Great quality value exercise bike
This exercise bike was really easy to set up and is great quality and value for the price. I was looking for an exercise bike that would keep me fit without breaking the bank. I’m pleased to say this offers both, looks great and is also comfortable to use. The seat also supports your back meaning that you can sit and comfortably pedal without causing any strain or tension to the back area. The resistance levels are good and really give your legs a workout while the pedalling action gets the heart pumping and the cardio system going. I’ve only been using this exercise bike for a week and along with following a healthy diet I am starting to shed the unwanted weight. If you’re looking for a good quality fitness bike to kickstart your wellness routine, I can highly recommend this product.

Good value for money, but significant shortcomings
For us this recumbent exercise bike represents extremely good value for money, but this budget bike does have some significant limitations which might make a more expensive model a much better buy for some people.
o The front of the bike does need to be raised a bit to stop your heels hitting the ground. We accomplished this using two chocks intended to be used with the front wheel of a bike on an indoor trainer (circa 12.00).
o The overall length adjustment is unwieldy and you would definitely not be wanting to change the seat-to-pedal distance on a regular basis. Fortunately, the two of us using it require the same setting. It would be totally impractical otherwise.
o Initial assembly was a bit tricky and you could easily damage the wires if you did not know what you were doing. However we managed to assemble it fairly quickly without mishap.
o Our bike arrived undamaged, which does not seem to be the experience of some buyers.
o The response time of the heart-rate monitor is too slow for short sprints. This is easily remedied by using a separate monitor.
o The seat is not adjustable. The back rest is, for me, a bit too far back from the seat itself. This could be easily remedied with a cushion although, to be honest, I have not found my back hurting (yet) as a result of the slightly slouching position that I find myself adopting.
o It would be easy to break the monitor/display unit by heaving on it. Solution: don’t!
So, in summary, it is not perfect – but take a look at other recumbent exercise bikes and you will see that the price is extremely good. If you don’t need a RECUMBENT bike specifically, then you are a fool to spend anything much at all. Good ones are readily available at Garage Sales (or whatever they are called in your locale).

I love it. It arrived much earlier than expected which pleased me very much. It took just under an hour for me to put it together alone. Instructions were very easy to follow. It’s very comfortable to use, the monitor gives me all the relevant info I want, and on the whole the product is as good as I’d use in the gym. I highly recommend this product to anyone of any reasonable age. My father, 77 years old, used it and loves it. We all do. A great, value for money, sturdy product. If you’re in the market for one; buy this one. I’ve been using proper gyms, not snowflake gyms, for over 30 years and this product is the business. You won’t be dissatisfied unless you’re an idiot.
Great Bike!
I have never used an exercise bike, so cant compare – but this has many excellent points. It can sit in at the edge of a room without being visually intrusive – as its quite low. Its very comfortable to use – and I have experienced no back pain, no strain and really enjoy my sessions. It did need a bit of strength to assemble – but now is easy to move around if necessary, seems totally stable, and gives one all the information needed. I have a small problem with the pulse, as I have bad circulation, and very cold hands – it often cant find my pulse – but that is the only problem which has nothing to do with the bike. The best thing was the speed of delivery. Thank you for a great aid to fitness in filthy weather!
Prompt service and decent product for price
Early days but delivery was prompt ,a mistake on my part over payment was sorted ,communication was good and so far the bike is fine.The seat is a little hard but easily solved by use of a cushion!
Basic, sturdy easy to use bike for those with or without back problems
Bought due to back and hip problems and research suggested this was better than an upright bike. Reviews for this bike we’re very good. My son put it together in less than an hour on his own, straightforward and no issues. It is really sturdy and quiet. I’m using it everyday on lower tensions to slowly build my muscles up and improve my cardio. My son who is 22 loves it and is able to do his normal gym bike training despite gyms being shut at the moment or when the weather is against him in the uk!! As other reviewers have mentioned the seat is a little hard after a while but simply solved using a cushion. Monitor is basic but I like the scan feature which scrolls through heart rate, distance, speed, calories and time. Basic model that does everything I need.
Surprisingly good quality!
Bought for my partner who needed something to get back into her fitness regime. Knowing how much exercise bikes can go for I’ll admit to not having high hopes for this one which is at the “value” end of the spectrum.
The bike itself is very easy to assemble (though I would recommend having an extra pair of hands to hold things in place as you bolt things together) and all the fixings (including the supplied multitool and allen key) are of good quality. All but two of the bolts are in situ and just need to be removed so that you can attach the back rest (eg) and then screw back into place. It took me about half an hour with my two 6 year olds helping.
Once up and running, the bike is extremely smooth and quiet in operation (although the beep from the bike computer is obnoxiously loud!) and offers a fairly decent amount of resistance. As others have said, this is more for cardio and toning rather than getting “Tour de France”-style thighs and calves.
In short – a very good option for those looking to keep their fitness up without having to venture into the cold and wet!
Impressive
This is well designed and very sturdy when built. The cycling action feels so much better than bikes that don’t have fly wheels. The controls are good and the heart rate monitor is a bonus. The only niggle is the method for changing the seat distance which requires the seat end to be lifted as you try to engage the screw. This isn’t an issue if you don’t need to change the distance often, but when sharing with somebody with shorter legs it’s a regular occurrence and can be a pain. This would be the case with most recumbent exercise bikes, so it’s not specific to this one. All in all, a great value item that has helped me to keep moving through multiple lockdowns and I would definitely recommend it.
Well engineered and straight forward assembly.
Item was well packaged and easy to unpack. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bolts were located in the parts to be fitted ensuring the correct bolts are used in the right items (no sorting out a bag of different sized nuts and bolts and wondering if have selected the correct ones). Runs very smoothly, is comfortable to use, the display is a good size and clear. Very impressed with the unit.
Useful sturdy recumbent exercise bike
I like it overall, but is it just me, but there seems no difference in the resistence settings, it doesn’t change when you turn the dial. Screen lights up and you just press it to move from one setting to another.
But it just says 0000 or 8888 to me.

