How do I clean the water tank?
Simply remove the suction head from the main body and pour hot soapy water into the water tank, via the suction head opening, up to the maximum mark. Shake the GlassVAC and pour out the water.
Which detergent can I use with the GlassVAC?
For the best results, use Bosch GlassVAC detergent concentrate (ASIN B07FYLJL98). The GlassVAC should only be used with detergent intended for window vacuums. Do not use undiluted acids, acetone or solvents.
How do I clean the suction head?
Remove the suction head from the main body and rinse under running water. Then simply shake it or leave it to dry slowly.
Can I use the GlassVAC horizontally and vertically?
The window cleaner can be used both horizontally and vertically. However, the appliance can only be used for short periods with the suction head pointing down to prevent water from getting into the suction system.
How do I know when the rubber lip needs to be replaced?
If streaks appear during cleaning, the rubber lip is worn and needs to be replaced.

Good suction on windows and flat surfaces.
Just as good if not better than similar machines
First winter that the condensation has been really bad indoors. After using 3 tea towels to dry all the windows I was then left with wet cloths that then caused more condensation, a never ending circle. Decided to order this and haven’t looked back, in fact I can now look forward out the windows! And not a wet cloth in sight. Windows haven’t looked so clean either. Definitely recommended
Better than Karcher window vac
Really pleased with my Bosch window vac. Is smaller than some other makes and works well, either using downwards or across window without streaks. Prefer to Karcher which broke just after a years use.
Easy to use
I hate condensation on the windows, and drying it with a cloth is no good. This is a perfect gadget, easy to use, to empty and does a perfect job. I haven’t use it to wash the windows but I’m sure it will be good as well. My main aim wa to get rid of condensation. Highly recommend it.
Very efficient in collecting water from panes.
So far only used to get rid of overnight condensation which the vacuum cleaner does really well. A very well made item with a comprehensive set of accessories. Expect it will be very useful for valeting windscreens. Good buy, very pleased; usual Bosch quality.
Great for taking condensation off windows internally but limited reservoir capacity
Used for getting condensation off windows which has been damaging paintwork and causing mould. To get the condensation off the bottom of the windows the device has to be used upside down and the reservoir needs emptying after one to on and a half (large) sash windows.
Brilliant little machine

Super must have!
This is a brilliant little machine. Lightweight and small so you can get into recessed windows. It can also be used sideways (others can’t) so it really is handy. Condensation gone in no time and no damp clothes to dry!
Good cleane
Had to charge it before using it and took a while. Found it cleaned well, but couldn’t get to the bottom of the windows as the machine is a bit big. Just make sure you wipe edges of glass with a cloth it stops streaks, this is a different model to what I used to have but done a good job.
We bought this window vac as we get a lot of condensation on our windows and had just had new blinds fitted,which we didn’t want to get damp.I?’d heard that they’re good for getting rid of condensation and this oroved to be very true.This works brilliantly at suck8ng zll the moisture off the windows and even pools of water from the window sills.The windows are left perfectly dry and streak free.I really don’t know how I managed eithout one before.Its so simple to use and light weight. I have mobility problems but can still use this easily.You also get a handy spray bottle with micro fibre cloths for the blades for washing the windows.Irs such a handy gadget.Its quite quiet to use and only takes a vouple of minute’s to do all the windows .It’s also very easy to clean and store aswell.
This is addictive!
Bought to mop up the windows each morning in this converted barn. It works well and I actually enjoy using it. It makes a pleasant little sucking noise when it hits a puddle on the window sill! Easy to use and easy to empty. Great for doing the shower screen after use too. I would highly recommend it.
Works well
Having owned a Karcher and a No-Brand window vac in the past I wasn’t expecting much but this one works really well. We have terrible condensation (200 year old building) and this vac does the job easily. Streak free, decent battery and easy to empty the water chamber. Very pleased.
In the cold mornings our windows are wet through. I bought this to avoid using towels (which creates more washing and I’m trying to reduce energy!) and on my first go around the house I sucked up 500ml off all the windows (it holds 100ml) so you have to empty it each time by opening the little cover at the front. Ours are particularly bad and 100ml is more than others hold.
I spent a bit more on a Bosch one being a bigger brand/for quality but it was on offer. The extra spray bottle with cleaning pad is a bonus. And being rechargeable is ideal.
My children also enjoy it – such fun cleaning the windows then sucking it all up – “where can we clean now?”
I found the bigger head sucks up a lot better than the smaller one which wasn’t perfect but still decent enough to only leave a sliver of water.
It’s strangely therapeutic. Glad I got one as for ages I was thinking do I really need this – after yet another morning of wet windows my decision was made.

