Love this brand and their products. However, i find i don’t like the smell of this shampoo. To me it smells a bit like dog shampoo? May just be me but i still use it and its really good getting rid of brassiness

Smells of Parma violets. Pleasant. It’s more watery than I expected so you can’t do anything else in the shower with it on. Also stained all my finger nails. Could’ve done with a warning. Seems to do job. Taken a lot of yellow out my hair.

I’ve been looking for a good purple shampoo for so long now. I saw this recommended on a YouTube video and from the first use I have seen a HUGE difference. I have dark brunette hair with blonde balayage and this has brought all. y blonde back to life and made it really bright again. No yellow tones at all. This stuff is amazing!

Love it , but you can’t leave it on for long period and be aware everything will go purple including your hands , but works and doesn’t leave the hair dry like most of the others shampoos , will buy it agai

Fabulous product, you can see the difference after one wash… excuse the greasy hair in the first picture. I suppose going that colour is what you get for doing a box dye job. Was on my hair for 5 minutes max. Only downfall is it stains everything it touches, your hands, the bath, a white shower curtain and tiles but aye it worked!

Worked really well. Due to lock down I’ve not been getting to the hairdresser and my highlights were getting very yellow looking. I applied the shampoo and waited the full 5 minutes. The yellow was gone but make sure you have a good condition afterwards. Watch out for purple hands!! Wear gloves if you can.

but do not over do it. It stains. I Usually rinse it and wash again my hair with normal shampoo to get rid of the purple. And then I wash my face with makeup remover. And my hands. And the shower.
But except for this its great and my hear looks amazing!

The best purple shampoo for blondes
I’ve been using this shampoo for about 6 months, I use it weekly. Don’t leave it on your hair for too long as you’ll go purple. It’s really strong. The first time I used it, my hands were purple for a day. The smell isn’t great, it smells of very strong flowers which I really don’t like. Luckily it doesn’t make my hair smell like that. This is the best shampoo for my blonde hair that I’ve ever used and the bottle is huge.

Amazing… I’ve always had icy/ashy blonde hair (bleached) however with the lockdown, I decided to try a semi permanent darker hair colour to help disguise my darker roots. I hated it and have been washing it out, but the semi colour obviously made the tones of my hair warm and brassy. I finally got it to a blonde colour after a few washes, but just needed to get the yellow out and this did the job! I’m hoping one more use and my hair will be back to my bright icy/ashy blonde, but just with the first wash it made HUGE difference. My hair still feels soft and smooth too.

The shampoo really works and remove the grassiness and yellow of the hair. Although it recommends to leave in for 5 minutes before rinsing, I left it for only one minute and it was enough. Really good!
Does exactly what it says
This product is great! I have used a few no yellow products before but this is the only one that really knocks the yellow tinge out of hair. Very thick, easy to lather, can stain your hands though, that’s the only small fault but you don’t mind because it works great.

I mean the shampoo its self looks amazing and I can’t wait to use. However came smashed up and only have about 2/3rds of the actual product. Stunk my kitchen out. It’s pretty strong but not too bad. Don’t know how to contact seller to complain about delivery. If you could reach out to me that would be great x

My hair was a range of colours, yellow, white and gold undertones thanks to at home bleaching. This stuff has done wonders evening the colour tones in my hair. Dont leave on really pale yellow hair long as it goes grey. Highly reccomend and I cant say that about many purple shampoos. My advice
Pale yellow – leave on 2 mins
Gold undertones – 5 minutes

Great shampoo to help clean out them warm tones. It does dry your hair out though ( all toners and purple shampoo do) so make sure you get a moisturising treatment or conditioner to use afterwards. I use this shampoo twice a month and it works great. The shampoo does stain your hands so if you can use gloves.
Really effective
I hadn’t used silver shampoo for a while and I had been recommended this brand by a couple of people. My hair is a natural dark blonde colour, in which I’ve had bleached in the past, but now just get highlights when I visit the hairdresses. This shampoo has really lightened my hair and brought it back to life. The brassy tones I had have gone and it’s really lifted the colour in general. Strongly recommend!
Only use on yellow tones not platinum
I have a love hate relationship with this shampoo, its brought the blonde out in my hair so much more but it seems to keep dying the underneath of my hair purple, I think maybe this is because the blonde underneath was a very white blonde compared to the top which was very yellow but overall it’s a very good shampoo for yellow tones, would avoid using on platinum blonde hai
Best purple shampoo
Was very sceptical about this shampoo as my hair is more in the yellowish warm side and many purple shampoos haven’t worked for me. However I was pleasantly surprised with the results as after just one was it was visibly more cool toned! The only thing I would say is that if you leave it in your skin for a long time it can stain but this can be easily resolved with either gloves or to wash it off skin straight away. Overall a great product and price would recommend.

