance call since. We have any number not on our contacts list set to ‘Announce’ which has the scammers hanging up and if any do slip through there is a nice satisfying ‘Block’ button. I told my elderly Mum about the phone and she asked me to order one for her too, she too is very happy with it. Would definitely reccommend.
Wish I’d bought one sooner!
I got so fed up of answering nuisance calls very early in the morning, and finding out that they were from abroad! Also receiving unsolicited calls from call centres. After 3 calls at 7am enough was enough so I bought these. Spent an hour or so putting in phone numbers (which linked to all phones, unlike my last set of phones) and sat back. So many calls have been blocked – wonderful. People who need to speak to you can announce themselves and you can choose to accept or not, so no reason to miss important calls
Wish I’d bought one sooner.
After looking at seperate phone call blockers etc, I decided to get integrated phone and call blocking.
This didnt work out bad as most of those seperate devices are knocking around 50 quid mark for decent features. Once the phones were setup and phone numbers entered (thats the painful part), it at least shares any updates to numbers with each handset.
Good news is now when I’ve checked the phone occassoinally, I see its done the job and blocked calls with not even a murmur, so no more pesky scam calls with witheld numbers or whatever. If the number is in the phone, it goes straight through and if not, it asks them to name themselves before ringing and gives you the choice of answering, voicemail or simply blocking.
I reckon if you have older relatives who get stressed with these nuisance calls, this would be a great investment in making their day calmer!
Overall good features, and usability. Sound is fine (slightly hissing sometimes, but you get that with even the best dect phones), so happy I got them.
great phone
bought as a replacement for my mums phone. The call blocking feature is very good and helps reduce the volume of junk calls she receives.
Operation is straightforward.
Only minor quibble is base station doesn’t show number of messages received. These are shown on the handset but not as easy to see as a LED display on base station.
Good looking spam call beate
Love this phone, keeps all the telesales and scam people away while legitimate callers get through. It wont ring on your end till callers have identified themselves and when they do you can add them to the safe (always allowed through without a challenge ) list. Or you can simply reject the call, for 99% of unwanted callers you don’t even hear the phone ring.. great tool.
Blocking unwanted calls
Bought to replace an older BT model with Truecall, the Truecall call blocking system is truly superb and has prevented many dozens of unwanted calls. We can see on the handset any calls that did not connect and the system has screened out callers who were generally scammers or unsolicited sales people. Only very minor downside is that friends who are Ex Directory (even with their number programed in to the handset) cannot be identified by the system and they have to go through the screening process each time they call. Very small price to pay which is outweighed by the dozens of calls screened out.
Just what I needed
I had had my previous phone for at least 12 years and the battery would no longer charge well.
The caller’s voice would often become distorted as well.
This is simple to set up and use. Sound really good and at last, any answerphone messages can be heard clearly.
Bonus is the Tru-call system that is built in that blocks any unknown callers automatically.
Phone replaceme
We bought this phone set as a replacement for my Mum’s older BT True Call set. Very easy to set up and works well.Only minor criticism is that the new bland digital visual display is not as colourful or easy to read for my 94 year old Mum as the BT True Call set it replaced.
This is a nice looking landline phone, with big buttons that are easy to press; perfect for my mother-in-law to use.
Everything is included in the box to use it straight away.
The only disappointment with the one I purchased, which was advertised as new, is that it was clearly used / refurbished. There was evidence of dust or buffering powder on it, as if it’s been polished up. There were also slight scuff marks on it from use, which match up with the lines of the dock, plus a big scratch on the bottom of the base. Had I wanted a used one, I could have ordered it for half the price.

