Great length and the quality is sturdy and can take a good beating being dragged around the gardens. My plants are happy. Only issue is going round a corner. the reel kinks sometimes so yoi have to lasso like a western cowboy to unfurl and release
Hozelock 30m Compact Reel with 25m Hose & Round Mixer Tap Connecto
Bought to replaced a tired old no brand hose. This works well and it’s worth paying more for a market leader in garden equipment. We don’t always need he tap connector as we have an outdoor tap but it’s always useful to own. The mechanism works well.

Great hose once you get it made up and all attached and working.
It is a bit tricky knowing which attachment fit hose and which fit tap. Fortunately this is a replacement hose and I was able to compare to what I was taking off.
Could be better if ready assembled
Was a bit of a faff assembling and. As. Others have said it does kink Terribly if you’re not careful.
The product replaced a flexible hose which was easier to use but not long lasting. This hose is more durable but prone to kinking. It is reasonably easy to assemble but with a full hose wound onto the drum it is not light weight. The spray nozzle is basic twist on and off but it can be replaced with a multi spray head with trigger grip at extra cost.
Good but should have got a fixed one
Really happy with this hose reel, does all that it says and it was easy to put together once I watched the video online. Just wish I had bought one that fixes to the wall or one with a heavy base so it doesn’t pull around when walking the hose out and makes it easier when reeling it back in.
Works OK
I found this quite hard to assemble (my brother did it and he’s usually good at this kind of thing). It leaks a little on the inside, until you turn it on. After that, it works well, nice and long, and I like how it comes with all the fittings you need.

Good hosepipe awful instructions
After I had finally located the correct video on YouTube, so I could actually assemble this correctly, it works just fine. The instruction leaflet that comes with it, is about as useful as a piece of used toilet paper – but Hozelock have an excellent video on Youtube to assist – you just need to find the right one for your hose.
Compact and easy to use
Arrived next day and free delivery, usually have to pay for next day delivery. Very impressed. Item is as expected. Easy to use.
Hosepipe on a reel - not perfect but ok
Assembly is a bit of a faff as needs screwdriver and a strong grip to tighten joints. They still haven’t solved the winding, could do with a pipe guide otherwise it all ends up on one side of the reel and then falls off the edge.
Hose is strong and the sprayer ok but would recommend getting a gun style head.

I like this product easy to use. Easy to assemble just read the instructions first I forgot to put the spring in the hose so had to take it back apart. You will need a screw driver too to open the bit inside the house reel.
One thing I don’t like, you have to cut abit of the hosepipe to run from your reel to the tap. I used scissors to cut approximately 1m length, aslong as it reaches the tap from the floor that’s all you need to cut.

No problem with delivery. However, there was a crucial item missing from the package, essential to make the product useable initially.
Contacted the Hozelock Customer Services and they were very efficient in sending out the missing part (see image), which arrived promptly. Credit to them for addressing this issue so well.
With this part the assembly of the product could be completed and thoroughly tested. All works as expected and very pleased with the product.

Easy to assemble very manoeuvrable. I love this hose probably the best ever. Use it often and it is so flexible for front of house garden plants and back! Very easy to handle, stretches well, it is lightweight but powerful too, would deffinately recommend
Gardening time agai
Replacement for an old hose. Not a fan of the tap connectors & had to buy a separate one. I have low water pressure so had to cut off the end to use. Not a fault with the produc

This is an excellent lightweight hose system for small gardens & patios etc. Be sure to read the instructions ( in the fittings bag ) before fitting connectors & connecting to tap etc.

Good product but assembly instructions are useless
Firstly, I was a bit surprised the hose and reel needed to be assembled, but that seems to be the way of things today. The assembly instructions are in picture form which makes it difficult (impossible in my case) to figure out you need to undo the screws holding the hose connector to the reel. In the end I resorted to the internet and discovered Hozelock had put a really clear video of the assembly process on YouTube. Pity they did not think to share the web address in the assembly instructions – it would have saved a lot of time. When undoing/replacing the screws a magnetic screwdriver comes in very useful.

I had to get a neighbour to work out the instructions for assembly. Took a good hour.
Good product but...
Good product but more detailed instructions to assemble would be advantageous. Also when picture instruct state a part number of would be helpful if actual item was marked with its number. Would buy again.
Practical and clean.
Super practical and convenient. I purchased to use it with a power washer, ended up using this instead of the washer (albeit with less pressure ofcourse) No mess, very light to move around and to store away

With the exception of the connecting of the pipe to the inner hub of the storage hub, this was easy to assemble and worked first time. I would recommend that you test the connection for leaks before you roll up the hose to save yourself time and possible frustratio

Great product light and easy to carry compact reel case but when putting together took while to connect inner connection of hose pipe in reel case as had to remove small panel at front and connector to connect inner hose pipe then reattach to reel and put back panel had to phone seller for help then easy to do but instruction leaflet not clear as section photo missing would still recommend produc
Standard non mounted hose reel
It is a standard reinforced hose on a dispenser reel which needs to be assembled and can be fiddly but once completed and leak proof is okay. Dont like the fact that you can’t wall mount the dispenser as it’s a pain trying to extend it to full length by just pulling it. That becomes a two man job. Wall mount option is far more expensive.
It's a hose pipe
I got this as it was 30m which is longer than the 10m karcher one I already had. Amazon wants me to make comments on manoeuvrability but I have it set in one spot and pull the hose to the place I need it and don’t move the base around. The best thing is that when I turn the tap one water comes out the hose and I can aim it where I want.