This exercise bike is much better than I expected. It was easy to assemble. It runs smoothly. It is very sturdy. I can’t get the pulse monitor to work but the time, distance and calories count work very well. I am very pleased with it.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The exercise bike comes with brilliant instructions that are very easy to follow and all necessary tools. The fixtures and fittings are well made and fit perfectly. It was very easy to assemble on my own and up and running in no time at all. The performance is fantastic. It is virtually silent to use and has a very smooth pedal rotation. The resistance settings are varied and make for a good workout. It is also extremely comfortable and surprisingly compact.

This suits our needs though it’s not super comfortable it is ok. It’s pretty basic but I enjoy a go everyday.

My original bike arrived with damage to the wiring rig inside the body , apparently caused at the factory by them quality testing it !
Company very promptly replaced the entire bike and it works very well.
If you are over 6ft , there is a slight issue with your feet hitting the ground on each revolution unless you point your toes on the pedals. Otherwise good

Beautifully presented,beautifully engineered very clear instructions but it has a weak link~the monitor/computer is provided with only 2 screws when in fact there are 4 integral screwed sockets.Another pair of screws should be obtained and fitted to provide a robust and secure unit.
Impressive exercise for the money
I found the set up of the bike from its components quite straightforward. One person could do it but two would be better, especially if you have mobility problems as I do. In use the bike is very comfortable and pleasant to use and will provide a very useful range of resistances. The bike is very compact and I’ve found it easy to move around. If you follow the instructions carefully and take your time you will find the whole experience very pleasant and rewarding.

Only doing 100 calories a day, but hopefully it will keep my weight steady until gardening season really starts off again.
Pleased with the machine, my first exercise bike. I’m arthritic, hence the recumbent choice. Read a review where the comments about the seat was it was hard. It is. Fortunately I had a spare cushion. Problem solved.
Depending on if I continue to use the machine I may upgrade to the Pro version.
Have to sit forward as my legs won’t reach pedals Does t seem to adapt to last two holes, . Needed ye bike to e er I’ve as my diabetes level had increased during the COVID outbreak. It brought the level down from 82 to 67 in just one week. Can’t make head nor tail of the numbers on the dial but that doesn’t really bother me,u
Great for knee injury recovery exercise
My wife has a knee injury and wouldn’t/couldn’t use a normal bike. So this has been great, she struggled to turn the pedal at first but is now training twice a day for up to two hours a day while watching tv or listening to music. 317 miles in the first 14 days. Knee is certainly improving.
Better than a treadmill for leg exercise.
This has improved my leg muscles post op. Just one problem is that the pulse rate doesn’t seem to work but I already had a finger pulse’oxy meter so not a problem.

So far so good. Bought for my wife who needs to strengthen her leg muscles.