Got this to try and block all the scam calls. Took the time to add all my contacts and set up the blocking rules (the instructions are clear and easy to follow)
No unwanted calls from the start- a few wanted calls needed to announce prior to getting through but they are quickly added to allowed list

No more nuisance calls
I’m so happy I finally got to stop all the nuisance calls. This is really simple to set up. Anyone can get through the system but it seems to put off sales calls who have to announce their name before being connected. This simple step stops all of those automated annoying calls and puts off a fair amount of sales teams too, I think their auto diallers can’t get past this little system. You can set up your safe numbers for family and friends but you won’t miss the all important calls if you don’t capture all the numbers who might call you. So glad I invested in this.
Good range
This system functions as described, and has more features than I really need. I haven’t tried the call blocking feature as yet. I am particularly pleased with the directory and the call history feature. Once contact details are entered they are available on all handsets, any changes/edits made on any handset are noted on all. I guess the data is logged on the base station and then called up by any handset as required, this does result in a small spooling delay ad data is recalled, but this is a small price to pay for the convenience. Similarly, the call made/received log is similarly stored. I do get a faint buzz/hum on my system, I have had my service provider check my line and they assure me all is well. It is not obtrusive but it is there.
Purchased for my parents
The main reason for buying this was to reduce the nuisance calls they were receiving and it has been very successful in doing that. The design is modern and the quality seems pretty good. the capacity of calls that can be recorded and blocked is also very good.
Excellent nuisance call barring phone
This very useful phone was recommended to me by a friend who gave me a glowing report of how good it was. I’m so pleased that I took his advice. The phone came with a lengthy manual which should be read first. Having read the first few pages it was easy to setup the phone and add Contacts manually. Further reference to the manual was needed for setting additional features if needed.
Since connecting to our landline we haven’t received any more nuisance calls. Anyone who is bothered by nuisance calls should seriously consider buying this very good value for money phone.
BT phones -3 phones plus docking statio
The phones have plenty of good features built in to them but not very robust and a bit on the quiet side. They should be fitted with a better volume control. Probably the price is just about right but they are not as good as my last Panasonic phones.

I was a bit unsure about ordering these because of a few reviews about sound levels, but this phone is ok as far as I am concerned. I have not used all the features of this phone, but have it on answer phone and announced callers not in my phone book. I am happy with this purchase so far.
Easy to use and great sound
I bought this BT set to replace the Panasonic KX-TGH720EB. The sound on the BT Advance was much louder and clearer. The set was easy to set up and the call blocking simple to use. Very happy with this phone
Quality phone. Easy to install
The package arrived next day and I found installing it (i.,e. replacing the old one) simple although I did have to crawl under the desk to change the power cord because the plugs and sockets are totally different.
My main reason for buying a new phone system was to get better sound quality and this I did.

The sound is not as clear as the other BT phone I had. It’s lists the calls you have had which is good. Haven’t sorted out the blocking feature yet, but will soon.

Bought for my elderly mother and although she dislikes change she soon found this easy to use.

The sound quality is not as clear as could be hoped for and anyone whose eyesight is a bit limited may struggle to see the information displayed on the screen.

We bought the BT Advanced Cordless Phone in the hope that we could stop the constant daily withheld and spam calls telling us they are from “BT Openreach”!
Since we enabled the Call Blocking, bingo no more unwanted calls. Very impressed and it works.

Works exactly as advertised
Quite stylish, easy to set up, easy to use and has many options and useful features. Instant call blocking button is very handy. Automatic transfer of phone book between handsets saves a lot of duplicate work in entering new contacts. Very pleased, a great improvement on previous hands free phones I had.
Very good product at a good price.
On the whole a very good buy. System was easy to program with contacts etc. Liked the way the settings put into one phone were routed to all the other phones automatically. Two small niggles…firstly, the blue light on the bottom of each base unit was a pain as it showed up very much at night…not good in a bedroom. Secondly, there is a slight delay getting a dialling tone when pressing the green button and also when entering numbers. Good value buy though.
Peace and Quie
I had changed my phone and broadband provider and because I didn’t want to go through the parp about of setting up new approved and blocked lists, I took the opportunity to replace my tired old handsets with these BT Advanced.
I bought the twin pack and charged both handsets for the requisite 16 hours before setting them up. The setup itself is very straightforward. I added numbers to the phone book from my contacts list and other family and friends, jotted down somewhere. They were copied straight to the second handset.
Call screening works a treat – anybody in the phonebook comes straight through, whilst anybody else gets intercepted by the screener. The screening is silent, but you do know if a call has been intercepted because it is shown as a missed call. You can review the number and choose whether or not to block it. The answerphone works well, although none of my filtered calls have attempted to leave a message.

