A great ball – comes with foot pump – pretty easy to inflate. Been using this instead of office chair at my desk as I work from home. Currently 35 weeks pregnant and have had hip/ back pain using my normal ergonomic chair. This ball seems to help ease my ‘pregnancy’ pains some how!
Comes with a book too for pre, during and post pregnancy workouts etc. Tape measure includes to make sure you get the right size for you. Would recommend.

I bought this for my daughter who was having some girdle pain at 35 weeks. She has been gently bouncing and doing some exercises from the accompanying book and is now 37 weeks and far more comfortable. There are lots of exercises in the book for all stages of pregnancy and beyond.

    Life saver!
At 4 months pregnant my Pelvic Girdle Pain was becoming insufferable. I was recommended this product from a family member and it has saved both my mental physical health. I’m now 5.5 months pregnant. During the day I wear my PGP support belt and sometimes I need crutches to support myself but to come home to this yoga ball makes the days struggle disappear. It takes the pressure off my hips, opens my back and the booklet is so helpful with exercise for all trimesters, post partum and baby massage. Absolute 10/10!!!

No foot pump - issue rectified by selle
Edit (see the original review below):
I contacted the seller to complain about the lack of foot pump who swiftly replied, apologised and sent me a pump.

They informed me that they were looking into the issue, as judging from the reviews more people seem to have had the same problem. Therefore, anyone who receives their birthing ball without a pump should contact the seller straight so they become aware of the problem and can rectify it.

The ball itself is nice quality and it is absolutely what I needed for this pregnancy! I work a desk job and my back has been killing me. It really helps to alternate between the desk chair and the birthing ball as it alleviates that back pain.

    Original review:
It says that it comes with a foot pump (it even says so in the little booklet that comes with) but there was no foot pump. In fact, I can’t see how there could be a pump in the box it came in so it really felt like false advertising.

Obviously not happy with having paid more than what these balls cost in other places and you then have to buy a seperate pump to be able to use it. Safe your money and buy a cheaper one.

    Highly recommend for labour!
Relatively easy to inflate and felt comfortably sturdy to use. I was overdue at the time I ordered, now I have had my son after consistently using the birthing ball. I found the book very helpful for loosening my pelvis for labour with the correct exercises. I’m now going to use it for my pelvic floor and postnatal journey as that’s included in the book! BABYGO ball is genuinely the best birthing ball I’ve used I highly recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat purchase and good quality
I am nearly 35 weeks pregnant and got this birthing ball over a week ago. It was easy to inflate (the instructions were clear) and I have been using it daily with confidence, it is very sturdy and appears to be good quality.

I have had lower back pain since the middle of the first trimester and although I haven’t been using this long, it does appear to have stretched my back and eased the pain whenever I have used it. I will definitely be taking this to the hospital to help me through labour and plan on using it afterwards too.

I think this could be used for general exercise, outside of pregnancy, as well given its quality.

    I would recommend this product.

Instructions are easy to read and follow. I personally didn’t set it up, my partner did while I was at work. It’s very comfortable, does help with the pain. I haven’t been able to use it much yet.

The booklet is a really good source of information. From exercises for first trimester all the way to after birth. It provides a lot more than it says it does.

I would definitely recommend it. Best for the the first trimester, just to get into the habit of being on it early. Unless you’re just as unfortunate as me and slept through the entire thing .

    Must buy for maternity
I bought this ball quite early on in my pregnancy to try and help with pelvic pain and it’s been amazing. By the end I would always sit on it instead of hard chairs as it was way more comfortable. It’s good for exercise and I’m sure it was part of the reason my baby was head down from 31 weeks.

    So far this is great!
Got my partner to inflate and he said it was easy enough.
Used it for a few days so far so good comes with a little book that has some exercises in which is great as this is the first time using these.
It says it’s anti burst which is brilliant as I don’t want to fall on the floor like that when I’m pregnant.

