Bought these for connecting an iPhone charging lead to the car. Mercedes has the new usb connection so the larger usb ones don’t fit.
These fit easily into the socket with the lead connected to them. Works perfectly well so not much else to say really.

The only thing to be aware of is that they can create a bit more leverage on the socket as they effectively extend “the length of the plug” so you need to take care not to pull the cables sideways as this could damage the dongle or worse still the socket on the laptop

High quality adapters
These are superbly made high quality adapters, both in look and feel. My new car has only USB-C terminals for media connection and charging which is very annoying. I did not want to buy a new mini USB-C memory stick and then spend hours to copy my music albums onto it. This adapter was perfect to allow me to play all my music from the old memory stick in the new car. There price is for two, so there is another adapter for spare.

Works well, but if you have a macbook 15′ you won’t be able to use 2 of those on the same side of the mac as these are too wide.

Essential USB c to USB Adapte
– Overview –
I have used these a few times week for the last 6 months. I bought these for my MacBook Air to connect any USBs to my Mac. This two pack adapter set is worth the money. The official apple one is far more expensive and has a cable which might not be useful for some.
– Appearance –
I bought mine in Space Grey to match my MacBook, the adapters have two metal lines of each side to improve the overall grip making it easier to detach from your favourite accessory when needed.
– Use –
Being a student and an enthusiast of technology I have alot of cables. I have a small bag to keep them in however with cables mostly being usb when your on a USB C things can get a little harder. The two adapters you could fit into a pocket or leave connected to a cable. I have used these for my printer, external microphone and more. The adapters are easy to pull out when you are done, due to their size I tend to leave these connected to cables I use alot. This makes setting up far easier.
– Conclusion –
My overall conclusion is they are amazing gadgets, they are lightweight and durable though I don’t bash mine around. The small size means they are easy to have on hand and do not add excess length onto an existing cable, that could be a pro and con. Finally being space grey it means they ‘blend’ in more with my MacBook’s colour scheme unlike the white Apple official one.

This pack of 2 USB C to USB OTG Adapters seem to do the job perfectly. Good neat fit, good performance, not bulky. I bought them for my Dell XPS laptop and am delighted that I have done so. Registering for the Syntech warranty (on their website) was easy, and appears to offer the benefit of having the guarantee upgraded from 1-month to lifetime. The adapters arrived in a neat little box (which even has a ‘thank you’ message on the lid – see photo), and are securely nestled (fitting perfectly) in the moulded holder. If the quality of the adapters matches the care that has been taken with their packaging, I will know that I made the right choice. And the signs are very good so far . . .

bought these for my mac and they worked perfectly. was really excited due to there being two for a great value for money. was a bit disappointed due to how close the USBCs are together on my mac which didn’t allow me to use two at the same time which is the only downside. other then that they are great and have worked very well.

Service is good, product is good. Unfortunately I can’t plugin two of them at the same time. I needed to use printer and mouse. Apple made it so there is no room to plug in two USB adapters at the same time in MacBook Pro. I am really surprised that Apple did a silly change like this. Also I don’t see the need for changing USB A to C. I have been using Apple’s computers since 1982. This is the first time I go effected by their changes. But everything alright within product. Works well. Will buy again..

These have been made extremely well, with a metal casing (3 different colours if thats your thing), small in size, but easy to insert and remove with the grips on either side.
Speed much improved compared to the USB Hub (4x USB-C to 1x USB-C) that I was currently using.
Excellent value for money…. will definitely use these guys again if I need more adapters either for myself or a suggestion to friends.

Great product that I was optimistic to buy. 8 needed something like this for my headset that I use for school. Once I plugged it in, everything worked great. I thought it would only be for charging or data transfer. I am really happy that I decided to purchase this and it comes with two of them.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Only issue with it for me is that the USB-C side is a wee bit shallow, and so I have to remove my phone case if I need to use it with my phone.

Looks quality and charges...
I bought this to plug my phone into the usb c connection on a Sprinter van to use Apple play. In a nutshell it looks and feels quality, charges but the van doesn’t recognise that the phone is plugged in. It didn’t cost a lot but at some point I’ll probably buy another to get the feature I was after in the first place. The rating of 1 star for “sheerness” ? What the fudge is sheerness in relation to an adapter? No idea so one star!

Arrived on time. Allowed external hard drive and USB sticks to be connected to a tablet via the USB-C power port. Data transfer was quick enough to stream video. Recommended.

It has an all metal body and the connecters are rock solid with a nice snug fit to my Surface Go’s type-C port as well as the type-A port having no issues with cables wabbling about as well. You get two of these adapters in the pack so they are really handy if you have a couple of devices which you need to hook up type-A devices to.

Brilliant solutio
I bought a new laptop with USB C so of course I couldn’t use my scanner with USB A so I went looking for a solution and bought this one (and another – I wanted to have a backup!). It worked brilliantly and they are so neat.

Well impressed with the service I got from Syntech and the high quality of the product. I use it with my mobile and my laptop (gives me an extra USB port if required). The photograph shows it coupled to a 128GB Flash Drive which I use with my Huawei P20 Pro mobile.

You can't fit into 2 ports next to eachothe
Nothing wrong with the performance of these over all, loved the compact size. Unfortunately I can’t use them next to eachother on my macbook pro. Apple’s fault really! They should space them out to allow for the width of a USB during the transition. So just a watch out if you’re looking to buy them and have a macbook. I’ve just ordered a hub instead but they also have adaptors with short cables, which would gives a bit more space.
