Great purple shampoo for blonde/silver hai
This is one of the best purple shampoos I have tried. I have highlighted hair and use the this shampoo once/twice per week. Put on wet hair (use a glove- trust me you will need it as the shampoo is quite strong and will dye your hand) and I personally have to leave it on for 5-7 mins before washing off. be careful leaving on too long as your hair will go a purple/lilac shade after a while! I use conditioner afterwards as it does dry your hair out.

I bought this on friday and it was delivered by monday, nice and quick service with the added bonus of being able to track my delivery. When it arrived it was packaged well with no damage to the box or product!, I’d recently had my hair dyed blonde from the middle to ends in an ombre style but it wasnt quite the colour I was after, I was advised to use a purple shampoo to help remove any brassy tones and that’s when I found this!, I cannot recommend it enough!, it is an amazing product and brilliant value for money as a little goes a long way!, as others have mentioned it does stain your hands and edges of the nails but I found if I rinse my hands straight away then use an exfoliating glove which works a treat, no stains. I noticed a difference after the 1st wash, it really did take a lot of the brassy yellow/orange tones out of my hair, I then washed it a second time the day after and omg, I love it!, it’s gone a beautiful ash blonde which is what I was after, I cant believe it!, I now will only use it once in a while to keep the colour. If you have been debating getting it, dont doubt it and go for it you won’t be disappointed. Just wish I took before and after photos to show you

Really works and is an excellent price. This is my second bottle. I’d use gloves though if using it for a long period of time on your hair as stains your hands and face!
Best toner for brassy tones
I read all the reviews before I bought this. The shampoo is great. It has a high pigment content so the more you use or the longer you leave it on the stronger the colour result. I have had so many comments about the colour of my hair including my hairdresser ,who was so impressed she now uses in her own salon and recommends to clients. I use twice a week and leave it on for about 5 mins. ( it will stain your hands if you don’t wash straight away) this keeps my dyed blond hair a lovely pearly ash grey tone. Definitely recommend.
The best purple shampoo you will ever buy..
After using Fudges’ Silver Shampoo for many years, I thought I had already found the best shampoo for my hair.. until I bought this. The value for money is exceptional, and it really does strip out any brassy tones from blonde hair, elongating time between expensive trips to the hairdresser.. After one wash, I was asked if i had just had my hair done. Amazing!
Like other reviews, this shampoo does make a bit of a mess when applying with your hands, but its does wash off! The shampoo itself goes a long way too, only a small amount is needed for a thorough wash, and it smells lovely (like parma violets).
I use this on thick, curly hair once / twice a week, followed up with Joicos conditioner. It leaves my hair silky soft, smelling great and shiny. When I eventually run out of this product, I will certainly be buying another..
Highly reccomend
It’s strong chemicals so is a bit whiffy. Use gloves when applying because you will have purple hands however. This is THE BEST shampoo for knocking out any brassy blonde. Put on hair, wait 10/15 mins. Wash out and apply a deep conditioner treatment and your blonde hair will be sinning and clean looking.

This is like a toner and work so much better than a lot of shampoos. Looks like ink so be careful using. Use sparingly. Sometimes i just use a bit on the ends when it needs brightened
Amazing silver shampoo!
Works wonders for my blonde hair. I’ve never found a silver shampoo that actually works for me so it’s great to have such a large quantity for such a good price. One thing to note is that it can stain your skin for about a day but generally comes off my face straight after a shower.
Does not damage hair - its brillia
This is the second time I’ve purchased this shampoo. It lasts for months and doesn’t dry your hair like other brands. I will only use this on my highlighted hair.

Fantastic shampoo, I dilute it 1 part fanola 3 parts basic Alberto balsam. I only wash my hair twice a week and always use this. I find it leaves my hair too dry if I don’t mix it. I have blonde balayage and it keeps my colour fresh and yellow free

Nothing beats this purple shampoo for keeping brassy tones at bay. I have light grey hair which is hard to maintain but with Fanola, it’s a breeze. I’ve tried most others in the market and this one is a stand out winner. More blue toned than purple but this is probably why this stuff is the best.
The smell isn’t pleasant but it isn’t offensive and as with all purple shampoos this is very drying. That’s nothing a good conditioner or mask won’t fix which I’d recommend to leave in for 10 minutes after using this to get soft non brassy hair.