If you are in the market for a window vac this is absolutely in mg opinion the best brand out there.
Having had numerous items of the yellow brand in my opinion bizarrely they seem to be designed to have a short working life.
I would put Bosch at the opposite end of the scale, they really are built to last.
Perfect Tool for the Job
I was originally looking at the Karcher but then read all the reviews on them saying the batteries die after a year which put me off.
This then popped up and for the cheaper price I figured why not? It was a good choice.
I charged the window vac fully once I got it and then used it to wash and clean my bathroom tiles, shower screen and all of my windows (inside and out) and the battery was still going strong.
Really impressed.
After washing with the spray bottle and using the window vac I went over everything with a dry cloth and now they all look as good as new.
Actually made some of the more mundane house jobs fun.
Certainly does the job. The steamer is easier to use than the washer once you get used to it and find the right pressure and speed. I use it everywhere. I’ve had 6m sliding doors fitted and have an almost fully tiled wet room. It reduces the cleaning time drastically.

Bosch Quality
After having a number of Karcher window vacs which all broke down just out of warranty we decided to try a Basic from Amazon but it was poorly designed and badly made so it was no surprise when it too broke down !
So, needing a dependable window vac we decided to go for this one from Bosch and straight out of the box it impressed with its clever design, quality feel and it’s performance hasn’t disappointed.

The first one I received would not power off but the replacement works great so far (only been used once though). Needs a few attempts to understand how to not leave streak marks at the top & bottom of the surface.

On par with the previously owned Karcher, the two blades are handy if you have windows of differing sizes. Does the job.

Bought this as a replacement for a karcher which had given up the ghost. This is alot smaller than the karcher which i find easier to use allowing to get right to the bottom edge of window without banging into the window ledge. The suction is good and i found it went right to the edge. Rubber blade is also good leaving no streaks. The motor is very quiet and the battery seems to hold the charge well. The water tank cant be removed so is harder to clean out. The smaller head is also useful but i dont use the spray bottle so cant comment on it. Overall i would say its better than the karcher 1 i previously had. Reliability wise dont really know yet but I’ve found Bosch items to be very reliable in the past and the karcher had to be repaired several times before it eventually died anyway. I would recommend this item.

I’ve had this a while but cause of bad health I’ve only just used it. It works well except the small window cleaner attachment is missing. I’m going to request one from the company will give feed back on customer services.
Okay first thing to say is that this vac is probably the best of the three I’ve owned and used but it isn’t perfect. Does it clean and dry ? Yes – Does it do it well ? Yes – Is it quiet ? Well more so than some but not the best sound level of the ones I’ve owned. Is it well made ? Absolutely – Can’t tell about long term battery life, not in use but how many years life one is likely to get, because that’s the kicker ! Once the battery is gone it’s a throw away item which is wrong in many ways. My only real complaint ! The on/off switch is way too low down on the handle for my hand size and results in my turning it off by accident whilst in use which is very annoying ! Other than that it remains the best window vac I’ve used and I’m happy with my purchase.

Good but!!
As far as build quality and suction this beats the kartcher hand down it leaves the window streak free and dry I have owned two of the kartches and they both fell apart. The only down side is (and hence the 4 stars) the size of the water tank if you wish to use this after showering be prepared to empty frequently.
Early days but seem OK
Bought this to replace an old worn out Karcher that we had had for years, unfortunately same model no longer available & our more recent experiences with Karcher have not been so great.
This Bosch model works OK, but it is a little cumbersome, it does not have the same ‘balance’ as the Karcher making it slightly harder to manoeuvre. Hopefully we will get used to it.
Great for clearing condensation & cleaning glass. Fix for spray applicator / nozzle not working.
I bought the GlassVAC Premium Set and it works very well for clearing any condensation/water from windows/surfaces, and together with the spray bottle & microfibre pads is good for cleaning window glass indoors. The vacuum tank has a max fill level, which presumably allows one to easily use the vacuum in horizontal orientation. Suction is fine, and the rubber blades work nicely. Well made unit. 5/5 for the vacuum and blade heads. 4/5 for the whole package – given spray head issue.
The problem I had was with the spray nozzle head did not work at all. Nothing. However, an easy solution which worked in this case, was to simply unscrew the red nozzle cap, and just pull the inner clear plastic nozzle insert out. The inner side of this insert appeared to have an intact plastic film over the central hole, which when ‘perforated’ allowed the spray nozzle to work.
Saves time and is efficient.
I bought this one because I knew I’d want to suction heads for smaller windows. a lot of similar items only have one. No double glazing so some of my windows are thick with condensation on cold days in the morning. Previously a hassle and 2 soaking wet cloths. This sucks up all the water with one stroke, and repeat. All I end up doing is using a cloth the quickly wipe edges – seconds. Nothing is perfect.
It works briefly upside down but better when the water capture container is empty or low. You do have to empty it frequently but no hassle. Battery lasts 3 or 4 sessions. Charges quickly.
So far satisfied. A time saver. Can use it to clean car windscreen.