I have been ‘Shielded’ since March 2020 having become Diabetic/Hypertensive after being hit by a Car and having to have Surgery for Crushed Vetebrae etc,Subsequent Limited Mobility,Permanent Pain means exercise is a challenge at best!Add ‘Lockdowns’ and I had to find some help. This was just what I needed! It arrived early,took me an 3/4 of an hour to assemble,and I have used it every day since.I stated at 15 min,then 20 next day working up to 30 min after first week with the intention of getting to 30 minutes twice a day as standard.So far,So good! No problems,no abnormal pain,Cramps or ‘Complications’ At 62 with my history I’m really quite pleased!
I had got my Blood Sugar/Pressure and body Weight down prior and was really worried that the restrictions especially in the Winter would cause me to regress.No worries if I can keep this up! I get ready,Switch my Radio on,and off I go! If you want an exercise aid that is a reasonable price,fairly ‘user friendly’ Quiet and easy (I find it Fun) to use,this is a very good option! P.S. I find I can just get by with my Size 11 Feet,but can see that the pedal height from the floor could be an issue an may need securely raising,but I believe that the machine is robust and well designed enough for this to be readily done,though I
have no need at this time!Perhaps the Manufacturers could consider fabricating and selling an adaptor in future.
Solid build has its disadvantages
My first impression during assembly was how heavy the components were – it is clear why modern road cycles use a lot of aluminium and titanium alloys rather than mild steel. But a lightweight stationary bike might not be stable. However, the assembly instructions are extremely clear and easy to follow (apart from wrongly stating that 2 screws rather than 4 are used to mount the display unit).
For use in my household, I need to be able to adjust easily for leg length and found it necessary to apply a lubricant to allow the two main box sections to slide inside each other, and hope the electrical connections can cope in the long term. As mentioned by another reviewer the pedals come close to the floor and the toe straps have to be set to allow the foot fully onto the pedal, and I may end up raising the front of the bike on a block.
But overall, a very satisfactory, quiet, machine for excercising indoors and a great improvementt on our previous wholly mechanical exercise bike.

I have T12 L1L2 bulging discs, the back pain is something else .I am nearly 40 years now and suffer from severe back pain ,believe me when i say that we take our health and body for granted when we are younger .
I went to the gym and been advised, even after notifying the gym member of staff that i have the bulging discs condition to use equipment that would not corespond my medical condition,power bag ,rower .
Makes you wonder right ?

After having it delivered i found it very easy to setup , took me 1 hr to mount up all the parts together .
Before using it i sugest you use a anti-adherent mat ,like in the photo .
I cycle 15 miles 30 min every morning,but carefull this can be addictive .

Really happy with this bike
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. Really easy to assemble as the bike comes with the correct tools and all screws in place ready to go. It’s compact so it doesn’t take up much room in my study. I’m 6 ft and there’s plenty of length if your taller. I did have to put a cushion on the seat to soften. Very sturdy and I expect to get a lot of use out of this for years to come.
I have a problem with a knee cartilage that hinders lengthy walks and have had lower back issues in the past. Bike does take pressure off the back and knees and no problem cycling for 45 mins each day, 25-30 kms/hour at level 3 or 4, depending on how I’m feeling. Only issue is it takes a bit of fiddling to adjust the leg length when my wife wants to use it. She’s suffered from sciatica so wants exercise that doesn’t give problems for the lower back or leg — does the job well. Very easy to put together. Wire connections to the display screen are idiot (me) proof. Check the nuts and bolts etc occasionally to ensure everything stays tight and keep sturdy.
I’ve had the item for a couple of days now, and I’m reasonably impressed with its operation. Assembly took just over 30 minutes and was pretty straightforward, though not reading the instructions thoroughly, I initially put the front and rear stabiliser bars on the wrong ends of the cycle. It was less than 5 minutes to put them right.
Loving the recumbent design, which feels more like riding a pedal go-kart than a bicycle. There are ground clearance problems, as others have mentioned, but only if you pedal with the balls of your feet. Leaving the straps off and pedalling with the centres of my feet, I have no issues. The clearance issue is also worse with shoes on than it is barefoot.
The computer works well, though I’m inclined to take the speed and distance measurements with a pinch of salt. A real bonus would be to have the ‘mode’ button replicated close to one of the pulse rate sensors, so you could flick through the settings without leaning forward. I might even do this as a modification. I doubt it’ll be difficult. There is a ‘scan’ mode that cycles through them, but the button would be useful if you wanted to focus on one figure at a time.
The magnetic resistance possibly won’t be strong enough for some people, but is good for me right now. I’m targeting a pulse rate of 140, adjusting the resistance as necessary to achieve it. I can do that without going past level 5 (out of 8) at the moment.
On a hard floor, the centre joint must raise and lower once or twice (depending on where you put your weight) with every turn of the pedals. This creates an annoying tapping noise, though putting a cloth pad under that part of the cycle works just fine.
Prior to lockdown I was going to the gym three times a week and had regular sessions with the neuro physio. I suffer from MS and it has greatly affected my mobility. I need to do exercise to prevent muscle wastage in my legs. Lockdown meant no more gym and no more physio. I am not able to go out walking or anything like that. My general health was on the downturn. I scoured the internet for ideas on exercise bikes. Recumbent bikes were suggested and that’s how I ended up with this bike.
It came well packaged and so easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and all the necessary parts were there. I now have a great little bike that I can exercise on. It is not as good as the gym or physio but it gives me exercise that I so badly need.