The cap on mine was broken, same as I have seen in other reviews. Product has a pleasant enough smell but not my favourite. Product works well but wasn’t the results I was expecting, if you follow the brand on Instagram you’ll know what I mean! Massive bottle for the price especially against my favourite purple shampoo Milkshake which is a tiny bottle for 25.

So I am from nz and always use Fudge. Over here is it very expensive to buy. This product is by far the best I have used in the UK when it comes to purple shampoo! I read some reviews and some people complained that it stained there hair… well of course it will if you leave it in too long. I left it for 5min. My roots look amazing. Recommend this product for anyone trying to find a descent purple shampoo!

Fabulous product and actually works. I wash my hair and leave it in for about an hour and my hair colour totally changes. Can be used daily but I prefer to use now and again for a total colour change

Very effective shampoo for blonde hair. Smells nice, big bottle and amazing effects. The only thing that could be better is application could be improved bottle is not the lightest and you have to squeeze it with wet hands. It dries hair so it’s important to remember about moisturising but that’s normal for purple shampoos.

The reason why I’m giving 4 not 5 stars is because this shampoo is sooooo strong it made my hair blueish/purplish when I used it by itself. . I soon accepted the colour and actually thought it suited me but i strongly recommend diluting it with regular shampoo! Other than that it’s lovely. You get a lot for a low price compared to some companies that sell it for way too much and it’s not even as strong

Cannot praise this product enough. It was recommended to me by a hairdresser I follow on Instagram.
My hair before has been every colour under the sun but a few months ago I bleached it blonde and put a grey hair dye on it. My hair went pretty patchy but most of it took the grey well. I tried to tone/maintain the grey/silver look with other silver shampoos but nothing did much to my hair. I used Fanola on it for the first application for about half an hour and what a difference it made! It is only recommended for 1-5minutes to avoid getting purple tones but I quite like them. It didn’t lift the darker tones in my hair (neither did the grey dye) but certainly made them ashier.
I have tried many store silver shampoos from different brands, as well as a salon brand but this is by far the best one I’ve used. The value for money in the bottle size is fantastic too.
This can stain your skin for a little bit but with a wet flannel it’s easy enough to get off and the colour pay off in your hair is by far worth it!

Honestly never known a toning shampoo like it! Had so many bad hair experiences in the past.
I originally had browny red hair as in the first image. We then bleached my hair twice leaving it an orange brassy gold in the second image.
I then used fanola and left it on my hair for just ten minutes and the final image is the result. I am so happy with it and was so worried about bleaching my hair.
Honestly a life saver! If you need to get rid of the yellow orange in your hair then use this!
The best purple shampoo I have tried!
I have used every single purple shampoo out there matrix milkshake etc and this is the best I have tried! It does leave your hands looking purple if you want wash it off straight away but it gets rid off all them nasty brassy tones and it is very cheap for a litre bottle! I am very impressed.
So very happy with the results of this shampoo. I bleached my hair myself at home and didn’t want to go platinum, so after bleaching it was quite yellow/very brassy. Previously bought a much cheaper drugstore purple shampoo and virtually did nothing. I was hoping for a miracle at this point. I found this after watching a YouTube video and so happy I purchased. Pictures speak for themselves, it has taken away most of the brassy undertones (this is bearing in mind I haven’t even used a toner on my hair! Amazing). I actually used it twice as it states ‘repeat if necessary’ and left it on for about 4 mins the first time and about 10 mins the second. I don’t think it did any damage to my hair either. I was surprised I didn’t get any purple streaks in my hair, and it hasn’t stained anything – just easily washed off all surfaces, but I do see how it could stain your hands but again came off fairly easily. Also pleased it didn’t explode or leak in the post like others have. The price I think is actually very decent considering you get 1000ml! Will definitely be purchasing again, anyone buying I’m sure will not regret it. Very happy. 🙂

Very strong toner shampoo
If you have very yellow hair, it will most definitely work for you. Any bleached highlights will turn lilac/grey colour, so be careful. I am now mixing it with ordinary shampoo, otherwise, it’s a bit too strong for my blonde highlights.
Smells incredible
First of all, this works. But if you have very porous hair it will leave a lilac tint. It won’t lift bright yellow/ginger roots that haven’t lifted enough from bleaching, but it will tone it down. Also, it smells AMAZING. Would definitely recommend.