Easy set up
Although the instructions look complicated, all you really need to do is enter the time and date on the keypad and then any contact numbers that you receive regularly. Any other callers will have to state who they are and you press to accept. Has reduced those annoying recorded ‘Amazon’ and other scam calls.
The reception on the second phone is slightly fuzzy but not terrible. Not bad for the price and at least the battery life is good.
No more cold callers
With so many cold callers and scam calls each week, I purchased this BT call blocker and it is brilliant. I put in my contacts so they could ring straight through and all other callers have to announce themselves. It has cut down nuisance calls considerably. It comes with three handsets for kitchen, lounge and bedroom so I am always within earshot. The phone can also receive text messages and has a lock facility so that I can put it in my pocket when in the garden without ringing anyone by mistake. Very pleased with my purchase.
Pretty good phones
Still getting to grips with the functions but the call quality seems good and the block button is easy enough. Still not quite as good as a wired phone but not far off.
Stopped nuisance calls immediately
How I wish we had bought this system sooner, as soon as we had set it up the nuisance calls stopped. Putting in the contact information was fairly easy if a bit time consuming but the effort was well worth it for the peace we are now enjoying. The only calls we take are ones we want and so far the quality of the phones has been better than we expected.

Brilliant unwanted call blocker.
This is the second one of these I’ve bought (the first set just packed up but only after years of good service). The system is superb and blocks all unwanted calls. Yes, really, all unwanted calls. If the number ringing you isn’t in your calls log then it’s intercepted and the caller has to give their name! The phone then tells you who they are and you have the chance to answer, block and permanently block the number. Absolutely brilliant. Fully recommended to all. Worth every penny.
Slightly disappointed
I’m happy with the ease of installation and look of the phones but disappointed with the quality of the sound. They appear to be very quiet on the majority of calls. I always check the volume is up on each call but mostly use the loud speaker to hear the caller fully. People have also said to me that I sound faint. I don’t have a hearing problem and had no problem like this with my previous by phones. Think I will have to contact BT as there is also nothing wrong with my phone line. Shame as all other features are good.
If you are not technically minded not easy to set up.
Not as good quality as my previous purchase of 5years ago. Light weight, this may suit some people but I find it easy to drop.This is my reason for only four stars.

No more scam calls, this phone has been great, only people in our list can get straight through, and if others are important they’re happy to say who they are. We’ve had no scam calls since getting this.

Purchased this after an incident with a very pushy cold caller/scammer who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Before installing this phone I would get 2-3 calls a week automated calls, “I had been in an accident” and “you have been charge 79 for your Amazon account”, the last one happens once a month! Since using the True Call feature this has stopped. The only way to speak to me now is either being on the call list or announcing who you are.
Adding numbers to the call list is easy and it has provision for Home and Mobile entries for the same contact so no more adding separate entries for “Ian Home” and “Ian Mobile”. Added 90% of frequent callers in about 10 minutes, the rest I can add as they call using a feature to create contacts on answering the call.

Does the job 100% reduction in junk calls
Like most people we were getting fed up of most calls being junk or scam. Decided to give these a go. Despite being a bit fiddly to setup they were so worth it in the end. Absolutely NO junk calls since these were installed.

It works very well
I am very pleased with this. It really does cut out all nuisance calls and works very well. Just two minor gripes: I would’ve preferred it if, when answering incoming calls, it automatically connected and you didn’t have to go to the bother of pressing the green button. And it would’ve been more convenient if you could save the setting for the handset sound at the volume you want, instead of it returning to the default setting.