It’s really good, the only problem I have with it is that it arrived a bit damaged (broken cap) and that it makes my hair so dry after using it – but I guess that’s the same with all purple shampoo.
(I also use the fanola nutricare mask with this, so that takes care of the dryness.)
It does do wonders with toning your hair – took out almost all the yellow and toned down the orange a bit as well.
I’m very impressed with it and will continue to buy again as long as I have blonde hair. The amount should last me for a while though lol.

Super efficient purple shampoo!
Scent is very industrial but still clean. Very high quality shampoo, makes my hair super healthy besides also taking care of the brass teint. I wear gloves when I use this shampoo because the indigo colour is so strong it affects my very pale hands, haha. Brilliant effects on my hair tho!

I have tried many purple shampoos but not having much luck. I would regularly go to the hairdressers to get a purple bath but on one occasion my hairdresser recommended this. Wow!! What a result. My mum thought I had had my hair professionally coloured after using it just once. It is brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

I dye my hair a lot and have used every purple shampoo going and this stuff works aswell as the reviews say. Its that good at removing the yellow I’ve used it as a standalone toner after bleaching. Also doesn’t dry my hair out like a lot of the other brands. I use a couple of times a week for 4ish minutes a time and it keeps the yellow at bay just fine. Worth the money!

THE BEST purple shampoo you will ever buy! No brassy times, I’ve got the shade of blonde I’ve always wanted. It doesn’t smell great but I wash mine with normal shampoo first, do this and then condition. It leaves my hair lovely and soft. I even take it to my hairdresser to use after I have my highlights done!

Love this. My hair was yellowy and my hairdresser recommended this to me. My hair is now a lovely clean blonde. I leave it on for no longer than a minute seems to work best. Not overly keen on the smell but I’ll settle for it as its great in every other way. Huge bottle too.

This is extremely strong stuff. Have been left with very purple hair on a few occasions so if you have very bleached hair like myself, be careful not to leave this on for long. I mix it with my usual shampoo to tone it down.

Always knew about this shampoo and it was at such a good price i had to purchase. Ive used many purple shampoos before most of which leave your hair feeling like wire… but this shampoo is amazing my hair feels silky smooth and that was just blasting it with the hair dryer quickly before bed usually my hair is quite dry and hard to brush but my god this was like i ahd just came out of the hair dressers after a professional blowdry… i kinda forgot about the whole brightness of my hair i was that amazed by the feel of my hair. I will never use another shampoo again and i will be reccomending it to others.

Really like Fanola no yellow shampoo on my naturally grey hair. It gave a lovely shine to it and removed any dullness as well. Highly recommended. Also, the 1litre bottle was good value and arrived with seal intact and perfect condition. Will be repurchasing.

This shampoo is what my hairdresser uses. It’s amazing. She recommends using once a week only and leaving it on for as long as you see fit ( everyone’s hairs different start small and work your way up with the timings until you find the right finish for you) it really does get rid of the yellow tones. However I read the reviews before buying and saw people saying it does their hands purple. I thought they just be holding their hair for ages for it to do that but after literally just rubbing it in my hands were also stained so maybe voices would be a good idea. However throughout the rest off the shower when washing my body I gave my hands a good scrub and by the time I came out it was pretty much back to normal. For the results it delivers it’s definitely something I can live with.

Good value for money considering the size of the bottle. I have blond balayage hair so I use this on my ends every now and then. I haven’t used it for more than 5 mins max but my hairdresser said I could use it for 15 and the purple would wash out the next day. Haven’t tried that yet though…

This stuff is the best for getting brassy tones out of bleached hair ! Leaves hair nicely toned and doesn’t leave a lot of residue like other similar products I have used . Dies stain hands and skin a bit- nothing drastic but I usually use this product with the shower head over the bath !

Product stinks, stains nails and palms of hands but it most definitely works on taking yellow tinge from hair so cant complain!

I have dyed white hair that always wants to go a bit blond after a couple of washes. This shampoo actually gets rid of the yellow in my hair, I am nearly five weeks post colour and still have white hair, I am really impressed. Just be careful, a little goes a long way and if you leave it on too long you will end up with a purple tinge to your hair.

Best violet shampoo I’ve used for blond hair, great price for size too and works a trea
Bought to brighten up coloured hair – get rids of ‘brassiness’ extremely well, best violet shampoo I’ve ever used and rated by my salon too. Really good price for quality product and size. Stains cuticles for a day or so but few hand washes gets rid of it. I usually use it once or twice a week and leave on for up to 3 mins at a time. The longer you leave it the ashier hair will become so wouldn’t recommend longer than 3 mins. Flapped with first use as hands were blue immediately after but comes off with few washes and doesn’t stain scalp.

