All about storage
Bought as means to archive data and files off-site offline ass old HDDs were starting to fail. Explaining Computers showed a good backup strategy.
Build quality is good but the half gloss half matte finish is like marmite, you either like it or not.
What was important for me is the large capacity 14Tb as I needed to archive contents off multiple HDDs that were starting to have problems.
Read/write speeds are ok for storage and access when required.
Overall satisfied for own needs.
Decent hard drive and works with mac and pc
Good hard drive, reasonably quick to transfer and use. Works with mac and windows out the book and has a dmg file for full mac installation. Standard file type is exfat which seemed a bit unusual to me but it works well for me

This is s truly awesome product. Extremely large capacity storage for not crazy money, so what’s not to like? Well, the humming is not to like. This drive hums all day and all night and when I am working on my own in the studio with no music on, I can hear it humming away and it’s very annoying. If they can sort this aspect out, it’d get five stars.
