It’s really good and does an incredible job, not noticed any particular hike in my energy bills since using it. It is very loud though, it does have a silent function but makes almost no difference.

I purchased this for a friend who has damp issues in their (very old) recently purchased property. A number of their walls have very bad issues with damp/condensation and they are absolutely delighted with how effective this Dehumidifier has been. Please be aware that my friend is aware (as should potential purchasers of this unit) that this is only a short term/temporary solution and a damp specialist has been consulted regarding the chronic/long term damp issues of the property).
I chose this Model as it is the ideal size for the property (a fairly small 2 bedroom terraced house) and also for its its list of specifications. Power consumption is respectably low compared to most competitors units for the size (it may require operating for extended periods for severe damp issues) and it is claimed to remove up to approximately 12 litres of water per day (this is quoted as a maximum).
There are numerous safety/auto shutdown features built into the unit (if the water container requires emptying for instance) which is important if the unit is left operating for long periods unattended.
The unit is fairly easy to move around (for its weight and size) with a sturdy built in carrying handle as it is best operated as close as possible to the location where it it is most needed. Carrying the unit up a staircase should not be a major issue for anyone reasonably physically fit.
The unit can be connected to an external drainage source where this is available and can also be used to dry out damp clothing/washing if required. It also filters the air as it operates so should help improve the air quality and slightly reduce the effects of anyone who suffers from Asthma or Hay fever. The one complaint with this unit (as other reviewers have pointed out) is that this is DEFINITELY NOT “silent”. It can be heard from at least 20 feet away even in “silent” mode. My friend is unable to sleep with the unit operating but of course some individuals may not be as sensitive or may become accustomed to the steady hum (even when in “silent” mode). It is not “noisy” and may be quieter than some competitors units but it is DEFINITELY NOT “silent”. I feel the Manufacturer should alter their wording regarding this as it is “fairly quiet” but NOT “silent” and may be false advertising. It is not a “deal breaker” for my friend however and the unit is left turned off at night.
This Dehumidifier has been a godsend and my friend is absolutely delighted with it. The affected areas of damp have been dried out (albeit temporarily) with regular use (the underlying damp issues remain and will require professional attention in the near future) and it has prevented water/damp potentially ruining a recently purchased bed and sofa. The overall comfort factor of the property has been substantially improved with the humidity levels now significantly reduced (the humidity level is shown on the unit as a percentage and independent measuring devices have confirmed the readings are accurate).