Bought this for my pregnancy journey and so far it has been a god send for stretching out my back, I have pgp and the physio gave me exercises to do on the ball to help and it does take a lot of pain off the back and hips just by sitting doing the exercises and stretches for 10 minutes, I felt like the ball wouldn’t stretch to where it was supposed to go to but it did and it was fine so don’t panic about that, I plan to use it during labour too but would give it 5 stars straight away just for how much it’s helped me with my pgp so far. I haven’t done the exercises in the book because I follow my physio exercises but can imagine it would be quite handy for women who have no pelvic issues to use the book.

    Great pregnancy ball!
I was browsing for pregnancy balls and I’m very happy I landed on the Babygo one. It’s more expensive than other balls but you can see why, it’s sturdy and it feels safe! The booklet it comes with is so informative and I was really impressed and actually gutted I only managed to get in at 8 months pregnant! If I’ll ever be pregnant again it will be so useful from the first trimester onwards! I’m mostly using it for lower back pressure and it does the job perfectly. I also like that in the book you get exercises for the postpartum as well.
Honestly really happy with the purchase!

It’s an excellent buy and the customer service is brilliant. It is easy to inflate, very strong and sturdy. My wife uses it more when experiencing PGP, but also uses it sporadically throughout the day to help with pain relief. Holds the air, bouncy and quality made. Thank you Babygo 🙂

    Big Bouncy Ball
The delivery was quick and item well packaged with all contents present. We went for the 75 ball my wife is 5’9 and it fits her comfortably. Do yourself a favour though and buy an electric pump to blow it up the pump it is supplied with is a great idea but I suspect if I had used that to blow it up I would still be pumping away. The ball its self seems like a sturdy bit of kit but we will see how it goes further on in the pregnancy.

    Great gym ball for pregna
I was advised by my physiotherapist to get a gym ball since I suffer with a lower back pain during my pregnancy. So after a long browsing and review reading I’ve ordered BABYGO gym ball and it was the best decision ever. Really helps me with my back pain. Ball is made from very thick material which is great. It comes with a little pregnancy book with exercises. The colour is beautiful as well. I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend to all pregnant girls out here 🙂

    Great customer service
Update: customer service were brilliant and sent a new one out straight away, which I am now sat on and finally feeling some relief. The only issue I had was putting it up, my partner had to do it or it might have taken me a while.

I only bought this yesterday and blew it up this morning and it’s already been punctured. Very disappointed since I’m in a lot of pain at the moment and now have to spend money on a new birthing ball.

    Good ball
I left a question as there is no way to contact the seller, but I’ve had no response. My ball came without a pump. I have been suffering badly with sciatica in my pregnancy and was desperate to begin using the ball, so I sourced a foot pump elsewhere. I managed to inflate it eventually, and the ball is very good. It’s just a shame the pump was missing as it may have made the inflation process easier. Only giving 3 stars for this reason, otherwise it would be 5 🙂

UPDATE – I received a follow-up email from the company, saying they hope I’m enjoying the ball etc. I was then able to tell them my pump was missing. They replied right away and told me they would send one out for me. This was on the Friday and it arrived with me on the Monday. I have increased the rating to 5* as I’m now a happy bunny! My only comment would be perhaps list an email address in the description for customers to contact you, as the lack of pump is a regular occurrence. I struggled to find any direct contact details.

Brought this when I was about 24wks due to not having cartilage left in my right hip thus pain due to weight was starting to cause an issue. Now 37wks and cannot be without it. It is like being ‘on’ water. The weight lifts off my hips/pelvis instantly and reduces pain almost immediately. It is an absolute godsend. Very easy to inflate and the book is very useful in providing different movements to try depending on how you are feeling. I love the idea of using it when the baby is here too! Very durable also. Would highly recommend for anyone suffering with any hip/pelvis and/or back issues. It really has helped me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users100% Would buy agai
I loved this ball! I believe it helped my baby get into a good position, I used it a lot in the third trimester (baby was in a good head down position from 34 weeks) and during labour. It’s a great size, sturdy, and I would 100% recommend it. I had pelvic girdle pain throughout pregnancy and this helped to ease it.

We deflated it soon after the birth, but I have since seen a great tip that you can bounce baby on the ball to soothe them!