Oh gosh, if you have bleached hair then buy this shampoo! The smell is ok but that doesn’t matter. I wash my hair every three to five days and it is still as ashy and non-brassy as it was when I left the salon. I have pourous, thick and dry hair and often bleach makes it somewhat like a hay bale but this product, along with their conditioner, is a life changer.

A must for anyone with blonde hair. Takes out all the brassy yellow tones. Leaves a lovely silvery white blonde. Top tip. Buy some latex gloves to apply this or you WILL have purple hands and nails for a good week ! Leave on for 1 minute and use once a week. Any longer, your hair will get pink/purple streaks.

I am so glad that I found this product!! I have balayage hair and wanted something to keep it looking fresh in between having it redone every 6 months. I noticed an amazing difference after one use- the yellow tone hadn’t completely gone, but it looked so much lighter. I am 4 weeks down the line from using this 1/2 times a week and my ends now have a gorgeous silver tone to them.
Product does stain your hands a bit, but quickly fixed by using a bit of exfoliator.
Also, top tip to reduce the chance of getting purple hair. Wash your hair first with shampoo, use this and leave on for 2-3 mins, then wash with shampoo again and condition as normal! Yet to have any purple tinge.

Great smell and good value for money. Only need to use a small amount. The only down side is it stains the skin and it was delivered late and had leaked slightly. Other than this – my hair looks great. It looks more platinum with a silver tinge. Would advise not to leave it on for too long for it to work.
From orange to white blonde
Has a very funky smell, no too keen. But it does the job. Put on, leave for a few minutes and it really gets rid of yellow or orange tones to leave whitr blonde hair. Careful for staining, its terrible, lather quickly and wash your hands or your hands and fingers will be stained purple for about 5 days.

I applied this to my hair mixed with a little deep conditioner to dilute it. My hair was yellow with a tinge of green. I have some pink bits in my hair as well. I left this on my hair for 4 minutes. It toned out the yellow and turned the green bits a grey tone and the pink bits are a bit lighter. I am impressed and will keep using it. Bottle is massive for the price.

I was recommended this by my hairdresser and it is the best toning shampoo I have tried and gives a lovely tone to the blonde highlights. It is very strong and does stain the hands so it’s a good idea to use it at the beginning of the shower so the hands get washed a lot throughout the shower and the staining is removed. It is stronger than many actual toners I’ve used. Highly recommend for blond or highlighted hair.
MOST AMAZING PURPLE SHAMPOO
Most amazing purple shampoo, will never use any other again. I was sceptical about how well this would work as most purple shampoos don’t make much difference but this has made my brassy light blonde hair go silver grey. The smell isn’t the best but it’s bearable for what it does. 11/10.
This stuff is amazing. My friend recommended it to me and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a go.
My hair is naturally a dark blonde but I get it highlighted so it’s more of a white, really light blonde. My hairdresser uses a toner which leaves it a silvery blonde colour which I love, but it’s expensive and only lasts for a couple of washes. As my roots come through, my hair can start to look a bit brassy and have a few streaks of caramel yellow. That’s why I wanted to try the shampoo, and wow I wasn’t disappointed!
It’s very thick and strong smelling, and sticks to your hands a little but it does wash off easily afterwards. I applied it just like a normal shampoo and left it on for around five minutes before rinsing off thoroughly. I then applied my normal conditioner (which pretty much cleaned the Fanola shampoo off my hands).
I expected my hair to feel dry and have that ‘unrinsed’ feeling but after drying it, it felt smooth and sleek and looked great! And the colour was the same silvery blonde that it goes when I pay my hairdresser for the expensive toner every time! I’m so happy with it and have recommended it to all my blonde friends! X

This has been recommended to me by the hair dresser. I can’t get enough of this product the actual results are amazing afterwards. I will be buying it again. The only down point is that it will stain your hands and fingers temporarley.

This is honestly the best purple shampoo I’ve ever used! I bought my first bottle 5 months ago and only now am I needing to replace it. I wash my hair once a week with it as it can be quite drying. My hair is bleached an ashy/silver blonde but this shampoo works better than the toner in the hair salon!! I sometimes leave it on for a little longer so that my hair has a hint of purple to it. I’ve never had so many compliments about the colour of my hair!

