Was worried having bought other steam cleaners, but this one just works
I purchased another steam floor cleaner from a competitor whose name begins with V as well last year and it was a huge disappointment and nothing but problematic, with multiple calls to the helpline and claims on the warranty.

This one was fully assembled and in use within 10 minutes and just works. The kitchen floor was cleaned within 25 minutes of opening the box.

The floor was a little wet, but my Emop fixed that within a minute.

It doesn’t go fully into the internal corners, but another little mop especially for that fixed that within a further minute.

Very happy – thank you Vileda.

The best steam mop I’ve bough
Having tried a few different steam mops over the years including the shark flip one, thought I would try the Vileda as it was on a special offer. Absolutely love it, easy to build, very quick to heat up, light to push around and a joy to use. I’ve steamed everywhere. We have mainly hard floors but many rugs and it refreshed the rugs beautifully. Having dogs with muddy paws I need something I can get out quickly and it be ready to go. The Vileda fits the brief perfectly. I would recommend buying some extra pads as once you get going you won’t be able to stop. I don’t usually write reviews, but this little beauty deserves all the praise.

A good little steam mop! Heats up quick, cleans well, not too bulky so good to store in a small place. Gets in all the corners. All round a good purchase!

    Lightweight and effortless
So easy to use, fill it up with the little jug provided, switch it on and off you go, the carpet attachment is easy too. You can have it high or low steam setting, Very lightweight, I love it.

    Great and sturdy
Use only water and do not use detergent inside the machine. I read the instruction and the instruction was read to me by my husband.
My tiles are clean and I find with the steam cleaner I am not having to use detergent as much as I used to do. It is great.

Does the job very well. I have been very pleased with the product - better than I expected.
This steam mop is light weight and very easy to use. The swivel head s really good and can get into tight awkward places like around toilet pedestals. It is easy to fill and produces a lot of steam from one fill. It has a good long power cord. It performs better than I expected.

    love this steame
Lovely little steamer easy to use and fix the pads on , only takes a couple of mins to heat up and the two cups of water in it goes really far. easy to store away as its pretty slim line. the only down side I can find so far with the steamer is cord length I have to keep unplugging it as it is to short to even do just one side of my down stairs which is a bit of a inconvenience .

I’ve only had this mop about a week but I am kicking myself for not buying it sooner as I’ve been looking at it for a while. Previously I cleaned my floor every couple of days and came to the realisation that my floors still didn’t seem as clean so thought I’d finally cave and buy this. So far I have not regretted it. I have been using it daily as we are an active household with a cat and dog who gets muddy every day during this miserable weather and it is still coming up black! I have tried it on my carpets but stupidly lost the black attachment already but it is still possible without the carpet glider. I’ll be refreshing my carpets every few days until the pads show less dirt.
For perfect floor cleaning I spray some floor cleaner on the floor before I stream to pre sanitise. For the carpets I steam once, spray carpet freshener and change the pad and go over again which leaves the house smelling lovely.
I’ve found that the mop doesn’t leave any marks on laminate or tiles as I don’t leave the mop facing down on the floor when it is hot.

So far so good and I’m hoping that it will last.

Well, well, what a nice surprise on a rainy Sunday afternoon!!
Within 5 minutes of this steam mop arriving, I’d assembled it and was cleaning my travertine kitchen floor. Very easy to assemble, two pushes and two clicks and it’s done. My kitchen floor had been mopped two days before and was supposedly clean, but the pad showed otherwise. The handle is long and I’ve noticed that some users didn’t like this, but since it’s pushed out in front of you, it’s fine and it twists and moves around so you can get into corners and along edges. The pad is easy to attach and remove, I’m just abiut to put it into the washer now. Never expected to be washing my kitchen floor on a Sunday afternoon, but I was keen to try it out and I’m very pleased, easy to use and is very effective.

    Useful tips
I live in a very hard water area, if you put a 10% ish white vinegar to the water for the tank , the steamer keeps clear , and works wonderfully, I also pre dampen the cloth triangles

Wish I had bought one of these sooner!
Fantastic! So glad I bought one. We have a large tiled floor, and this cleans it perfectly, and so easily and quickly. You do need to do a quick sweep/hoover first or you end up with a few lines of dirt/fluff – though this can be wiped up afterwards quite easily. I use it on quite a low setting and it cleans superbly. Haven’t been brave enough to use it on our wood floor yet but I’m sure on a low setting it’ll be fine. So easy to use, so quick to start up. Would definately recommend it.
The only point to note is the handle is pretty tall, so you’ll need to make sure you have a cupboard tall enough to store it.