Getting this item was just perfect. I only ordered it last week and I received yesterday earlier than the date I was given. Packed very well and easy to assemble. I have tried it once so far but I know that I’m going to enjoy it. This is well worth purchasing
Arrived 3 weeks before expected which was great, used nearly every day since, husband fixed it up by himself but would be easier with two people. Taking it easy so haven,t used the higher resistance levels, but we are quite happy with it, age 62-66. The seat isn’t bad but find I need a cushion, however, I think I would probably need a cushion for any home exercise bike. Happy with purchase, good value for price.
It’s a great bike and we are very pleased with it. However we have had problems. The first one to arrive (and it took a couple of months after ordering), was damaged, though in working order. It had a severely dented body as if something had been dropped on it. JLL were quick to respond and sent a part replacement, which had severed wires. As before they responded quickly and sent a new part bike, sadly the wrong model. I asked them to ring me, since all our correspondence was by email. A courteous man agreed to send a new complete bike which is now working well. My husband is now an expert in constructing these bikes. It took 3 weeks to finally get rid of the 4 large heavy boxes in our shed which JLL agreed to collect. The first two vans that arrived had no room in them. However we are overall pleased, just rather frustrated at the length of time it’s taken to achieve satisfaction.

Good quality machine; good exercise
This arrived ahead of schedule and was easy to assemble since some of bolts and washers are in place and need only to be re-screwed in place. It is a sturdy machine with a smooth action. The length adjusts for the user’s height by means of removing a large bolt on the connecting bar and replacing it. I have put a cushion on the back rest but find the pedals perfectly ok. The monitor was the most fiddly bit to assemble and I can’t read it (as it scans the functions) without my glasses. The resistance is fine for my needs. As a generally useful home bike this is excellent value and looks sturdy enough to last several years.
Being in my 70’s with a history of bad back, I needed to find something to exercise without straining my back. After seeking medical advice I settled for the recumbent bike and ordered 2 from JLL, one for me and one for the wife so we could exercise together. We are very pleased with the quality and they were easy to assemble. After a few days mine developed a fault but after an e mail to them via Amazon, Rob at JLL dispatched a courier with a new bike and arranged collection of the faulty one. Full marks for customer service . We now enjoy our morning sessions and can already feel the benefit . I have no hesitation in recommending both the bike and the company.

good sturdy exercise bike which does cause issue if you have lower back injuries so making it doubly safe. My own critical point is the pedals are low to the floor so the average and above size male feet (im a UK 9) do catch the floor with the heel if you do not angle your feet, but this is a small issue overall.

This is the third Bike I buy. The first one was uncomfortable, the second had a problem with the gears and was difficult to assemble. I am thoroughly enjoying this bike. It took 20 minutes to assemble and was pretty straightforward. This has been comfortable for my back and my behind.

Thrilled to bits with my purchase. Great company to buy from. Cycle went together really easily even if you’re just a little bit handy or able. it would be a problem, I imagine, if you can’t kneel down as the cycle is mostly assembled from a sitting on the floor position. Don’t go looking for the screw packs as they are screwed into the necessary parts so just need taking out before reassembling. My wife had a nasty break to her wrist and hip so its a bit uncomfortable at the moment but i can see it really helping as she gets used to it.

Only criticism is about the delivery. It was left in full view on my front door step. Even though delivery default instructions state it should be left by back porch.

I bought this for exercise, ive now passed the 1,000 km mark and the kit is as stable and working fine as the day we bought it. its easy to assemble, fairly heavy, but sturdy with it. also the revolution is quite, so you can easily watch telly whilst cycling. im still using the first set of batteries as well to power the diital display. I can recommend this product.