I had my roots done at a salon which turned out yellow – the rest of my hair was silver. The toner at the salon didn’t help so I came home and reached for my regular wash out purple dye to cover the roots – I’ve done this a million times before but this time the roots didn’t take the colour, only the ends did. I figured my roots were not light enough so I bleached them again – same thing again! I grabbed my fanola – it’s been with me since 2017 (same bottle!), applied to my roots (dry hair), left it on for 25mins with the last 5mins dragging it into the lengths and bam! Silver / white roots with purple hues on the length. This product eats yellow for breakfast and is so much better than wash out dyes as it gives hair different tinges and dimensions. Loving i

I absolutely LOVE the shampoo its brilliant for those grey tones and getting rid of brassy tones. The only thing I was really sad about is that the lid had been unscrewed and almost half of the bottle was in the clear bag inside the box. Instead of 1000ml I have 500ml. Tried a few silver shampoos and have had mixed results, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest, and at a far better price.

Silver blonde
I have washed my dyd blonde hair a few times now with this product and it has turned a lovely silver blond with a hint of lilac, i wash it inbetween times with normal shampoo so to keep the colour consistant and not overpowered with lilac … love i

I left it on my hair for about 7 minutes, washed it off and when i dried it it was a perfect silver like I’d just walked out of the hairdressers. Very impressed! It does stain your hands, but it comes off much easier than shampoos I’ve used before. Great produc
Very DARK Purple!
I love this purple shampoo but it’s way to dark as it makes my hair go grey in some parts. To lighten it up I just mix abit of white shampoo with a blob so it goes light purple and just use it normally. PERFECT.
Gets rid of yellow colour in your hair.
Really good! I used a home hair bleach to do my roots, and came out a horrible bright yellow colour, I tried other shampoos but didn’t really do anything, but this one is amazing, in just 5 mins it got rid of all the yellow and made it a nice pale blonde. Only warning with this product is try and avoid putting it on any white blonde or very pale blonde areas as will turn it a lilac colour, and it does stain your finger nails. For any yellow tones I definitely recommend this shampoo.

This shampoo is incredible. See my pic collage of my hair journey taken over 1 week. Ive wanted to be Platinum blonde for Ages. I first dyed my hair which was strawberry blonde (pic1) with loreal platinum home hair dye, it came out orange (pic 2) then i got the fanola no yellow, and applied several times over a few days. About 4 times in total. My tips came out lilac which i cut off. But it drastically toned my hair down and took away the yellow and the orange bits. Then i dyed my hair again with another light blonde shade (pic3) then the last step today was one more fanola no yellow application and VOILA i have what i want – platinum blond hair. The tips are a lilllll lilac again but hey i actually like it. Hair is soft and fluffy. Highly recommend this shampoo. Bravo!!
Very impressed. My blonde hair was looking very dull & was changing colour to a horrible blonde. On first wash with this I’m really impressed. I washed twice & left on for couple of minutes on second wash. My hair has gone so much brighter & has a shine. It’s taken away most of the horrible yellow that happens in between salon visits. I am going to use twice a week for a couple of weeks then drop to only once to maintain. I have used many purple shampoos but this is the best & I totally recommend for anyone with blonde/highlighted hair. Delivery was super fast. The only negative is because the bottle is so large (which is fantastic) you do not get a pump. Being disabled I find it difficult to hold & tip the shampoo out at the same time. Dyes skin nails dark blue.. Theres no way you can sit outsideof the bath/shower when its on. Stained the rubber bath mat blue .
Blonde yellow did go grey/white but what a price to pay . I coudnt sit in bath for 5 minuits with it on let alone any longer.
Rinse bath rubber mats etc with a weak bleach solution to stop it staining your bath and mats/same for hands/nails
Works on natural hair too
I have naturally blonde hair that needs a little boost every now and again. I had wondered if purple shampoo would help as it’s mostly aimed at coloured hair but it does. I find my hair holds the purple quite a bit so it’s best to follow the purple shampoo with an ordinary shampoo. I had read the reviews about it staining your skin but didn’t worry too much – it stained my ears, so do just be conscious – it’s a lot stronger than the shop bought purple shampoos

Quite thick shampoo but does the job, after taking advice from my hairdresser she revommended using this 2-3 times a week orbyou could end up with a purple tinge. Nit the greatest smell though.
Good product but don’t use too much!
My hairdresser recommended me buying this, it worked wonders but I definitely used it to much at the start! Avoid using at every wash, otherwise your hair may get a purple tint.
