Does the job
I like to use a hot brush on dry hair to smooth and give volume. I have a chin length bob and baby fine straight hair, although a lot of it. This brush meets my needs well. Best bits for me: two heat settings, fast heating, a medium barrel, lightweight and long swivel cord. Not so keen on the soft, well spaced bristles. I find I have to guide my hair on to the bristles as it doesn’t easily grip and have already burned my fingers and knuckles a few times. Rarely got burned with my old hot brush. Will need to get a heat glove. It gives good volume and body. Also great flicks (haven’t tried creating curls). Overall, it’s great value and does the job nicely. It’s really hard to find a decent hot brush that isn’t a hair dryer and has the right sized barrel – glad my search is over.

Infrared straighteners apparently doesn’t do damage to your hair. So this came up , bought it on sale because my ghd needs a change. Came with a silicon mat and instructions,heats up quick . Let’s see how long my straight hair lasts
A great hot brush
This is the first time I’ve used one and it has transformed my hair styling. I always used straighteners, but no more. This brush is very flexible in its use land effect, and it smooths my hair whilst giving it a bounce and style. Just be careful removing the brush from your hair as the bristles hold well and it can bring bring a few strands of hair with it! But I have a better technique and wouldn’t be without them now.
Better than I had expected
I have bleached thick hair, I only straighten my hair twice a week. These are amazing they get hot quickly. And straightens my thick hair so quickly. But it looks shiny after. Great for thick coarse hair.

I bought these as they have a temperature for fine hair which I have – my old set well known brand cooked and frazzled my hair and broke the hair – just started using these. So if you have fine hair these are the ones to use.
Tested four Hair Straighteners and while all were good in their own way, this was best of the lot. Lightweight, the temperature control is exact and fast. Easy to handle, can curl and straighten. Very good for beginners.

Hadn’t changed my straighteners in 20 years, did loads of research on the right type and size for my frizzy but not very long hair and these are perfect, leaving my hair smooth and straight.
Bought this in 2020, no problems at all till now, one week out of guarantee and the on button will not keep the straighteners turned on. I deliberated whether to go to the hassle of contacting manufacturer and postage etc for repair but decided to cautiously order another.
IF this one goes wrong I will know to avoid this brand in future. When it was working I found it great.

Work really well
These are really good for anyone who needs straighteners that are fast and portable to use. You can take them anywhere with you you can even use them in the car as they run on battery. Really good idea. They are small too which adds to the portability!

I bought these in the sale after reading loads of good reviews. I’m happy with these, I was hoping to be able to turn the temperature down but it wasn’t to be, I need to use them at 185, same as GHD’s but they work just as well for a fraction of the price. I can’t fault them.
Edit: I started to notice that my hair wouldn’t stay straight and it was taking longer to do, it was also drying out so I’ve switched back to my GHD’s after 2 weeks of using these.
These straighteners arrived beautifully packaged, and I’m impressed straightaway, but let’s wait… it’s alright that they look good but what about the straighteners?
I’ve curly hair, that needs a lot of attention, any hint of moisture, rain, or heat and it frizzes, not always great when I’ve spent hours styling it just so I can look like I plug myself into an electric socket. My hair also tends to be on the dry side, which is natural for curly hair.

I always use heat protection as well as a styling product and would advise doing so, even with these straighteners.

I have gone through quite a lot of hair straighteners in my life, I have veeery curly hair and I like to tame it at times. I did a lot of research before committing to buy my next hair tamer and this one ticked the majority of boxes for me. I have to say I’m very glad that this is the curly hair whisperer that I’ve settled on as it hasn’t left my hair static and dried like other ones do. Its very easy to use, and I like the way it has the different temperatures to choose from. It also heats up within seconds. I would recommend this, curls have been tamed!
I don’t often write a review but felt these deserve to have a good one. I’ve had them for 3 months & they do all I hoped for. I only use them on lowest setting -130 degrees & find they really make my thick, coarse hair smooth & straight & shiny. They Heat up quickly & come with a useful heat mat. Can recommend.
This hot brush is soo good. Silent which I’ve never had before, and gives a very smooth professional finish, and great if you want a bit of a curl. Much better than any other brush I’ve had. And I’ve had quite a few.