My old land-line was well past its best, so I opted for the BT Advanced Cordless Home Phone with 100 Percent Nuisance Call Blocking and Answering Machine, Trio H Our previous landline was this system’s predecessor and because I was so pleased with that one, I decided to go for the upgraded one this time. No regrets, great phone.
Successfully blocks nuisanace calls
Bought these as a replacement for my elderly mother’s olds handsets. Chosen based upon good reviews and call blocker feature, wishing to prevent nuisance calls. Programming in all of her contacts was time consuming but necessary for call filtering feature to work. Unknown numbers are flagged up so one can decide whether to take the call or not whilst those of known contacts programmed into the phone are allowed through. Does exactly what I want it to do. Recommended.
A really useful scam protection tool
I previously had TrueCall provided by my phone network company. Once switched on we went from 8 nuisance calls per day to zero.
After switching to a phone company who don’t provide TrueCall, I got these phones to continue protection.
The only slight negative observation is that it’s much slower to add all my address book numbers to the phone address book, than it was too copy and paste them into the web TrueCall page provided by my old phone company.
In a future phone it would be nice to be able to Bluetooth numbers across or import them via a USB cable.
Other than that one time admin task, I thoroughly recommend these phones if you are afflicted with nuisance calls
Cordless phones
I am so glad that I bought these phones, as we were receiving every day 4-5 nuisance calls, some scam ones too, up until 8pm in the evenings. I bought these phones ( 3 ) in different rooms of the house. The best ever. I installing the names of family, friends, neighbours etc. into the phone, I know who is calling our house number. So scam caller, and nuisance caller, has NOT used our number at all. It is a godsend. Money worth buying.
Two phones with answer facility.
Well packed items, I plug the main phone with the answer facility into the nearest phone source line and the second in the kitchen which picks up the signal, works well and the speakers are good, no harsh noise.
Pleased phone meets expectations
This is a good looking lightweight phone which is easy to use. I like the fact that phone book and settings are automatically copied to both handsets. since setting it up all nuisance calls have ceased thank goodness
Excellent call barring functionality
Sleek and neat design. Call blocking is a major feature and main reason for purchase. Build quality good. Keys have a firm feel and menu easy to use.
As others have noted, sound quality is rather tinny and best used with hands free. Also calling up list of calls is surprisingly sluggish.
So far pleased with call barring functionality and value the resulting peace from having no unsolicited and nuisance calls. Be prepared to spend a little time training for numbers to block.
Good for stopping nuisance calls
Great for stopping nuisance calls. We haven’t actually needed to block any, they just don’t get through to cause the phone to ring. So, our nuisance calls are now down to zero. Took a little getting use to but overall pretty good. It’s a bit more of a faff to call another phone in the house than our old system but not difficult.
Works perfectly
I bought this set of phones primarily for the call blocking features. I am a Virgin Media customer and I was receiving constant nuisance calls on a daily basis. I’ve found the call blocking to be very effective. Calls from unwanted numbers get completely ignored and the phone does not ring when they are received. There is some initial setup required where you must enter legitimate numbers (from friends, family etc) into the phone to ensure they aren’t blocked. This is very easy to do. The sound quality is fine to me and seems better than it was on my previous Panasonic phones. Yes, this is quite an expensive product but, for me it’s been well worth the price paid.
Does the job I wanted it to do!
I like the Block features – otherwise it does what you want a phone to do. I don’t use the answerphone facility , so I can’t comment. It’s quite chunky which is good for an old chap.

Last well on batteries. Seem to work well so far. Look smart enough but I will the light on the charger is quite bright which if you have one in bedroom it may bother some people like it does my husband, so we have had to cover it with something.
Good BT produc
Good product, but if considering make sure you will not need to upgrade to a 4th handset – its not possible without buying with another (expensive) base unit. However, this is full of features with excellent blocking controls tha really work! Well worth the purchase just for that.
A bit disappointing
I bought these phones because they were recommended by “Which?” but apart from the ease of blocking I find them generally less good to use than the Gigasets they replaced, though they were quite easy to set up. Given the choice again I’d buy Gigaset for preference.
Eliminates unwanted calls
We were receiving unwanted calls regularly. Most were scams – warranty expired, your pc has a virus, your broadband is compromised, Amazon prime trial about expire to name but a few. This product has eliminated them all. You can block numbers so your phone will not ring when called from a blocked number. In addition, if you receive a call from a number not in your contacts (or a withheld number) the caller has to announce who they are then you have to option to accept or refuse the call. Scammers don’t announce so they never get to speak to you. Money well spent – why didn’t I buy this sooner!
stops nuisance calls
I was getting up to 15 calls a day (i do wish they would give up) but since setting up this phone i have had none well worth the money to stop these criminals phoning with bogus calls
Foiled the call scammers!!
Phones are very upright in the base and not easy to read the screen until you get down to eye level to see who the caller is. Also the phones can fall out of the base quite easily. Design would have been much better if the phones leaned back at a slight angle for both stability and better sight line.
Generally pleased with the call blocker feature – have not had 1 unwanted/scam call since buying them and that was our sole reason for upgrading our phones to a call-blocker one .
Good call features ,but too light weight.
We replaced are Bt phones with these Bt advance phones ,which operate and sound very similar to the older model. The call and blocking features are excellent and certainly prevent unwanted phone calls.
The only complaint is the build is somewhat lighter in weight to the older model and does not feel as well made.
Seems to work well.
When I opened the box I thought ‘oh dear’ a lot new to try and understand, however it proved quite easy. I set it up quite quickly and activated the call blocker. Well it works well. Certainly the call blocker is very effective. It does take a while to adjust to responding to new callers, who are not on the allowed list, and to allow or reject their call. But like all new things the more one uses it the easier it gets. On the whole I am very pleased that I bought it.