    Deeply satisfying
This is my first steam mop and I wish I’d bought one sooner. I have both hard wood and tiled floors and I have tried the steam mop on both. Firstly, turns out they were filthy (I’ve been using a normal mop) and secondly it took me a fraction of the time I’d usually spend mopping. I’m super impressed you can wash and reuse the cloth attachment, and also I have a doggo so I’m pleased I can clean well without exposing him to chemicals. Cannot fault this steam mop, it’s a pleasure to use

Really Pleased With This Steam Mop
I have had this steam mop for a couple of months now. I find it easy to use and it does a good job of cleaning the floor. What I really like is how quick the floor dries. It’s dry within minutes. Yes I would definitely recommend this product. Wish I would have bought it years ago!

I was a bit dubious whether this would actually make cleaning a large kitchen and utility area easier. We have horses and dogs and therefore much much mud and grime . I am so glad I bought it! Makes the dreaded floor cleaning chore almost a pleasure. Easy to use, lightweight, heats fast . Great value for money.

What a great little machine, I suffer with arthritis and this is a perfect weight for me to use, I looked at reviews and was pleased with the weight of it, it is quick to heat, I use it on vinyl, I find mid range on heat is perfect for my needs, very pleased with the results.

Hallelujah to a decent steam mop!
Ah finally!! A steam mop that does what I want it to do!! I’ve had a couple of cheaper steam mops, and I finally had enough when my most recent one kept cutting out the steam every 30 seconds to “recharge”.

The Vileda is clearly a cut above the rest. It feels sturdy, doesn’t creak at every move and pushes out constant steam. I love it! Ok so the handle isn’t adjustable and IS very long, but at 5 ft 3 it doesn’t cause too much of an issue for me. The cord length could also be longer – but to be honest, I’m just glad I’ve found my mop (housewife comment of the year!). All the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.

Definitely recommend spending the money to get this, you won’t be disappointed.

    Easy to use
This mop is easy to use, and it is now the mop of choice. Previous steam cleaners were too much of a faff to get out and set up. This is very easy and is quite light. My wife uses it most and in her words “it’s lovely”, but could do with a longer cord. Good value for money.

    Cleans well!
With 2 muddy Labradors, this has been great. Easy & quick to use on my terracotta tiles- muddy paw prints clean up in no time, including getting into difficult corners.
The pads go into the washing machine so all is very easy.

    Fantastic steame
I managed to buy it was it was half price. You switch it on, fill it with water and within 30 seconds, it’s ready for use. My floors have never been cleaner, with minimal effect. Easy to store away, and so simple to use for a notive, like myself. Highly recommended this product. My only regret, I should have got it years ago, rather than literally clean the floors on my hand abd knees

    Fresh & Clea
I was a bit dubious having had multiple steam mops in past. However, this has built in water tank so no breaking or leaky tanks! You have little container to fill the tank included along with two mop cloths. They velcro onto the base. This handled doggy print floors easily. The only reason I marked it down was because you have to have the cloth on when using the carpet glider. If you don’t, the velcro catches on carpet. Also, you can’t take off handle once assembled so quite tall. Still, good overall performance. Add some essential oil to water to give great fresh smell. I used lemon. Enjoy!

    Replacement Vileda mop
This was a replacement for one which stopped working after 2.5 years. This mop does a great job and takes around 1 minute to heat up. No water left on the floor as others I’ve had previously have left a lot of water on the floor but this one doesn’t. It’s easy to use and the mop head pad comes off easily for cleaning. Really like this mop and hope this one lasts longer than 2.5 years. Good value at 49.99 but wouldn’t pay over 80 which is normal price now.

my first steam mop - and I love it.
This is my first steam mop – and I love it. I did my homework and checked a lot of review sites before I bought. This scored well and I would say it is even better than I expected. Some folk say it leaves floors a little too wet. Well, I can only say my one does not. Just a little damp on the surface which evaporates really fast -in much less than a minute, taking about the same time or less as any old-fashioned wet floor mop, but leaving a much cleaner floor. Even my well worn grubby wood floors have come up a treat, with no surface damage. Thoroughly recommend this steam mop.