At first it was a bit tricky working out what size to inflate it to but once it was up it was great. If my memory serves me correctly you inflate it to 80% then 24 hours later inflate fully so bear this in mind if you buy close to your due date.

I brought this based on the good reviews. When it arrived, the box was damaged and had no foot pump in, but a quick message to the seller resulted in them dispatching one for me and it arrived a few days later.
It’s easy to inflate, took about 20 minutes, came with a handy ‘how to use’ book with recommended exercises. The quality is really good and I love the colour. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and just want some relief from sitting on an uncomfortable office chair for 9 hours a day and to help with pre-natal workouts/pelvic floor exercises. I think it’s good value for money

Such an essential pregnancy & postnatal tool! I used it in my third trimester as a chair and for yoga, and it’s very helpful for rocking / bouncing our little girl to sleep now. The ball is very sturdy and I can see it lasting many years & other uses.

The ball is very hard to blow up with the enclosed footpump, I ended up using an electric one.

    Good ball, bad pump
The ball itself is great. It feels sturdy and material seems hard wearing so unlikely to burst. The little book with instructions on exercises, nutrition, etc is a great bonus. My only con is the pump was not very good. Instructions say pump to 80%, leave for 24 hours, then pump to 100%. The next day, when I tried to fully pump up the ball, all the air was escaping through the deflating nozzle of the pump and actually ended up deflating the ball to about 50% (definitely followed the instructions correctly and was using the inflation nozzle on the pump). I ended up have to use an alternative pump I had at home which luckily fit.

    Great pain relief!
Bought this due to pelvic girdle pain. It has been such a relief. It came on time. Easy enough insteuctions to inflate it. Feels sturdy for now. .Been using it for a month and so far so good.
The pain has reduced so much. Apart from doing the exercises it has become my chair at home while I work. The only time my pain appears now is if I lie on one side too long where before it was pretty much all the time.

I took a while to pick a birthing ball and choose this one as it comes with a book. I am so glad that I did! The ball itself is perfect really sturdy and a lovely colour. The book is fantastic and so helpful, it’s an actual book and not just a booklet! I’m in my third trimester and really wish I’d bought the ball sooner as there’s so many exercises in the book for the whole pregnancy. It comes with a pump that inflates and deflates the ball which is very easy to use. Also comes with spare stoppers for the ball.

Great quality and a great price, couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

    Happy I Purchased
I was looking for a pregnancy ball to help with keeping active during pregnancy and in later stages to keep me upright to help position of baby.

I am glad I chose this ball. Its a nice colour and sturdy. It was easy to inflate (came with pump) and came with a manual of different exercises you can do through all trimesters and also general pregnancy nutrition advice. I found this useful as other balls on Amazon didn’t come with this.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFantastic, no complaints
I have been using this ball for a while during my pregnancy now, sometimes for gentle exercise and sometimes just to sit on when I’ve had back ache (I’ve even worked from home sat at my dining room table on this!). It’s very sturdy, (as I discovered when I found my husband sitting on it!). The book that came with it has lots of handy exercises and I like that it has a section post-birth. Inflating was a nightmare and took me quite some time with the little pump that came with it but it was manageable and I had it up in around an hour. Hoping it will help more and more as we approach the end of my pregnancy.

    Great pregnancy ball
Birthing ball came nice and quickly and was exactly as advertised on amazon. Comes with a great book to help you with some exercises during pregnancy.
Easy to inflate and instructions easy to follow. Once inflated ball feels very sturdy and comfortable to sit on.
Would definitely recommend for any pregnant people out there or anyone who wants to do exercise with this type of ball. It is grea

So pleased with this order! I wasn’t expecting a book to give exercises and so much other advice either so im so pleased with that little surprise! I didn’t have any idea of exercises to do so the book was very handy and I wish I’d had this ball from the beginning of my pregnancy. Thankfully the book also give exercises for after your pregnancy to so im chuffed to get even more use out of this product after baby is born. Comes with pump also which is even more of a bonus! Very recommended.

