Bought as part of a strategy to stop my wood burner stove from smoking when being lit (has a short flue and backdraught). Along with other measures taken, did a fantastic job – no smoke, beautiful fire! Highly recommended.
Very easy to use, you only need one, can’t believe how effective they are, light my fire pit every time. Use one of these, bit of kindling then logs – brilliant. No horrid smell light traditional firelighters.
Fantastic fire lighters. Says you only need 1/2 per fire but I’ve found I’ve needed at least 3/4. They burn brilliantly though.

These are amazing! Pop them into the bottom of your kindling, light them, and woosh, a great fire started. Waterproof so the bit of rain we had didn’t dampen their ability. I would always buy these for starting campfires.

Pack afew at the bottom cover in briquettes and then add more buried in the top. Probs used 6/8 to light 5kgs of charcoal

These are brilliant. One of these little things in our large multifuel burner achieves a great blaze in no time. Far better than ordinary firelighters.
These things burn for around 7-8 minutes which is plenty long enough to light kindling or even small pieces of wood which is what we used it for.
Easy to light and give off a fair bit of heat themselves.

Good product for price and burns well. I have noticed that although it says 200 and is lower price, they’re are thinner than the other brand available on amazon. Makes no difference really though as they burn well and start the fire no problem.
These are great for getting the fire going and because they are natural there’s no smell. They light quick and burn long enough to get the fire lit.

Really good fire lighters, easy to light and burn for longer then a standard type. Shame they are expensive for saying they just shavings. I do burn 2 at a time. Should last the winter.

These are a bit like a combustible mini shredded wheat to look at. They light easily and burn well, long enough to fire up a barby. Would buy again.

We BBQ a lot all year round and these are the best firelighters we have tried. We use a starter chimney and lumpwood charcoal (not briquettes) and these work really well.

These are brilliant! I was not sold when I first heard about them, I normally used screwed up paper but these make life so much easier. Also, much easier to store than loads of paper as well.