These phones seem to work really well, we have not had a scam call in the 3 weeks ince we fitted them. There are some issues with some set-up bits, but we get there in the end
Don't waste money on add on gadgets.
This was an update for an old phone of the same model, was showing its age . New model almost he same still blocking ALL unwanted calls, have not received any calls that was unwanted so call guardian works and replacing phones instead of expensive add on gadgets is definitely worth doing and It works.
It does what it says
i was getting a stupid number of unsolicited calls despite being on a telephone preference servicem and they were even getting through my old phone number blocking system due to the callers changing their numbers, using fake local numbers or international callers. My phones remained silent for quite a few days after it installed them which was such a pleasant surprise, and checking all calls I was able to see what had been blocked. Remember to enter all your contacts’ phone numbers so they get straight through to you without having to identify themselves first.
Good looking home phone se
Good looking phones, that replaced a previous BT set. Well-priced for the available options. Top tip – always use the supplied leads with the new set and never be tempted to use the old leads as they are not compatible.
Since I purchased this phone the number of unwanted calls has dropped almost to zero – I say almost as I configured it to allow international calls to come straight through (we have relatives overseas), some calls are being flagged by BT as ‘international’ but the number is in U.K. format so we know they are fake (we also know our relatives’ numbers but they sometimes use a service which withholds the calling number so we need to allow international calls).
The ‘do not disturb’ function is very useful as it only allows calls through from numbers you specify.
Setting up is easy once you get the hang of it but some people may struggle to customise the device away from the default settings.
The let-down is the sound quality but I can live with that – I’m old enough to remember telephone calls before the telephone system was digitised! At the end of the day it’s a telephone, not a hi-fi.

Easy to use .definitely blocks calls. Display a bit small, could have better contrast. One annoying thing is you have to press a button to end end call before replacing handset.
Great Phone Book
One thing that I really like is the contact list.
When your list is entered into the main phone it’s shared to the other two handsets. My last set had my list in only the main handset.
Reduces unwanted phonecalls
I have not had a single unwanted phonecall since getting these phones. You do need to spend a while putting in the numbers you want to allow though.
They have a cheap feel and appearance but work well as phones. Answerphone message was easy to record and is clear.
Not bad but could be bette
Easy to set up (though I had to refer to online instructions to find where you can set the number of rings before answer). Battery life seems good (so far).
My main gripe is just how big the handsets are compared with previous DECT phones I have had. You need plenty of vertical space for the handset in its cradle – it doesn’t share well on small table stands with lamps on them! My other gripe is the limited number of ring tones to select from.
Replacement Triple wireless phone
A needed replacement for an old triple system whose batteries were not holding charge.
The new phone set up was fairly simple but the handbook could have been far simpler. With a BASIC, ADVANCED and SPECIALIST divisions. I have read it twice and will need to re-read several more times to get beyond basic use. The non-base telephones were not registered to the base system despite the voluminous hand book claiming otherwise (whence 4 out of 5 stars). At present I consider that the call blocking/barring system is over emphasized and it is not explained how BT blocking works on a Sky provided telephone line or does that make no difference?
Excellent protection from annoying calls and a decent phone for elderly people to use.
Bought as a present for my mum. She’s on virgin but phones compatible with them. Bought mainly for the nice design and the call blocker service. Would highly recommend as it’s cut nusiense calls from 12 a day to 0. They have to submit a name of who they are before coming through to you and you can at that point chose to accept or reject the call. I also love if the number is on the phone these numbers will be allowed to pass through safely. Love it!!