    Very good ball
Very sturdy ball, very good for my pelvis and hips..it helps to correct poor posture and it will make you use your back muscles while using it/sitting on it. However, I had to use another pump to inflate (electric) as the one that is provided is not easy to use (it would take hours to inflate the ball). But for the price, I didn’t even expect a pump (at least not a quality one). The ball is excellent and I love the book about pregnancy as well(comes in the box).

I would definitely recommend this ball. The bottom of my was hurting at 28weeks pregnant and this has definitely helped. I can sit on it comfortably for a really long time. It comes with a detailed book into what exercises you can do on it and it’s surprising how much you can do before and after pregnancy. It’s no wonder it’s Amazon’s best seller as it is really good and I would highly recommend

I’ve used it much more than expected. Comfy and good quality
Love this ball so much, have been using it way more than I ever expected and helps to get rid of any back pains and aches as encourages good posture. Feels good quality and sturdy and has really encouraged me to be more active during third trimester as a nice alternative seat to a hard chair or slouching on the sofa. sometimes I find it’s the only comfy thing to sit on that doesn’t ache my hips when I get up (compared to the harder sofa). Unexpectantly, the ball also doubles up nicely as a foot stool for when my partner or I are on the couch.

Recommend this ball to all expecting mummas
I love the manual for the ball. Guides on how to use the ball during each trimester and work outs!! The colour is beautiful and it has helped my back pain due to pregnancy!! Only down side ( minor detail ) is the foot pump. I would definitely pay more for this yoga ball if they had an electric pump. I’m almost in my 3rd trimester, I’ve struggled with this pregnancy with a number of issues and I was seriously puffed by the time I had inflated the ball. Again a minor issue that probably wouldn’t affect anyone else. Love and recommend this ball

I wasn’t sure if I should invest in one. But im glad I did. I ordered this around 30 weeks pregnant. Its very handy when I feel baby is under my tummy. Once I excerise on the ball. I feel I give the baby more room to move downwards. Im glad I’ve invested in one. Also this brand looks alot sturdy. So glad I went for this one.

A good alternative to a chai
I thought birthing balls were a bit extra, but actually working from home it’s pretty much replaced my chair for portions of the day. Because it’s flexible, it’s more comfortable, and gives you a little more wriggle room. I have found that it’s sturdy and I can make myself comfortable more easily than on a chair because it allows more hip opening postures. If you do the gentle bounces, there’s the added bonus that a Fitbit counts them as steps, so you can still hit the 10,000 mark (or just give yourself a little boost knowing it counts as getting moving!).
The only down side is that my pack was missing the muslin cover for the baby to use afterwards.

If your pregnant you need this ball !! :)
I’m 36 weeks pregnant and needed something for my back and hips. This ball certainly does not disappoint. As soon as I was on the ball it was instant relief and I love the little book that comes with it. It has so much information in it.

Super easy to inflate with the foot pump , took about 15 minutes to fully inflate.

Love how sturdy this ball feels and it’s almost like it’s got grippers on it so your not sliding around (as we have a wooden floor)

I’m 5ft 8 , 19 stone and bought the 65cm ball which is perfect for me. You don’t need any bigger size. Lovely colour too.

    5 star for everything !!

Just like many other people, I have been working from home since March. On top of that, I am pregnant and experiencing some discomfort in my lower back. I decided to give this a go to help with posture when working from my home desk, to help with pain relief and also for anything wonderful a birthing ball is meant to do for you to prepare for labour and during labour. I am really happy! It’s great quality, doesn’t stink, doesn’t deflate quickly and most importantly it is helping with both posture and lower back pain. I am 5″2 and found the 65cm ball to be the perfect size for me. I would recommend!

The ball seems to be of good quality and when u inflate it, it can take a lot of weight. My only comment is that there was no pump in the package and in my case the package was obviously open – maybe previous purchase… and was tapped.