This is a great hose, goes from my front garden right through to back, as tap is in front. Have used a few times, no problems. You just need to unwind the hose & keep it fairly straight easy. Recommend

This replaced the more expensive hose and reel that had metal stabilizers and was fairly sturdy. This is less stable but functions ok. My advice would be to buy the more expensive unit for added stability and practicality.

Easy enough to prepare but the end part basically never stops of putting out water. I found out that you have to cut part of the pipe to make a proper installation and that was a bit unexpected. Above all really good quality

Has everything for someone with no hose at all
Includes all the attachments you need for a hose set. You need to cut a short length of the hose off the reel and attach the supplied connectors to it. This will attach the reel to your tap. The hose end attatches to the reel easily and to stop the pipe pinching it comes with a spring insert. It’s fiddly to get in but does the job.

Apart from having to bend down to rewind the hose, it couldn’t get any easier to use. Place it on a chair and that problem is solved. One of the best products I’ve invested in. The hose is soft and can kink if you are not careful but the hose’s flexibility far outweighs this inconvenience.

This piping does not kink, this is good as many past pipes have been scrapped because of kinking and storage. I like the spring to make the pipe not collapse at the point of connection.

I was confused before place an order as read about negative reviews but once see the quality product with delivery service, it’s clear my mind. It is high quality hose compared to previous one and easy to assemble like 123.
Now, I have to wait and see how long it lasts before submitting another review but I will highly recommend to buy this product.

Decent hosepipe
Not the easiest to assemble and the instructions weren’t as clear as they should be. Nevertheless, once assembled, this is a good hosepipe for my needs (30m is a good size) and does the job well. I haven’t had many problems with twists and kinks that are difficult to untangle (yet) and with some care one can wind it around the wheel quite easily.

Compact , value for money water hose. You have to unwind the hose to get the parts out to connect it and it could be improved by being able to attach it to the wall. However it was easy to use with a good quality hose.

Shouldn’t erally have to review certain products as you get what you pay for, I dont think I have ever had a problem from this brand and have never been disappointed with the quality or durability, and I dont see this changing with this addition 🙂

Only one thing, when I got everything out of the box including the hose, all the fittings I needed were in there – shame I hadn’t found a definitive answer to what was in the box and ordered a set of fittings! I gave these to my son so not a total loss Would be good to add what is definitely included to the info online.

I had the 25m one.
Base arrived, with hose, and a bag of attachments (for various tap fittings) and the hose lock connectors for the hose and base. Ensure it’s all done up really tight at all points or it will drop.
Good Hose
Purchased so we could use our new tap and pressure washer, cleaned our whole front porch at time of writing and no leaks or issues. I have only knocked a star off as the instructions were fairly poor to assemble and ended up with white goo when taking out the middle initial connection. recommend to not bother unscrewing this part and simply pushing in the hose and making sure the cap is tight. If you are getting any leaks in the hose you likely didn’t use enough force or tighten the joints on the connections enough.

I searched high and low for a new hose and every time I read the reviews they put me off due to mention of kinking or being a cheap hose. This one is OK. It’s a good length, longer than the one I had before. It’s a little bit awkward reeling it in if the unit is stand-alone like I have it. You do have to be careful as it will kink. I think, overall, value for money wise it’s pretty good. A 30m hose with holder and fittings for this price is pretty good.

Not straight forward to assemble as can be a little bit fiddly but follow the pictures and it doesn’t take long. Take the hosepipe off the roll. One end of the hosepipe connects to the casing and once done roll the pipe back onto the holder and cut off 1.5m at the end of the hosepipe ( I used scissors without a problem ). Attach one of the connectors to each end of the 1.5m pipe you’ve just cut. This acts as a connection to the tap and the other end to the attachment on the middle interior of the casing. Then attach the last connector to the end of the hosepipe and your ready to go !. Hope this makes sense ! The hosepipe feels good quality and its fairly light so easy to move around if needed. Rolls back up no problem. Overall good value for money and can recommend without hesitation.

Needs assembling
Great product but disappointed that you have to assemble it yourself. This is strange considering it is a hosepipe. Maybe the manufacturer was cutting assembly costs and passed on the hassle to the customer.

Can’t go wrong with hoselock. Had all the connections needed and good sturdy product. The hose pipe is really thick so less chance of splits and leaks occurring and easy to unroll and reroll and put away.
I wish now I had gone for the 30m rather than the 15m as for about 5 extra you get double the amount of hose which woukd have come in handy.