Great shampoo! Bought after reading the good reviews and I’m not disappointed. The item arrived in perfect condition, it seems a lot have had issues with leaking but it was packaged well and the lid was taped down. Best purple shampoo I’ve used and toned down yellow and slightly brassy tones in my bleached hair. Would recommend.
Better than dye!
Recently bleached my hair trying to get it silver but been struggling. I used bleach two days in a row to get it as white as possible, used live metallic silver and was quite happy with the silver it went but still wasn’t right.
Few people recommended this fanola shampoo so I tried it and yeah it’s really good stuff, left it on for 5 mins in the shower and as you can see from the pictures it did a hell of a good job, very happy
Yellow to lovely ashy blonde
This shampoo is amazing! My hair had very obvious yellowing at the tips and a bit that was bordering in orange at the crown (most likely left over from a peach toner from a while ago). I wet my hair, lathered in the Fanola shampoo and left it for 5ish minutes then rinsed as normal and all my hair is an ashy blonde without a hint of yellow. I can’t get over how well it worked!
It stained my hands purple but this disappeared completely in 2 washes.
I only used a tiny amount and it lathered amazingly, so I think this shampoo will be brilliant value for money.

Ultimate blonde shampoo
I’ve finally found my perfect blonde shampoo with Fanola. I’ve tried so many purple shampoos in the past including kerastase,, Osmo, L’Oral professional and this is now my favourite of all time! It gives an even, very cool blonde without any patchy purple streaks. It lathers very well from a small amount used and more importantly doesn’t dry out my hair as some have in the past. The smell is unusual though not unpleasant. I wash my hair daily and have used this every other day to keep my just coloured look. I purchased the 1000ml and this will last me for months so it’s incredibly good value.

I bought this bottle somewhere in November 2018, if I remember correctly. I have been using it regularly (twice a week) and now, February 2021, 2 years and 3 months later it’s about to finish. It is a great product that lasts a lot!!! It has helped maintain my colour and I also like the scent. The shampoo is purple so using gloves is the appropriate thing.

I’m extremely pleased with this shampoo. I used a box bleach to change my hair from dark brown to blonde but it was quite yellow and had some darker streaks throughout. I used this shampoo twice and my hair already looks so much better! It’s got rid of the uneven yellow patches and lightened it all to a more natural blonde. I couldn’t reccomend more, it’s amazing!

Great purple shampoo that actually works, can be used as a regular shampoo just on its own, I add this to my normal shampoo but I wouldn’t use everyday as purple shampoo is quite drying for the hair if used too much. Huge bottle. So will last a long time. I will definitely be buying more when I run out alot wihh the rest of the fanola range

Oh boy!! where do I start, ok first put rubber gloves on it stained my hands, it did wash off ok but still Put Gloves On!! It says leave on for 5 mins i think mine was on a couple of mins and it was enough. This stuff is the business!! Plus its that big it will last you forever. I am well impressed with this one. Its the best one I have eva tried.
Really good shampoo to take away brassiness
Brilliant anti yellow/brassiness shampoo that you don’t need to leave on long at all- if you do your hair will likely look lilac! And it does stain your hands so gloves are probably wise. But massive bottle for the money, if you don’t want it to be as quick acting mix a smaller amount with another shampoo.

I have used Fanola for over a year. The bottle lasts for ages. My hair is always thick and shiny after using and the colour is fantastic. No yellow and definitely no grey, just a great refreshed blonde colour. Thoroughly recommend.

My friend bought this for double the price in the hairdressers so after having a go with hers I was delighted when I found it on here at the price I paid. Fab product, best purple shampoo I’ve found. I’m getting much longer out of my colour which means less trips to the hairdresser. Everyone asks me if I’ve had my hair done after I use it. Doesn’t dry my hair at all.
Makes your hands / nails a little purple for a day and don’t love the smell hit overall, highly recommend. Just don’t leave it in too long or you’ll have purple hair! Maybe I should invest in gloves too

I was recommended this by my hairdresser and it’s amazing.
After testing timings on my hair, using gloves, I applied the product on dry hair for 20 mins. Shampooed and conditioned like normal.
P.s: lots of people complained about product arriving spilled, thankfully mine arrived in perfect condition!

Love what the product does for my blonde hair! Have to be carefule to scrub fingers and under nails as the colour has a tendency to slightly stain these areas. Nothing a little scrub with some soap and a nail brush won’t fix though. Really love how my hair feels after the shower, makes it easier to brush once out of the shower compared to other shampoos when used with my normal conditioner.

Fantastic product. Really does remove all the brassy tones from my hair leaving it with a class silver finish. The picture I’ve uploaded is bleached hair afterb2 washes with fanola. No other toner has been used. Cannot recommend this shampoo enough.

