I find these fire lighters to be really reliable, I only use one each time I light the my fire and although I may need to hold a match to the lighter for a few moments (until it’s properly caught) once it’s going, it’s going – they’ve never failed to get my fire off to a good start!

We had these in a rented cottage for the wood burner and they were so good I got some for home. We now use them instead of a load of newspaper to get the kindling alight in our open coal fire. One fire lighter does the job much better than an entire newspaper. Fire going much more quickly. Happy days.

These are great for BBQs, they get briquettes and lumpwood ignited quickly and efficiently, without that lingering chemical flavour from firelighters. Great product and reliably and responsibly sourced too.

These are great firelighters – no chemical smell like the white cubes- arrived on time, well packaged and do what they say on the box – easy to learn light to get wood stove going.
I love these firefighters. So much less smoke during the lighting process. No taint either like you get from white fuel starters. I add a couple of Flamers. I don’t think one is enough to light a chimney starter of briquettes. But lump wood is easier to get lit and might get away with one. The last box I bought was larger than expected. So another bonus.
I keep mine sheltered from rain but still outside. And have no problem lighting them. I’ve bought them 3 times now and will continue to purchase them

Lack the consistent sizing of Flamers in smaller pack – some as thin as my pinkie! Nevertheless, they do the job and the large pack represents good value for money.

Big bulk box, flamers smaller than in original boxes but this doesn’t matter the effect is the same and offers much better value for money. With some good quality kindling these make lighting a woodburner a very easy task.
Throw out your old newspapers, this is the business for lighting your fire. One little cylinder of wax coated shaving lights up every time. Just put a few pieces of kindling around one cylinder, and a small log over the top and light up. Works every time.
Brilliant product and a fantastic price for 50 of them. One flamer and a small pile of kindling and you’re away. Going to try and few on a charcoal BBQ over the coming weeks too (1 under a chimmney starter will probably work very well).

Love this product. Work well and there’s no smell unlike conventional fire lighters. Just wish they didn’t always crumble so in the box but this a minor complaint.

I’ve now tried these absolutely excellent. I only needed I firelighter to light my kindling and my logs soon caught fire. There is no mess and no smell I would certainly recommend this product it is environmentally friendly, economic and effective.
hese do a great job. I use one per load of charcoal in our bbq and they light it within 10 mins. They light easily and don’t smoke much. They must burn hot as they light lump wood charcoal quickly and easily.
after some looking around we have found the best lighter for us. Buy a pack and try them, you won’t regret it.
Work well for our wood burning stove, and don’t seem to let off any chemical smells you can get with some fire starters. Recommended by our stove manufacturers and we have continued to buy them as they really seem to work well.

There were a lot of broken bits from the individual coils. But do the job. Used the broken bits to light one day f the fires.

This are comparable in price (or possibly a bit cheaper) than supermarket bought fire lighters but they are a lot more pleasant to use (no smell or oily feel to them like ordinary fire lighters). I was a bit sceptical at first that one would be enough to light my wood burning stove as they are quite small but they burn strongly and easily start my fire. Will definitely purchase again.
Not quite as effective as the white firelighters (you often need to use two), but more aesthetically pleasing, as they are camouflaged into the logs etc..
The best firelighters I have ever found. Ecological, don’t smell ghastly, don’t make your hands smell of anything but beeswax. And they light the fire efficiently!
I’m surprised at how well these work! You only need 2 or 3 flames and a handful of kindling in the grate to get a really good blaze going. Really pleased with them.
GREAT PRODUCT.I used paper with kindling to light my log burner but use to get a lot of smoke in the room. Now i just use two flamers and kindling and the smoke is a thing of the past.
These are excellent, when used to start the right kind of wood. What I mean by that is, you cannot use logs had just come straight into the house and have a slightly “outside” dampness, these will be difficult to light in any circumstances. I have a stock conditioning in the porch before bringing to the fire, these firelighters are fantastic and can be kept close as they do not stink.
Excellent for lighting the log burner. One of these and half a dozen pieces of kindling and we are off.
hese are the best firelighters I have ever used. They don’t smell, no residual deposit on hands when using and really do get the fire going using only one or two.
Lay 3 or 4 sticks on your ash bed, put just one of these on top and lay several layers of kindling ” Jenga” style above. Light the fire lighter and close the stove door, leaving a 10mm gap. In a few minutes you will be enjoying an impressive blaze! Excellent product! Excellent delivery!

Ive used these lots of times and consider them the best , i just use two to light fire and they never fail , you probably could get away with using one if you have a small stove.
These firefighters are the best eco lighters I have come across. Used one to get my inset stove going this evening and within minutes my kindling and logs were on the go. Will definitely be buying more.

Came quickley when ordered I put one under the kindling and light the other a d out next to it , fires a blaze within seconds. I think it a very good product and much better than the chemical alternative