Decent enough de-humidifie
This extracts moisture OK, it’s useful that you can set the target humidity level, it has a nice digital display.
This has a ‘silent’ mode, this is ironic as it is only slightly less noisy than the jet engine noise of the standard setting! It doesn’t bother me as the only time it’s ever on it is shut in a room on it’s own.
Overall I am happy with this unit, it is reasonably compact, looks modern, and is not unduly heavy.
Economical to ru
Bought this to help dry clothes instead of using my tumble dryer. Works brilliantly. Electric bills dropped considerably. Also we live in a park home and use it occasionally throughout the home to remove additional moisture. Not as manoueverable as I hoped especially on carpet and not as quiet on silent mode as we hoped but does its job well.
Excellent machine
We bought this to try and stop the mould that kept appearing around our window frames and in two corners of the ceiling in our bedroom and en-suite. We kept cleaning it away but, it kept coming back within a few days.
Started using this and from day one, no more mould. We were amazed how much water it collects every day.
It is easy to move around as it has a big handle on the top, but it is rather heavy (especially when full of water).
I would suggest emptying the water before it gets full, otherwise it does fill up to the top of the reservoir and it can be tricky not to spill the water when walking to the sink to empty it.
You can not say it is quiet, even on the so called “silent” mode, which by the way is not silent.
It does make a low noise and there really isn’t much difference between the normal and silent mode. But, saying that, we used it 24/7 when we first got it and we slept through the noise without a problem, even though I am a light sleeper. I don’t think everyone would be able to sleep with it on, and I noticed in the reviews before I bought it, that people mentioned the noise. Of course you could just turn it off when you want to sleep.
To sum up, I am absolutely delighted with this machine, it does exactly what it said it would and we are moisture and mould free.
Dries out the bathroom really well
Love how this dries out our otherwise never dry bathroom, a sporty family means the shower is in very regular use, the fan/window open does not manage to keep the room dry. The dehumidifier has solved this. Uses very little energy. Not sure why they bother with a ‘silent mode’ tho, it’s not much different to normal mode, definitely not silent!
It’s crazy how much water it takes out of the air each day, helping to solve our conde station mould issue.
Does the job for a small room
Purchased for my extension as it’s next to my bathroom. In the winter when it’s cold abd I have a shower, the condensation was dripping down the cold bathroom tiles and also the walls in my extension.
This seems to be doing it’s job but I do have to keep it on for about 2-3 hours after my shower.
I haven’t noticed a significant increase in my bills but let’s see how I get on after the energy hikes..?!
Took 3 weeks but our house is damp free.
We purchased this product after doing a kitchen renovation and found damp behind a cabinet area it was very damp and very moldy and appears to just be picking up condensation from the kitchen activities and a bathroom adjacent. We ran it continuously for 3 weeks in Nov ’21, every 8 hours we were dumping 12L of water The first week the unit was showing 70-85% humidity after 3 weeks we were only getting half the water in 8 hours and a week after that we were getting 1/4 of the water so the unit has reduced the amount of moisture in the house. We now run it 1 or 2x per week for 8 hours and the house humidity is at 55%. It’s small (smaller than carry-on luggage) and light. We move it around the house as needed. It’s not quiet but it’s also not loud. Now we usually run it over night or when we’re out for the day.
Energy cost: Running it 24/7 in Nov. it increased our electric bill 12 from our monthly average rate.
Great product - Amazing customer service
Received the product and found it to work perfectly. The Wi-Fi connection is easy to set up and the app works well, making it easy to control from elsewhere in the house or even when out and about.
With the unit on dryer mode, laundry drying time and associated house smells are cut considerably – I have no window condensation any more and laundry dries on the rack in less than a day.
On silent mode it is barely noticeable until the compressor kicks in – and even then it’s not particularly loud, which was something I was worried about! Castors make moving it around a breeze.
The real reason to get this over other products out there is simple – amazing customer service. The first unit I ordered suffered a malfunction meaning that it did not operate on anything other than max setting.
Within 3 days of informing the company and sending a video of the problem, I had a replacement unit delivered to my door at no extra cost.

A year after we bought this very good product my husband dropped and broke the water tank. I got in touch with the firm in Greece and heard back really promptly and a new part was organised, dispatched and received a day later. Absolutely amazing after sales customer service. Dehumidifier does exactly the job It was needed for.
I needed a something that helped with drying my washing as it can not be dried during the winter months in the UK. I believe I found the answer with the Inventor Dehumidifier EVA-II Pro as it had a drying function as well as a Smart function that works out the humidity levels and runs itself at the most economical setting.
It worked like a charm and it’s certainly more economical than using a 2kw heater. -It will take a little longer to dry than a heater but if one is not in a hurry, then this is the perfect item for the drying job. I must also add that when I had an issue with the item, it was dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. The company was extremely helpful and I thank them for this.

Bought this after a lot of research as I wasn’t too sure about the different types and sizes. This works extremely well and removes the moisture from the air in the upstairs of our house ( 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom landing corridor and stairs) if we leave the door from kitchen to stairs open it draws the moisture from the kitchen as well ( we have an airing rack on pulleys above kitchen radiator which creates a lot of moisture) .
It is placed on the passage way connecting the stairs to the 2nd bedroom and bathroom and works very well across all the areas described.
It is easy to move and small enough to not be in the way, noise level is quieter than I’d expected and not an intrusive sound or tone.
I would recommend this and if I ever needed another one I would definitely buy another one of these.

did the job
Recently had a garage conversion. all the walls were replastered which resulted in alot of damp issues . After waiting several weeks to allow the walls to dry out we decided we needed more help. this has done a great job. first few nights was 3/4 full after a while went to 1/3 full. Cannot complain. Have not tried it on quiet mode as was not necessary so cannot really mark on that.

In my 118 year old house that had a bad damp problem these have stopped the water running down the walls and windows which was soaking the carpets and rotting the floor boards, mold and mildew on walls, furniture and soft furnishings.
At first I was emptying them two to three times a day but now it is down to about once every two days and them not running all the time anymore.
Occasionally move them from one room to another to check and see if damp is creeping back in but keeping the doors in all the rooms open mitigates any build up in a room.