These work great and are easy to use. I love that you can control the temperature (I use them on wigs too and have to be careful). I’d recommend them.
I have very thick curly hair, I love how you can set the straighteners to your hair. After straightening my hair it looks nice and straight and shiny. I have try different brands but must say I wouldn’t go past revamp.
These are absolutely brilliant, so easy to use, the temperature control function is really useful and I’m loving the little mat that comes with them, would definitely buy this brand again, superb value for money.
Amazing results
I purchased these because I felt that my babyliss were getting a little old and snagging my hair. Not wanting to spend a massive amount on ghds etc, I opted for the Revamp. I was actually blown away when I tried them. I have fine hair but lots of it and it’s shoulder length. These straighteners just glide through my hair and literally my hair stays straight for days. I may need to do a little touch up here and there where I have slept on it but I’m really impressed. I would definitely purchase other products from revamp. I should have said that I have owned GHD’s in the past and whilst I think they are great products, they are a little on the expensive side and in my opinion, these do exactly the same job.
Doesn’t damage fine hai
Little to no hair damage which is great. Bristles like this usually knot and damage my very fine hair.
I don’t find the volume/curl holds however which is real shame as the initial finish is great.

Always had expensive irons like cloud nine. These irons seem very good. Although , I have only used them on my fringe as they are a Xmas present. Therefore, only tested them to ensure they work
Good for hams use
These straighteners are not suitable for traveling because they are slightly bigger than my corded straighteners and much heavier because of the battery. This is fine for me because I just wanted to,be able to use them in the bathroom.
My hair is shoulder length and medium thick and the charge lasts long enough for me. My only criticism is that the flight mode switch is in a place where it is easy to knock while styling your hair.

I think this is one of the best straighteners I have tried- it leaves you with straight and sleek hair with even just one pass and less heat damage bc of the steam tech. I had a problem with the water not filling three months after using. But I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement so rlly good service.
These straighteners are everything I wished for plus more! I have 4C Afro hair. I have tried GHD’s before and thought that they were good. But when I tried Revamp, OMG, they surpassed all my expectations!
These are way cheaper than GHD’s and do a better job! Winner, winner chicken dinner!!

These are THE best straighteners I’ve ever used. I’ve gone through about 4 in my 20 years of life but these are by far the best. Leaves no frizz, my hair doesn’t feel frazzled. Doesn’t catch my hair at all which is amazing for someone who is head sore like me!
Fast & effective straightners
Great straightners heats up instantly & hair glides off the plates ..great for thick hair too as can have hair looking smooth & shiny fast. Only wished it came with a carry case ..to store them away safely after cooling down otherwise all is good
Better than GHD's
Bought this to replace my broken GHD’s. I think it’s better than GHD because it has a temperature control. The straightening effect is as good as GHD’s, cheaper than GHD’s and variable temperature control. Excellent buy.

