A great present for any 1 year old. Pegs are excellent teethers and kids love popping them up and down.
A firm favourite toy
We purchased this toy for our son at Christmas last year, and it has definitely become his favourite! It is a simple yet effective wooden toy which offers great value for money as a small gift or stocking filler. The only downside perhaps is that the small wooden pegs are really easily misplaced (luckily we managed to find some replacements in a charity shop).

Such a lovely, classic toy.
Lots of laughs for little ones. I’ve bought for my own children and then bought a few for gifts because they were such a big hit.
My only worry was with smaller children – putting them in their mouths. The pieces are quite small. I kept it up high until they were a little older and putting everything in their mouth.

It’s a brilliant simple concept. Easy to use, easy to clean and the kids LOVE it. Kids often dont need fancy battery operated toys, just bright colours and repetition.

When we first got this, encouraged by reviews, I was a bit disappointed. My daughter was about 8 months old at that point, and wasn’t very interested. It was so ‘boring’ that we left it at Granny’s after Christmas. Now we’ve just been back to stay with Granny, found the toy and my daughter (14 months) has revised her opinion and now thinks this is the most hilarious game she’s ever seen… Screams of laughter when you ping those pegs, every single time.

I bought this for my daughters 1st birthday and she loves it. At first she struggled to get them into the holes but after some practice, she’s now an expert at it. She loves to put them all in place and then give herself a little clap. Fab buy
Well made and fu
Well made and fun. It became an instant hit with our young grandson. The springs are heavy duty enough to make the pop up characters fly out completely.
Never too early to lea
Although it is meant for an older child I bought it for my 10 month old grandson. It is really developing his hand eye co-ordination. He can after a month place the sticks in the holes. He knows that to press makes the stick jump out but he hasn’t madtered that himself yet! Always tell him the colours so looking forward to when he starts colour matching.

Bought this for my 13 month old grandaughter, who absolutly loves it, she laughs when the ‘people’ pop out of their holes and is very adapt to putting them back in, making this a very good toy to help with dexterity. Would recommend

Bought for my 1 year old for his birthday. I think it’s his favourite toy. He can spend ages playing with it where he doesn’t normally have a huge amount of patience for one toy. So I’d say it’s fab to calm down an active child!

This is the second time I have bought this toy now, once 5 years ago for my daughter, and then again for my next daughter. It’s really well made. Match the colours, hand eye coordination, and then learning to make the little men pop up. Lovely toy.

Popular with kids up to about 5 years.
Bought this for my grandson who is 10 months old, he can’t manage it yet but loves to see the pegs jump off. His big sister can manage it and makes them turn into missiles with a little bit of force but it’s stood up very well to rough treatment, highly recommended.

Timeless favourite
This was a favourite toy for our two daughters and so we recently bought it again for our granddaughter who also seems to love it. Simple classic design which is timeless and full of play value. Would definitely recommend from about 7 months old.

Fun toy for baby
9 month old loves this. Giggles happily when we pop toys up for her. She really seems to love the little stick men which we find all over the place after she crawls around clutching them in her little hands. Only challenge is keeping all the pieces together once she is on manoeuvres

Bought this for my 15 month old. She loves putting the pegs in the slots, and it’ll be good for colour matching a bit later too. It’s a simple toy, but can keep her engaged for ages. Good value and well made.

Love this toy! My daughter age 1.5yrs loves playing with it. It is really simple; a wooden block with 4 spring holes and 4 corresponding wooden peg people. Simple but keeps my daughter amused for a good while: swapping the pegs around, springing the people up, stuffing food in to the holes!

My 14 month old absolutely loves this game. This is the only game that really keeps her sat down, playing for ages. The fact that two different people purchased the same toy for her speaks volumes. You won’t regret this purchase and I’m sure your child will enjoy it, if not at first then definitely after a few months if younger than 1.

Nothing to dislike about this product. It is a smallish smith wooden toy easy to play with for little fingers. My grandson as all babies put the little pop ups straight in mouth no need to worry they too big to choke on and very smooth. Easy colour slots and easy pop ups .

Lots of giggles!
This was loved my the baby and the toddler!! Bought laughs and giggles all round !! little fingers can press the wooden peg people into the hole and the and they spring out. The baby found it hilarious!!

Lots of play value
My granddaughter likes little wooden toys. There was one of these at my other daughters house and she loved playing with it. Unfortunately her Aunties dog chewed the pins. I found the same toy on Amazon and got her one of her own. She still loves it. She spends ages matching the coloured pegs to the right coloured holes and pinging them out and starting again. A lot of fun from a very simple toy.

Lovely toy for the price
I bought this when my daughter was 6mths old. Straight away she liked pulling the pegs out of the holes and chewing on them. A few months later she learnt to put the pegs back in. Now at 1 year old she likes to put them back in the right way up. I’m sure she will continue to play with this as she learns to match the colours and make the pegs pop out. Lovely, good quality toy for the price.

Amazing yet simple toy! My son loves it. Well crafted and absolute bargain for a well made wooden toy.
Perfect for my year old granddaughter. Simple toy but she loves it and plays with it for ages. Forgot to post this review, but 3 months on, it is still her ‘go to’ favourite toy. She looks for it when she comes in and has a play with it before she moves onto anything else. Other little ones visiting play with it too. So much pleasure for a small price. Children love simple things, they don’t have to have expensive electronic things.
This teaches them coordination, counting, colours, how to share, and they have fun. My own children had this, now my grandchildren.

Better than plastic rivals
Brought this for my sons 1st birthday in a couple of months. I’ve taken it out the box and had a look at it and the quality is great. It’s sturdy and easy for little fingers to manipulate. Much better than it’s plastic rivals. It’s a simple toy, but great to get little minds working and learning. Would definitely recommend.

The best children's toy
This is the best toy. It looks so plain but children LOVE it. It was the single thing that got my son crawling! And even now he’s 18 months old it’s still his favourite toy. He loves making the little stick men ping across the room. I’ve bought it for loads of other new mums too now!

This is hands down the best toy we have bought. My 2.5 year old received it at 10 months and plaid with it constantly for over a year. Several times a day. After a brief rotation (2-3 months) it’s back since 2 weeks, and it’s just as favored. She uses it differently than before, to see how high it can fly across the room, to color sort, and she also uses the pegs in her imaginative play.
It’s now my go-to present for young children (8-16 months).

Simple yet fun toy! Only problem is the little men are easy to lose, they go flying across the room and if you don’t pick them up straight away they can get lost under furniture or the children put them in with other toys and I don’t know where they end up!

Such a lovely toy and a joy to own. My daughter (7 Months) can’t make them pop up yet but she loves taking the little pegs out of the box and having a good nibble! I am always finding them around the house as she likes to hold them – There is definitely something enchanting about this toy that I can’t put my finger on! My daughter is certainly very taken with it and it is one that will grown with her. A beautiful, quality item. I couldn’t be happier.