It doesnt take much space. It as a big enough water tank. My electricity bill hasn’t gone much up. A bit on the Loud even on silent mode.

Room must be warm. If it’s really cold the grid does freeze and water will overflow. I put mine on a small tray, Its easy to move about and does not leave wheel indents in carpet. Mine is in my dining room which leads to the garden so room can get cold. It does warm the room too a little. The weather has been extra cold so a Little warmth and it works brilliantly.

Works well, good value for money.
Very pleased with this dehumidifier so far. Works very well and efficiently, if a little noisy, but I can put up with that as it meets my needs. Before purchasing, I carried out quite a comprehensive research into different makes/models of dehumidifiers within a reasonable price range and this one appeared to be the best value for money and so far is proving correct, in my opinion anyway.

The Inventor Fresh removed twice the amount of water our desiccant dehumidifier extracted for half the consumed electric energy. Amazing efficiency. It is rated at 200w but our gauge showed it works at 155w (the desiccant is rated at 330w, gauge showed 315w). Perhaps it automatically adjusts the level of power depending on the conditions, but didn’t find anything relative in the instructions manual.
The size is more compact than the competitors and that was an important reason for us to purchase it. Not too heavy and the casters help move it around.

Removes bucket loads of wate
I bought this dehumidifier for a damp and cold attic room. I also bought a much more expensive, and Which Magazine recommended, product for another attic room. The Inventor is excellent- the other dehumidifier was returned – it was far inferior.
The only downside is that it’s very full when it switches itself off making it a bit tricky to empty without spilling. It’s also heavy but has a handle and castors
Overall, I would highly recommend and will pay little attention to Which recommendations in the future

This isa compact, mobile dehumidifier which woorks well. Unfotunately the design means you have to turn the machine to face the wall if it is to be left in situ as the Intake is at the back and blasts the cooler feeling air out the top. Also the Silent mode is not much quieter than full force, BUT it works efficiently and sooks the moisture out of the house which is what it is here for. Energy efficiency – I do not know.
I did not pay full attention when purchasing this (too many tabs open and urgently needed a 2nd one).
Pros – very proficient at sucking up moisture.
Neutral – , it’s a big and hefty piece of kit.
Cons- if I had paid attention when buying it, would have gone for a bigger capacity tray (20l) as I’m emptying it twice a day in my damp flat. It’s louder then I would like. The tray is not spill proof – one which was better enclosed and with a handle would have been preferable.
My fault for not paying enough attention, but this is good otherwise and I’d recommend.

Neat compact size,accepatable noise level, does not look obtrusive in home, expected a seperate laundry drying function but does not, it is incorperated into normal settings, having said that it seems to work well and certainly pulls the moisture out the air in our little 2 bedroom flat moister level reading by seperate meter down to 45% and condensation greatly reduced.

The drop in noise level when the “silent” running was selected was in no way as great as I anticipated. In all other respects the unit has performed well.

Although the humidity digital reading on this unit seems wildly inaccurate (comparing it with an accurate hygrometer) it certainly does the job. I switch it on and off manually and have it set to ‘constant’ and it certainly performs well and quickly reduces the humidity. No condensation in the kitchen. I am pleased with the purchase.

It works
We had a real problem with black mould on the walls and window sills of a north facing bedroom. Within a day of installation not only had it removed the condensation in the bedroom but also throughout the apartment. A complete success.

Nice and compact, easy to move around, low energy consuptiom but its surprisingly noisy. I brought the 20l one as well which is a lot quieter than the 12l! No “smart” mode which is a shame.

Last year I got a window vac because every morning our windows were covered in condensation and we started to get mould in the corner of the rooms. Spraying to kill it lasted days.
Aside from killing ten minutes every morning the window vac failed to make a difference.
This year after a week of window vacing (is that a word? Let’s go with it) I got exasperated and bought this dehumidifier, fully expecting a miniscule difference and resigned to chalking up another significant waste of money.
Oh my! I was wrong.
It filled up in no time, clearly far more effective than I’d expected.
After a day of running solidly and four tank loads of water emptied we noticed a difference in the condensation on the windows. After two days they were bone dry and we were emptying it a lot less.
The mould hasn’t returned a week after we sprayed it, whereas previously it would be back in three or four days.
It’s a nice portable unit with sensible buttons and an easy to empty tank. It’s also clearly powerful enough to make a difference to a four bedroom house.
The only downside is ‘silent’ mode is really just ‘less noisy’ but it’s quite soothing really, I’m happy to listen to it while I sleep. Around the level of a large tower fan.