Excellent phone. Totally blocks unwanted calls but allows saved numbers stored in phone and allows those calling not in the phone book to announce who they are before the call is accepted. An answer phone is also available to leave any messages.
Fine
OK to look at and use. Sound quality is a little crackly but okay at other end of conversation. Cannot get the phone block to work properly as even though we acknowledge a number and accept, it goes through the same process every time that number calls, even though we have accepted previously. Therefore we now don’t have this call monitor switched on, which is a shame as we wanted it. Our last phone had a similar function but once a number had been accepted once, all calls from that number put through automatically from then on. This phone just doesn’t seem to work like that.

I have had these phones before, we had the last one ten years. So I felt I needed an upgrade. I am not disappointed with it performance. It lights up before you answer with the callers name or number so its your choice to answer or not. I had five fraud calls one morning, the first at 7am. Sometimes they come in the night. This phone stops all calls but it is simple to allow numbers to call you. So you can either go through your friends numbers and ” allow” them or wait for them to call and do it then

Good phones and good value. They do everything and more.
Very good phones and good value. When I bought these they were actually cheaper than the lower model. For me they actually do too much but we’re the Best Buy on cost. They are easy to set up if you read the instructions. I particularly liked that you can switch off the various features if you do not want them ie answerphone, call screening, caller display, call blocking can all be switched separately. Call screening is particularly useful as it stops junk calls but allows necessarily withheld numbers to get through. (Eg home workers, your bank, your doctor will use number withhold as they always phone on “outgoing lines only”. Because they still get through but have to announce who they are and their business you can screen junk and automatic junk call centres.
Best way to stop unwanted calls
This is a brilliant piece of equipment and really pleased with it. Stops all those unwanted calls and can be programmed to allow numbers that you known. Beating the scammers.
Cordless home phone
Great little phones, not very robust and design is a bit bland. But they do the job, sound is good, features are good and overall not very expensive.. But design and the feel could be better..
Fantastic purchase
The phones are robust and appear to have been manufactured to a very high standard. No issues with the functionality, the ring and speech functions are sharp and clear. The phone booklet provides a multitude of functions and is daunting. There is much to consider. I can only comment on the basic functionality and I give that a big thumbs up. Annoyingly yet another electrical item made in CHINA.
No nuisance calls !
We bought this because our previous handset was feeling it’s age ! This one has a blocking system ,which means callers have to identify themselves before they can be put through to you . Once you first accept the caller ID friends and family can get through without a problem ,but ,and it’s a big but , people trying to sell things and those trying to scam you do not want to go through the system . The result is not one single nuisance call in 8 weeks !
We recently bought this set to replace an older set of BT phones which we’d had for 6 years and which had had a LOT of use – we have poor mobile signals where we live, and our children don’t have landline phones, only mobiles, so we always have to use our handsets for calling them, and them to us. This puts a lot of strain on the batteries, as our daughters can be on the phone for 1-2 hours at a time.
The main handset battery finally gave up, lasting only a few minutes before the low charge warning went off, so we looked at what was available and felt that this new more modern set but similar to our old ones in functional menus would be ideal.
The new sets are smart, a little more modern in style, and slightly slippery at first due to the smooth surfaces, but everything else is great so far. The call blocking works well (we are with Sky, not BT), and once you have all your numbers in the phone memory (up to 200 separate names, with 2 numbers for each name, plenty for us), then your own contacts can get through immediately, but numbers not in your phonebook have to announce who they are, and if they don’t you can reject the call and block them. If they do say who they are, then you can choose to take the call (press 1) and also to allow their calls through in future.
Earlys days with this new set, but so far we are very happy with them. Tip: if you have two sets, like we do, it makes sense to interchange them from time to time, so that no one set gets all the battery wear. So, we have one in the lounge, and one in the bedroom, but we are swapping them every week or two to spread the battery load, since the lounge set gets by far the most use!
Good solid DECT phone
Overall this is a good DECT phone and answer machine. Features are reasonably easy to use. Audio quality is good, and found no issues with coverage round the house. Main reason we bought this was the integrated phone book. Enter number in one handset and it’s available on all handsets. So annoying on other phones when you have to add to each phone separately.
Probably like most people these days, our smartphones are out main communication device. So only needed basic features. There are more sophisticated phones out there, but unless you rely heavily on landline calls, they aren’t worth the extra cost.
Good value for money
My old phones were probably 20years or more old and so I had to brace “new” technology. However, using the instruction booklet I got there and am enjoying using the phones and accessing left messages etc. I can recommend them to any future buyer.
Ability to easily block unwanted calls
Overall we are pleased with all its options. But what we were not made aware of before making the purchase is that unwanted calls cannot be blocked if they are incoming international calls or where callers have chosen to withhold their number. This means that we still cannot block every unwanted calls. We find “Amazon” in particular just keep using different numbers.
Easy to use phones
These phones (triple set) come with a useful instruction manual and were easy to set up. All the functions we have used have worked well. It’s useful that you only need to update the contact list on 1 phone and the others update automatically. We haven’t tried the call blocking features yet, but it’s it’s good to know they are there in case we need them in the future. My only slight criticism is that the clarity of calls is not quite as good as with the Panasonic phones these have replaced, but is generally perfectly OK.
Xmas present for elderly mothe
Mum says the clarity is excellent, the ring tone really loud and the display very clear. She has mastered the technology really well. so must be fairly simple to use