I bought this because of the cordless feature. I am pleased with how easy it makes hair styling. It is a bit expensive but I see this as an investment.
So, my GHD’s broke which I have had for 15 years. Done some research and these came up on top,great price too. I was not hopeful. I have super curly/frizzy hair so I need great straighteners, these are amazing and I only use them on medium heat, controls are super easy to work. Highly recommend. Even bigger bonus of they last 15 years but only time will tell.
Exceptional
This brand is new to me and I wasn’t too sure what to expect from these straighteners but I’m pleased to report that they’re faultless. I love the steam function and it really does remove the effort of having to repeatedly go over the same area. The release of steam is very subtle on both settings — don’t expect to be engulfed in clouds of it — and you can of course disable it. Even when disabled, these style the hair with relative ease and leaves a nice glossy feel and look. Very impressive. The controls are easy to operate, it’s ergonomically sound, and given the steam function, they take precedence over my GHD straighteners that cost about the same three years ago. The power cable is very long indeed and it arrives with a mat to rest them on when cooling. I do like the lock mechanism that keeps them closed when not in use. An unqualified recommendation (and they’re boxed in a smart box if you’re buying them for a gift!).
I am knocked out by these straighteners. I recently bought a L’Oreal Steampod and was very disappointed with it. It didn’t glide smoothly at all and really snagged my hair, even when I took the removable comb out of them. They are heavy, big and bulky and the steam only comes out of one edge of the straighteners. For that reason you have to follow the arrows on the edge which can be a bit of a faff – especially when doing the back of your head. The build quality was quite poor too. They are too expensive to overlook these faults so I returned them for a refund.
The REVAMP Progloss Steam Care Ceramic Hair Straighteners are a different story however. The build quality is excellent and they have a matte black rubberised coating (instead of the cheap plastic of the Steampod). They are also more compact and are around the same size as a standard pair of non steam straighteners. The steam comes out of the middle of one of the plates so there are no confusing arrows to follow. In addition they glide through the air like a hot knife through butter – its just effortless, no snagging or catching at all. I set them to 190 degrees and was able to do my thick wavy frizzy hair in under ten minutes. Using steam the gloss they impart is second to none, and having owned a GHD Platinum Plus I can tell you that these are better. My hair is shiny, soft, glossy and frizz free and the results really last -even in damp weather. Amazing!
The only criticism I have is that the edges of the plates get very hot indeed – so you want to be careful not to make contact with your skin. These straighteners are half the price of a Steampod and they are superior in every way – there are a range of six temperature settings ranging from 150 – 230 degrees (only three settings on the Steampod and of course one on GHDs). Three options for steam – off/light/heavy (only one option with the Steampod). In addition they come with a heat proof mat which is a nice touch and a useful box for storage.
I am so so impressed with these. They are worth every penny and I heartily recommend them.

Revamp Progloss Ultra X Shine Ceramic Hair Straightene
Work as described. Heat up quickly, and work great on my thick, short hair. I’ve had no issues with burning or excess heat, so the temperature control is spot on. They cool down quite slowly but not dangerously so., Good value overall.
This hair straightener is perfect. Where to begin? First of all, the user can control the degree of preferred heat on thermostatic controls. A digital display (in degrees C) shows the temperature you’ve dialled, but if you want hotter or cooler, you can dial down. The wand heats up instantly, no waiting about. The heating element of the wand is gentle on your hair – no pulling or drying it out. My hair is thick wavy shoulder length and I can go from frizzy to sleek in about 10 minutes, job done. The wand has a lovely cylindrical but rounded at the end shape which makes it easy to pick up a strand of hair with the wand itself (no messing about with combs) and is made of material that is easy to hold and DOES NOT burn your ears or neck. Finally, the extension cord is at least 3metres so you’re not confined to a short distance between electrical outlet and mirror. An exceptionally good purchase!!
Amazing produc
Purchased for my mum who has Caucasian hair and she loves them. She uses the steam feature when her hair is freshly washed and blow dried and it holds it’s straightness for longer than a “normal” pair of straighteners.
I am in love with these, I haven’t used straighteners for many years and when I did I had the more expensive brand but these knock them out of the water.
The cord is lovely and long and twists at the base with your movements, heats up in good time and leaves me hair so so smooth, unlike my previous ones

Lovely looking straighteners, but unfortunately slightly too heavy for the intended recipient as she has arthritis in her wrists. Look excellent quality and the seller was most helpful when I asked to return them. Would buy from this polite seller again.
Great irons
Bought these after my 10yr old GHDs finally were not up for the job.
I have very fine natural Afro type 4c hair. It’s incredibly fragile.
I wanted an iron with temperature control. GHDs don’t and I found I had to do several passes over the hair to get it smooth. I managed to get my hair straight with ONE pass at 200oC
The cable is really long at 3m and it comes with a heat mat .
I was so surprised at how good they were and only 50!