Three fan level settings allow for very quiet to quiet noise levels in use. Comprehensive controls provide different mode settings that will allow users to find their best run cycle. We use the auto run/timed setting and the difference it has made is remarkable – no more condensation!
Good customer service, replacing broken unit quickly

I’ve used a few others but this one stands out as works v well . It’s fairly quiet for as robust as it is and the 10 litre tank or option to drain is really good . Highly recommend

My only critical comment is that the cable is not long enough.
The cable is not long enough for where my power points are located but otherwise it’s fine in every other aspect.
Great preformance, collects a lot of water.
Great performance, worked well out of the box, I use the drain tube because the collector is a bit small and it fills quickly. It can collect over 12 litres a day!
Good value
This dehumidifier works a treat, not to noisy and cheap to run.
You do need to empty it fairly often, but at least that shows it’s working well.
Effective dehumidifie
After using for 3 months, I still love this. Yes, it’s a bit noisy (quiet mode not much quieter) , but it sucks so much moisture! I need to empty it every day which is easy to do, and air quality much improved.
This hudemidifier is nice and compact , not big and clumbsy. Easy to move
Very pleased with this item as it fits lovely under my small table. Very good on keeping my window panes nice and dry and good at catching the steam from my iron when ironing. Easy to empty water out and you can see how much water is in the tank.

Highly recommended
If you have problems with a damp room, this machine will get you dried out. If you think it isn’t working, because it isn’t collecting any water, then you’re probably trying to use it where it isn’t required.
My house has been a much dryer place over the winter months with this dehumidifier on the go. A really good investment, well worth the money, and outstanding VfM too.
Dealing with damp
The dehumidifier was a gift to a friend. It has helped reduce the level of humidity in her house very significantly. This has improved their health too.
Suck up that we
Found out my boiler had been leaking and my carpet was soaked. Ordered this product that was delivered the next day and my floor is lovely and dry now. It worked a treat. And I’ve now had my boiler fixed.

Great dehumidifie
Had this running in the kitchen of my house and have been amazed at how much water it collected. Maybe considered slightly noisy if you are running overnight in a bedroom but didn’t stop me from getting any sleep when it was placed in a different room. It is easy to move from room to room and seems to be very efficient.

Dehumidife
This is an excellent water catcher. Fortunately we leave it a closed room at night where the noise doesn’t disturb us as it is quite loud. It is also very heavy and a bit tricky to drag around. But it is an efficient dehumidifier.
Water tank too small
Very good but 2 bad points are the small tank and the fact that on auto it only stops the compressor but not the fan. I use this for my garage and have it with a hose and bucket so not so much of a problem. Because of this I did not choose this a few weeks later when I needed another for indoors.

Overall good has draw backs
Its rather loud with little difference in normal mode against the quite mode, its comparable to a tower fan on full or half as loud as a typical vacuum. I dont think it can be used at bed time unless your a very very heavy sleeper.
It does extract a lot of water depending on humidity in your room and it measurable and i can feel the quality of the feeling fresher or lighter.
It heavys but it has a convenient handle which helps moving it about. It has wheels but its only good for pushing forward or backward the wheels dont have high clearance and dont rotate.
Compact and efficient.
Bought to replace a unit that had failed after 6 years,it sits in our bedroom and collects a frightening amount of moisture.It’s compact,not too bothered about the noise as we don’t run it at night.If it lasts as long as the last one I will be happy enough.

This is a very effective dehumidifier. It’s hugely improved our condensation problem. It’s portable between rooms but you have to lift it if you have carpets rather than roll it on a hard floor. It removes litres of water from the air.

It actually works very well extracting water from the air. I was surpriced how fast fill the deposit. I would recommend it to sleep with it because it is a bit noisy, but not too much. Unless you have OCD you can sleep with it on. However I just put it hours before going to sleep until the humidy is low and I turn it off when I am going to sleep (during the night the room goes up by 10% humidy max). It is easy to move. It would have being better that the deposit is a little bit bigger, but it is also not small.

Fairly good
What I like about this dehumidifier is, unlike others it can work at Lower temperature very efficiently. But it’s so noisy, even if you put it on sleep mode, which can be a deal breaker for light sleeper .