I LIKE EVERY FEATURE OF THIS SET OF PHONES. IT WAS SO QUICK TO SET UP MY CALL BARRING, LED AND ALLOWED CONTACTS. I WAS PRETTY DETERMINED TO MAKE IT WORK, SO I CHARGED THE PHONES FOR 24 HOURS INSTEAD OF 16 HOURS PRESCRIBED. IT WAS UP AND RUNNING IN NO TIME. i WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO EVERYONE WHO GETS IRRITATED BY NUISANCE CALLS. I DO NOT HESITATE TO PICK UP MY PHONE WHEN IT RINGS NOW. THANK YOU BT.
It works!
Since I got these phones two weeks ago I haven’t had a single nuisance call. The only slight downside is that my second phone, about 10m away from the base unit, and behind a stone wall, has a slightly dodgy connection with it.
Very easy to set up and record your phone numbers in the address book. I got the set of 4 (picture is main phone with the answer machine).
When you type in on one handset and save it, it’s saved on to all of them.

These work better then expected. Very nice and ergonomic to hold. Clear speaker and over all easy to use. Menu structure is simple and easy to use also (inputting contacts is simple)
No more nuisance calls
I work from home, on video calls for most of the day, and usually about 5-6 times a day the phone would ring, sometimes it goes dead when I answer, other times I am patched to a call centre to talk about my accident / loft insulation etc. – these phones have stopped all of that, but if Grandma needs us, she can still get through. Peace and my sanity have been restored.
Flimsy
The phones are light and easy to knock over as they don’t sit into there cradles very well. The volume also is not very loud, which was one of the features that I had hope would be good on these phones. At least they hold the charges well for long conversations.
Amazing - not had one nuisance call since we got these phones!
We were having multiple nuisance calls a day (and we work from home so are there when they come through). My friend recommended this phone and since we plugged it in, we haven’t had one nuisance call. If you have a number stored in the memory, those callers get straight through, otherwise, callers have to announce themselves. This phone is brilliant and well worth the money – highly recommended.
I needed to replace my home phone land line set and these fit the bill. Numbers saved on one phone are automatically save on the other handsets. A blocked number on one again applies to all the handsets. When a nuisance call comes in I don’t have to wait for the call to end I can just press the large block button and then I am asked if I wish to continue. If I miss a call there is a large icon in the centre of tge LED display informing me. I would have no hesitation in recommending.
Does what it says it will.
Seems to do the job. We used to often get calls for a local accountancy firm whose number was similar to ours but the requirement for callers to announce themselves has meant we don’t have to deal with these wrong numbers any more. As regards the fake internet provider calls, don’t seem to have been any recently but am pretty sure the phone will deal with these too. So quite happy with phones so far. As others have said, there is a bit of a delay in getting the contacts and calls listings but it is easy to set up contacts, allowed calls, blocked numbers and the answerphone.