Best Toner Eve
This toner is literally my life!! The bottle is so big and I use it once a week, twice max, i’ve got quite long hair so use a lot and this has lasted me monthsss!! Way more than shampoo or conditioner ever do, made my hair like an ashy blonde with white tones. Depends how long you leave it in for and how regularly you use it! Brands like John Frieda and Touch of Silver have always been really bad for my hair, so I cannot recommend this enough!

By far the best I’ve tried, gives my hair an ashy almost white tone. Use sparingly and no more than 1-2 times per week as it does deposit on your scalp if you use it too frequently. It’s very pigmented so rinse thoroughly as it can stain your skin or leave a blue tint to the hair. Great value for money too and long lasting

Really great product, don’t use every day as your hair will go purple coz it’s so much better than normal stuff. Smell take a while to get used to but not a bad smell

Wow this really works, almost too well! Does make hair very dry and will stain – your hands, scalp and anything you touch. Use gloves, no yellow hair, has turned it almost white/ash. Not particularly pleasant smell, but you can’t have everything. Would recommend, less is more and don’t leave on too long to start with. Good luck.

Hey so many compliments for my hair colour since using this! Wouldn’t usually spend this much on shampoo but the bottle is huge and lasts forever! Much better than what you get in high street shops. I do use rubber gloves though as it’s so good that your hands even go purple lol

I have used many brightening shampoos over the years, but this has to be the best. Easy to use with with fantastic results. Only one draw back, be careful when using as it does tend to dye your hands, but I suppose you can wear disposable gloves. Certainly recommend.

Its just the best shampoo and I have loads of compliments about my hair colour. I use it 3 times a week so the large 1000 ml bottle lasts ages. I will recommend that you wear disposable gloves when you first rub it into your hair as it can turn hands purple, that’s not an issue for me as the results are fabulous.

I have highlighted hair that has a warm undertone – combine that with the fact that my hairdresser was able to lift my colour from almost black with purple and red box dyes underneath I needed a purple shampoo to combat the brassy undertones. I tried a few different ones but they are very drying and with intensely lifted hair it was important for me to not further damage it.
Tried this shampoo and paired it with the Fanola Repairing Conditioner and it’s been brilliant.
I bought a pack of pumps because the bottle is so large and heavy it’s a bit difficult to use without a pump. They’re cheap enough to pick up on Amazon.
The smell is lovely, quite grapey, and the violate colour is intense. It doesnt stain the scalp and whilst it will turn hands purple a bit of soap always gets this off unless you have patches of very dry skin or cuts. But it doesnt stain like other purple shampoos I’ve tried.
It foams nicely and cleans the hair well without causing scalp dryness or irritation and it really works. It stops all brassiness in blonde hair, makes my hair a beautiful beige / platinum shade and its gorgeous. If you use it too much or don’t rinse it properly it can give it a violet hue but a normal wash will get rid of this.
The best thing about this shampoo is the great results and no compromise on condition. Using the Fanola conditioner will help but you can tell once you’ve rinsed the shampoo out your hair doesnt feel like straw and my hairdresser has been so impressed by me using this shampoo she is no recommending it to her clients.
I’m really happy I’ve found it because I love my blonde hair but need to keep it from going yellow and in good condition and this is perfect for it.

I rarely feel the need to write a review but this product works so well! Great value for money and it has really changed the tone of my hair and a lot of people commented on how good my hair looked. It saved me the expense of going to the hairdresser. I would advise wearing gloves when using as it can leave your hands looking like a character from willy wonka oh and don’t leave it on too long as it really is quite pote
Fab produc
Leaves a purple tint on your hands, especially around the nails but this fades quickly. Doesn’t smell the best but if you use the reconstructing conditioner afterwards the smell isn’t an issue. Makes hair grey/silver and does the job
Good tone
Helps with toning hair, leave on while in shower. Will strip yellow off and leave a greyish tone. If it does go a bit blue/purple, that will wash out after few washes. Use gloves as will stain hands
Ashy blonde hai
It’s a big bottle. My first one of these lasted me over 6 months. I usually use this for two washes and the next time I’ll wash my hair with normal shampoo to stop the hair getting too much of a purple tinge. It creates a really nicely balanced ash colour if you find the right balance between this and normal shampoo washes
Great for yellow tones
Love this shampoo, works really well with toning the yellow down. I don’t tend to leave it on too long I just wash my hair as normal with it and then use it 2-3 times a week this avoid it going blue/purple as my hair is quite pouress
Goodbye yellow hai
This shampoo is a god send to my highlights. It removes any yellow tinge from first use and continues to brighten up over prolonged usage.