Early days, will update later, Sucks about the same as the early katcher, Usb charging socket feels like that might break, It is wider than the karcher so if you are like me and do upstairs windows from inside this makes it tight, I did get a newer karcher but they kept on giving me issues, Motor went rough after only a couple of months, Got a replacement then that gave up after 6 months flashing yellow light, So I binned that and thought I would try this one.
I use it alot so I will be back to update.
The best sucker for sure
Wifey wanted an hoover to use on the windows. I thought she was mad when she asked me to look for one, hoovering windows I said Anyway looked I did and found this little beauty. Wifey loves it and I’ve had no complaints, so it’s definitely a good product. In my eyes, a tad expensive for what it does, but considering I have nothing to compare it with, it may well be the best money can buy. I have no experience to compare.
Wifey has used it for a while now and it’s still doing what it says.

Robust, powerful and easy to clea
Admittedly I haven’t owned a window vac before so I have nothing to compare it to, but I have been impressed with this product.
It holds a reasonable amount of water and is easy to empty when full. It doesn’t appear to leak at all, even when using it sideways at the bottom of the windows to avoid the sill.
The blade glides well over the glass, leaving no streaks. It is reasonably quiet (it doesn’t wake anyone else in neighbouring rooms of a morning!) and its pretty light.
The charge lasts ages – I’ve had it over a month doing two large windows a day and only had to charge it after 3 weeks.
All in all, well worth the money in my opinion.

I researched many reviews on here and find them very useful. I have never had any type of window vac and I hate cleaning windows. I have just acquired lots more windows, large south facing windows so I wanted something that didn’t leave streaks. I read the best seller and decided not to buy because it was mentioned several times about leaving streaks and lines. it was expensive if it left streaks and lines so thought I’d give this one a go. The price was right to give it a go even if it did leave streaks.
I absolutely LOVE IT. There are some streaks, sometimes at edges of the windows but I think that is more about how you use it. My windows have never been so clean. I just can’t believe I have never known about these. It takes not time at all to clean them. One of my all time favourite things – A small product that does a BIG Job – Could do with the same product for my tiled floors 🙂

This window vac is very..very good cleaned conservatory windows inside and outside..can leave some tide marks but with practice they no longer appear anymore…cleaned the patio doors so we’ll I’ve just tried to walk through them and bumped my head..God honest truth my wife had a great laugh and told me to write this review..so I did…!!! We use window vacs to dry our shower, had this two weeks now, still charged even though we’ve used it twice a day during the week and once a day at the weekend. Quieter than our previous vac, hasn’t thus far sprayed water all over the shower like our previous ones yet.
Only downside is I haven’t figured out if there’s a way to take the bottle out for cleaning.

I’m pleased with this product. I mostly use it for the Georgian windows on my 17th century cottage, where the smaller of the two wipers fits the small panes. I use it for the condensation and although time consuming, works well. I have also used the large wiper for cleaning bigger windows (without putting any product in the device – just spray on from the original canister) and that greatly reduced the time spent cleaning and the windows looked good.
I can see clearly now
I have had cheaper window vacs before but they haven’t lasted. This feels much more robust and well engineered. It cleans the windows too! The suction is strong and the blades do not leave smears, unless you pick up cobwebs along the way! Easy to empty and charges fairly quickly, lasts me for a 4 bedroom house inside and out one whole floor and a bit more. The sprayer is really strong and the small blade helps with a glass panel door I have

Great little window vac, my wife loves it. As with all things these days there are a few negative reviewsignoring those and applying some common sense such as emptying the container when full while vacuuming etcit does a splendid job and we had no problems whatsoever 🙂

Only complaint is that it is a little too bulky to do the inside of the windscreen in the car.