Update: The seller contacted me about the pump, is sending one extra for free and refunded me. Thats good service so I am updating my 3stars to 4

Everything a birthing ball needs to be
Used mainly during last month or so of pregnancy as a comfortable way to sit and gently bounce to ease aches with better upright/forward/open posture to maximise chances of baby being in the right position for birth. No doubt great actually during labour too, I just didn’t end up labouring where it was! Fully intend to use it after my 6-8 week check for exercising core muscles and general fitness into the future. Included booklet has some helpful looking suggested exercises for different stages. If I could change anything, it would only be to have bought it sooner to get maximum use out of it during pregnancy (and if it had been possible for my early labouring to have happened at home, I’d have used it then.)

I bought this during my pregnancy, as something to sit on when working from home, and also to do some general pilates exercises on. The ball was easy to inflate using the provided pump and hoses. The ball feels very strong and sturdy once inflated, and it’s held it’s size/pressure without needing top ups of air. Great product!

    Definitely helps to induce labou
I never write reviews on anything but this one really deserved it. I was 38 weeks and 4 days when I purchased this product. I started bouncing on it in the night for about 10-15mins. Went to bed then kept waking up in the middle of the night cause I started getting abdominal pain. Next day after the pain eased, I started bouncing around 5-6pm for about half hour. At 8pm my contractions started. At 4am the following morning, I was admitted in the hospital and couple hours later, I had my baby girl.

Very robust and comfortable to use, handy booklet with exercises provided
Birthing ball is easy to inflate, and has a tape measure that allows it to be inflated to the correct size, depending on the user’s height. It seems to maintain its size well and is very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, even just to watch TV. I particularly liked that it came with a booklet demonstrating exercises you can do in each trimester.

I’ve only had the ball a few weeks, but I have found that it has greatly reduced back pain and general discomfort. The ball appears to be quite sturdy. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely sturdy ball from a friendly company
I brought this for my daughter almost a year ago, I was immediately attracted by the lovely colour and also the extras which were very helpful for a first time mum. My daughter really loves this ball and especially during late pregnancy she used it every day, she said that the baby would become settled as she moved around on it. The baby was born in April and for the first couple of months my daughter often sat on the ball with the baby at least a couple of times a day which was at that time the most comfortable thing for her to sit on. They also have a cocker spaniel puppy who loves to lay in front of the ball but unbelievably hasn’t attacked it lol. The ball is still being used but obviously not so often, mainly for yoga exercises, it looks like new and still feels sturdy, so I can defiantly recommend this product especially for a first time mummy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNo birthing ball is better than this one!
Being an overweight lady anyway and also 40 weeks pregnant with what turned out to be my 8lbs 9oz daughter, I was worried with some of the smaller less quality balls that I would pop or deflate them easily. So I decided to try this ball and I am so glad I did!
This ball is larger than a gym ball making using it much more comfortable.
It is made out of a much thicker and stronger material too.
It came complete with a book of excersises for during and after labour too which was handy and the provided foot pump looked incredibly easy to use (though I did sit eating a chocolate orange whilst my watching my husband pump it up so I can’t really comment haha)
    Overall I give this ball a 10/10
We have 3 children together, which means I’ve had 3 labour’s, and I wish I had discovered this ball with my older 2 as it was a real game changer!
It really helped relieve my spd pains too, which if you’re looking at birthing balls I’m sure 90% of you will know what those are without the need to Google search it!
Good luck with your labour, this ball will help get you moving!

Turns out this was one of my most useful pregnancy buys. I originally brought this to sit on during my third trimester because I had huge issues with hip and lower back pain, and it did take some of the pressure off. It then also came in handy for the labour, I was able to bounce and lean on it which offered some relief. But here’s the most important bonus- I spend a lot of time bouncing on this holding my colicy newborn as it’s one of the only things that soothes her. It kills your back but anything to stop the screaming! Also, it’s a nice colour.

I got this for my wife, (now 6 months into baking). She says this helps ease aches and makes her feel a bit more comfortable. Pumping up was made easier by the included pump, yet a bit of a faff at the same time. Worth it though for how much better it seems to make her feel.
If you’re expecting and considering trying one, give it a go. 2nd baby, 2nd ball, they work.