I ordered this bike over a year and a half ago after knee surgery (after rupturing my medial ligament and cartilage). It was fantastic to build up my strength again on low levels and now great at helping me exceed my previous fitness level and knee strength. Would definitely recommend it.
Good value for money bike
Easy to assemble, very useful to do cardio while watching tv
Rumbent bikes are much better for people who have little leg strength. One fault with this design is there is no support at the front to assist people with weak leg muscles to stand so they try and grab the display which is only held on by two screws and will break if too much weight is placed on it. Otherwise it goes together quite easily and the included allen key and spanner do the job. The side handles monitor pulse rate which appears on the display and you can also switch to distance, calories, speed and an odometry readout. I can’t verify the accuracy of the readouts. I would suspect the monitor is not very accurate but it provides measurements people can use as a guide to set their goals. There are 8 or so resistance levels on the bike pedalling action, and the seat to pedal separation can be adjusted to fit I would think most leg lengths. I marked it down 1 star for having no handles at the front, but it you have no difficulty getting out of chairs that may not be problem for you./

Enjoyed assembling the bike. Nothing too taxing as all bolts and nuts screwed in to where they belong and not just a bag of bolts and nuts. Couldn’t believe the quality for the price and was even more impressed when I first got on it and pushed down on the pedals. It is completely silent and the resistance range is great with very even resistance across all the positions. Would not hesitate to recommend this product to any body who would like to get fit without going out in the rain.

I decided to switch to a recumbent exercise bike after reading about potential sexual dysfunction following too much use of a traditional, upright bike. This is the first time I’ve used one of these, and whilst I was concerned it might feel awkward, it’s actually very comfortable to use. Being at the cheaper end of the scale, I was worried this model might have a few issues, but it’s hard to fault: it’s completely silent (no squeaks or rattles), the magnetic resistance works well, and the seat and back are wide and comfortable. The best thing about this is that you can stick it in front of the TV, and burn off a few calories whilst being at the perfect height for it not to disturb your viewing. I have only two minor niggles, which I am willing to forgive for the price: 1) it would be nice if the front end was just a couple of inches higher. As it is, you have to angle your feet, or they will hit the floor – however, you soon get used to this, and it becomes something you do ‘automatically’. 2) the monitor has no memory, and will reset if left alone for 5 minutes. So if you are counting your calorie loss, make sure to make a note of where you are up to if you take a 5 minute loo break! Other than that, it’s the best cheap exercise machine I’ve come across so far.
Really impressed with the bike, it was easy to put together and has some cool features like a pulse monitor which actually works well.
It is pretty heavy and feels very solid, so build quality isn’t an issue, also like they include the tools you need to put it together.
Update – Have been using the bike everyday for 3 months now and it’s still working perfectly.
I received this & took me a while to put it together as i wasn’t well. Since using this it helps with my calves as they cramp up, it also helps with breathing & heart rate you can check on the monitor to see how you’re doing. Easy to use & adjustable

Well made product.I paid to have it assembled by company suggested .Excellent service .My only comment would be that the area on the peddle were you put your feet quite small for a large foot .Maybe you could have extra size .Apart from that my husband 6 foot 4 so just about fits

We looked for a long time for a bike that was comfortable to use and we have not been disappointed. The bike is excellent and is exactly what we were looking for. My husband has restricted mobility and it will help him enormously to keep his joints mobile.

I ordered this bike as I have arthritic knees and am awaiting partial knee replacements. Hoping to help build muscle prior to my op and to assist me with the recovery. I love it. It goes to level 10 resistance and I am getting a sweat on at level 5. The only thing I could find tricky is that the seat is rather low, the pulse handles appear strong and should briefly take weight to sit. The running of the bike is super smooth and quiet. I don’t seem to have any instructions on how to use the digital display but I will play until I sort it. I wanted it in my garage but it’s too nice! Currently sat in my lounge so I pedal whilst watching TV!
Had this now for a few months, lost 3 stone with a healthy diet, diff levels resistance so you can build yourself up. I use this 5 days a week for about 30 mins a time. Very comfortable Highly recommend. These sit down bikes are better than your standard bike. Couple of friends have brought on my recommendations and are b happy

Excellent value, but....
First the seat and back rest should be padded, after a few minutes on this, a cushion is required, so put one on first!
Some people state that it hasn’t enough resistance on the higher settings, but I feel sure that after several minutes on the high setting they will not find it so easy, unless they are keen cyclists already, and well used to hard work.

JLL exercise bike
Very good product but not easy to put together as it is very heavy and it has to be moved around to put all the pieces in place. However, it is an excellent exercise bike and very good value for money

Great exercise bike. We found it useful to put a bit of support (a mat) under the slider wheel in the centre of the long part of the frame as it moved slightly.

Just put your feet in the pedals and off you go. It has a read out for speed, distance, heart rate, calories burnt and time done which displays in turn as you cycle. Was able to fit this at the end of the conservatory without taking up much space.

I have been using the bike for more than 3 months now and very much satisfied with it. It has hear rate monitor which some time does not work and many times not accurate. But overall it is a good product. The assembling is easy and build quality is good.