Iver used this only a few times, I have found that it’s not quite as powerful as I was expecting and the battery doesn’t last as long as it said it potentially could but perhaps i am being a little to critical as I haven’t used any other similar products.

Good at the moment.
Pleased with this machine at the moment. It really depends on how long it lasts. I have had several window vacs over the last few years (different makes) and they all worked well initially but don’t last very long (a few months). Hopefully Bosch have produced a machine that will last longer than previous ones.

This is a great product that sucks.. In a good quality way. And the battery life seems to be working longer than my brother ever done. The rubber blades for a stretch free results are amazing. It needs another compensation to catchup…..

Great product. My windows are all cleaned within 20 minutes as so easy and quick to use. After use the are complete streak free something I struggle to get when cleaning by hand. I clean my windows about three times before I have to recharge

No more condensation easy peasy
I took a chance on this one thought about getting the Karcher But heard many negative reviews not lasting that long. This Bosch works perfect at getting all the condensation that resides at the bottom of the windows in very cold winter nights takes minutes to do and gets rid of all the water and then just need a little wipe with a cloth the reason why I bought this also is the rubbers in the wiper blades that come in this machine because they’re the same rubber that Bosch uses in their car wiper blades which are excellent long life,streak free .there is a knack to this but a little pressure to open the top of The rubber blade so water can be sucked into machine.
Battery life is excellent too .
With this gadget the task is made very easy ,

The Vac itself is great, works really well, easy to use, light to manage. The attachments to change blade size are easy, all in all that part is a great buy.
The cleaner bottle that comes with it is useful but it has a major flaw, it leaks terribly from the spray head, contents everywhere! I even tried emptying it so less than half full, still leaks, when you’re using cleaning fluid that’s the last thing you want. Still prefer this over the black and yellow brand but they seriously need to change the bottle or sprayhead design, have had to work hard to get the cleaning fluid I was using on the windows off my carpet etc.

Bought this because of its narrow head as I have old style 8 pane windows. House is grade II listed so single glazing that gets a lot of condensation in the bedrooms. Pretty pleased with the suction power. Very easy to use. Battery lasts well.

Love it, all in all.
Only used this Bosch window vac a couple of times and as this is my first I can’t compare to others. However, did a job great and used it after a shower as well, so plenty of water to tackle on both flat and curved glass. That brings me on to the only criticism I have, as of yet.
The water tank is very small and soon filed, not so much a major problem, more a case of could be better. The overall quality and ease of use are very good, I would definitely recommend as this worked very well at every angle I tried, this was all bar the ceiling.

Window vac seems to work very well
Happy with my purchase. Seems to work well and has the narrower blade which is essential for use with our Georgian casement windows. It seems to be pretty well made. Hopefully it will give me many years of reliable service!
Windows were smudge free and completely clear!!
The product is fairly large which makes it a little difficult to manoeuvre at the bottom of the window frames but you can tilt the vac to the side and it works just as well. But the vac is easy to hold, not heavy at all and has a wide mouth so it can suck a lot of water at once.
I used this a few times and it works brilliantly! Absorbs all the water in the first pass and doesn’t leave any streaks behind.
I only worry about the rubber mouth wearing away and needing replacing in the future but this shouldn’t be too much of an issue as long as you don’t press too hard and use smooth movements.

Recently bought a house, now it’s getting colder there’s a lot of condensation inside the windows in the morning. I use this to remove it and it’s ideal. I also use it after a shower to remove the water on the walls. The tank is small so needs emptying often but that’s not been an issue for me. I only use it for a few minutes each day, but so far I’ve found the battery lasts a long time between charges.

Had 2 karchers both stopped charging, thought I’d give this a try when on sale, so glad I did so good, no streaks. A bit cumbersome but getting used to it.
Window cleaning made easy
I have very large windows and it always took me hours to do. Now it takes about 30 mins to do all the windows. Great suction on this Bosch and with the smaller size blade makes small corners and windows easy to do.No streaks, very light and I love it. Good for cleaning bathroom tiles, mirror. This is so much better than the Karcher I had before which after a few uses would not re charge which seems to be a common problem.