It certainly pulls water out of the air better than the last two makes of similar size units that we have used. It is louder than those units, even on the quite setting, but the noise is all down to the powerful fan that efficiently stirs the air in the room to help remove moisture evenly. I was a bit dubious buying such a cheap unit, but needn’t have been. This unit is very well made and performs excellently.

I have had this product for 10 months and I have to say it has saved me thousands of pounds due to damp and mould in my home. The dehumidifier collects litres of water from my large room which unfortunately has no windows!
The first few days I noticed less mould spots on the wall and less condensation around the windows.
I can honestly say this is the best product I have purchased to permanently remove the mould and damp from my walls.
Very easy to empty and clean, there is a noise but it helps to put my baby to sleep.
I have had some communication with the seller and I have to say they have responded quickly and professionally.

Great dehumidifie
Bought this to deal with a leak in my loft, that had left the beams wet (with obvious water absorption), and various items in my loft were damp.
Over the 1st few days I had to empty the water tank as it was completely full within four hours. I am now using it every other day and the tank is a third to a half full.
There are 2 settings for noise levels, which I assume affects water absorption rates, but I have used the noisier setting, as I can’t hear the noise from below.
The timer can be set in half hour increments, and humidity can be set between 35 (standard level) and 90.
I have had one leak from the machine, but that’s because I accidentally knocked out the plug where the hose pipe goes (for continuous use).
When you 1st use the dehumidifier you need to remember to let it sit and settle (like you would a fridge) for several hours.
It is a bit heavy to move, especially as I had to get it in the loft.
For the price, compared to similar items, I personally think it is worth every penny.

Before: Our kitchen has a wall mounted extractor and a single-glazed, non-opening window. Whilst not entirely open-plan it has no door and leads into the living room. Result, steamed up windows in kitchen and lounge which – particularly in cold weather – is slow to clear. In addition, our living room windows accumulate condensation overnight.
After: We have had this dehumidifier for less than a week and my goodness what a transformation. No condensation on living room window before or after drawing the blinds. No steam on window during cooking. Kitchen window now dry. We ran it for 24 hours initially and since then set it on the timer to run during the night. We switch it on when we cook or wash up. Haven’t used it for clothes drying yet. As for noise during operation, it isn’t intrusive, certainly less noisy than the wall extractor or boiling the kettle. We don’t have to turn up the tv to compensate anyway! My husband wears a hearing aid and prefers we use “Silent / Night-time” mode – this slows the fan. Plenty of room in the tank for the collected water – we pour around 750 ml / around 1.5 pints away each day. We haven’t seen any appreciable increase on our electricity bill. This is the first time we have used a dehumidifier and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Best grow room dehumidifie
Very powerful, is currently taking 10litres per 24hour period out of my grow tent, also you can set the desired humidity so it will get to the humidity you want and maintain it there automatically would highly recommend for a grow room or any other space that requires a constant rh to be maintained

Great dehumidifie
Great dehumidifier it made a huge difference while plugged in on our landing. Had to empty it a couple times a day at first but it soon reduced as time went on showing that it’s doing its job. The only downside is that the “quiet” mode doesn’t make much sound difference so I opt not to use it. The sound becomes white noise and you can tune it out.

Does what it should
Using this in our attic which was soaking from the roof due to the humidity caused by snow outside. After 2 days the attic is dry and nothing stored there was ruined.

Very pleased with the amount of water it extracts on a daily basis, normally about 1 to 2 litres depending on the humidity. I would definitely recommend this dehumidifier to anyone and the price was great too.

Early days but so far so good
I have had this product less than a week. I initially bought it because we recently cleaned our carpets and started to notice a smell. I read a dehumidifier can help to reduce the moisture in the carpets.
I have not noticed the smell since using the dehumidifier. It is noisier than expected but I do not consider it a nuisance as I tend to put the dehumidifier on in another room and set a timer.
I have also read it can be used to reduce moisture in bathrooms since we currently have mould, I can’t comment on this at such an earlier stage. It had helped dry clothes by placed the dehumidifier in the bathroom with a clothes drying rack and dried most pieces within 24 hours.
It is heavy and therefore tricky to manoeuvre, I have considered buying a smaller dehumidifier to keep upstairs to save carrying this one up and down stairs