    A mop worth buying
The Vileda steam mop is very imple to use , it makes short work of washing floors, and they much dry quicker too! Just wished that i’d bought one sooner. The only downside for me is, I could just do with a slightly longer lead.

Ok so here goes . I bought this some time ago and used it on my textured tiled kitchen floor , I wasn’t impressed , it seemed rough on the tiles and I wondered if it would be scratching them ! The mop head wasn’t particularly dirty when I took it off either . I have three dogs so know the floors filthy most of the time when Iv not bucket and mopped it over and over !! Anyway I thought I’d sell it on and whilst looking up the product details realised I’d been a PILOCK , no other word for it . There’s a hard plastic ” slider” that I thought went on over the mop head to be used all the time. Hmmmmm this is a slider head for when you wish to freshen up carpets .. doh . Whilst doing tiled floors you just have the mop head on and hey presto the filth lifts right up of the textured tiles . IM IMPRESSED needless to say I’m not selling the steam mop on now . The cord length is a little short I feel but if your lucky “like me ” there’s usually a socket somewhere handy so it’s not a problem .

Sturdy, well made. Well pleased after a month or so use.
Seems sturdy and well built. Controls very clear. Bought primarily for kitchen and bathroom ceramic tile floors. I was concerned initially because the tiles looked a lot wetter after I gone over them, but it dries quickly enough so I am happy to use it in my usual way. As it happens I have a similar velcro pad left from an earlier machine. I am hanging on to that as a spare to ‘dry’ the floor if I need it dry in superquick time.

    Fantastic steam mop
Have just received this today and tried it straight away, it really does thoroughly clean floors to looking new. Was so busy using forgot to take photos however very impressed. Assembled easily and it’s very lightweight so easy on the arms. Had realised my floors were not as clean as they could be after using this l find out just how unclean the floor had been. Heats up very quickly and the mop captures corners really well due to its triangular shape.

    Great steam mop
Unlike previous steam mops I’ve had in the past, this one has a steam regulator so you can choose how much stream is produced.
I have Amtico Flooring which Amtico does not recommend using a steam mop to clean. They told me that the high pressure steam could effect the glue used to stick the tiles down, but having the option of low stream it has not effected the glue. This mop cleans the floor with ease. Only issue I have is that the power cord is very short; about half the length compared to the power cord on a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

We have had a houseful of builders for weeks (although it seems more like eternity), who amongst other things have laid laminate floor in every room on the ground floor. We also have a ginormous Newfypoo puppy, who often returns from walks soggy and covered with mud, twigs and various other detritus. I had previously thought that using a steam cleaner on laminate flooring was a no no, but the chap who fitted ours advised us to get one for use on the laminate, so after much research we plumped for this one. We also got some deionised water as our tap water is loaded with chalk. I have only had a few goes at steam floor cleaning and certainly it does a good job as the microfiber cloth finishes up filthy dirty. However, either because I am a novice at steam cleaning, or for some other reason: it does leave some slight marks on the laminate when dry. I am told that adding white vinegar to the water prevents that…. I will report back when I have tried that, or detergent made for steam mops. Anyway, it does a good job of laminate floors, just make sure that you only get them slightly damp otherwise it will cause damage.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI only mopped the floor a week ago 😳
Last week I mopped my small kitchen and bathroom lino floor (an area of about 10 m) a week ago with floor cleaner and boiling hot water straight from the kettle, but look at the state of the used pad compared to the unused one after using this stream mop for the first time!

In terms of ease of assembly and use it was super easy, and I only needed to check the manual to see how much water to put in it.

During use it provided constant steam on the highest setting. When using it on carpet it was super easy to use with the carpet glider attachment. However when using it on the lino, I found it unusually hard to push it forward with the handle held at my normal Hoover’s handle height (I’m 5’11”), and I found that had to lower the handle by 6-12″ to get it to glide forward smoothly on that surface. If you had a large area of floor to do, this need to stoop all the time could give you back ache, so I wouldn’t recommend it of you are a tall person.

I’ve only used it once so I can vouch for its longevity, but apart from that I’d recommend it.

I never leave reviews, but this mop has changed my life!
Firstly, it is SO easy to use and not bulky at all! After a week of using it, I can’t imagine my life without it. Having a dog means dog hair gets everywhere, and sometimes my vacuum can’t get all of it. This steam mop is simply amazing for getting that last bit of dust, grime, and hair out of your floors. I used to own a Shark steam mop, but ended up never using it because it was so bulky. On the contrary, this one is perfect whilst not feeling flimsy!

I bought this to replace my Vax mop which banged flashed and shorted. The Vileda has only just arrived, I have immediately assembled it (easy), and have steamed all my downstairs floors. It is extremely easy to use, very effective and dries quickly. Just use the steam output that is best suited for type of floor. If it’s used on max then it will leave more water residue. I used it on ceramic tiles and Karndean at just under the middle of the control. Very good results, particularly on the mid grey kitchen floor grouting. I can use my Vax pads on it too. Great cord length and good manoeuvrability. Hopefully it will last a while.

So, my Vileda Steam Mop arrived today, very easy to put together and believe me it’s not rocket science. I had a Shark steam flip steam thingy one before and the Vileda knocks the Shark out of the ocean. The Vileda is easy to use, heats up so quickly, glides along my tiled floor. Value for money is exceptional and does exactly what it says. Honestly don’t take my word for it and don’t read the negative feedback. You won’t be disappointed!

Bought to replace a steam mop I had been given that sadly no longer worked. I think adding zoflora or similar to its water tank sent it on its way. I like that I can get into corners easier with this one and that I can reduce the steam pressure for my wooden floors. Oh, and I now use a trigger spray with zoflora then run the steam cleaner over the floors!

Bought this due to the reviews and my previous steamer was not up to the job! Had to constantly pump when moving and hardly any steam. I didn’t realise how useless it was until I bought this one. Just attempted to the first full clear of the floor and had to stop after 30 mins. Nothing to do with the performance but ran out of clean pads. This mop steamer is amazing and the reviews are spot on. Only managed to do the tiled kitchen and the hard floor livingroom. The dirt removed off was extremely embarrassing but have attached a photo of one pad. I thought the previous mop steamer, different brand, was useless but I didn’t think how useless. Great to manoeuvre and takes about 15 seconds to heat up. Has a dial to control how much steam according to the flooring. The only problem is draining the water from the tank.

    His steam mop
Uses twice and so far very good. Cord length is great. Swivel head is useful and stick on pad means you can get right along edges. Handle very long and does not fold down so cleaner is “tall” which can make storage a bit tricky. Steam is continuous. Mop is lightweight. As far as I can see water reservoir is not detachable so whole mop has to be lifted to empty. However am very happy with purchase and does a very good job.

Overall I’m pleased with the steam mop. Its quite sturdy and works very well. It really revived my rugs.
The only thing I would change is I would like to see how much water is left on the tank.

It’s easy to use and it works
Nice clear instructions and 2 mop heads, plus fitting for “gliding” on carpets. Certainly worked on my kitchen and utility room floors. I went over them three times, rinsing the pad out each time, before it came back with relatively little dirt on it. Now it works as a quick once over on those floors and keeps them sparkling! I’ve also added floral disinfectant to the water which leaves a fresh perfume in its wake. Will try with lavender ironing water to see how that does. But generally a handy device to use. The long handle means one is distanced and protected from the steam and I find it easy to manoeuvre in corners etc. And the pads come up clean after quick hand wash in the sink, or in washing machine to come up immaculate again. Could do with longer cord but I have a long hall/kitchen/utility room so have to clean in two sections, unplugging and plugging in at another socket. But so much easier than squeegee type mop, it heats up literally in seconds and floors dry really quickly.

    Amazing
I am one of those people who like to complicate their lives. I hate mops. I always had to wash my floors on my knees as that was the only way it worked for me. No more. This steam mop is brilliant. With messy kids and messy cats kitchen floor was always sticky and required a real workout. Steam mop is a real game changer. It’s quick, it’s easy and the floor is spotless. My only regret is not buying it years ago.

    Easy to use.
Once it has heated up you can use it straight away. You don’t need to push or pull hard and can see the dirt on the mop head. The only down side is that you cannot ‘top ‘ up the water, you need to let it use up the water then use the measure to fill it up.

    Easy to use Steam mop
We are very pleased with this steam mop which is easily filled with tap water or distilled water (our choice) without the use of additional detergent liquids. Once switched on it produces a continuous steam output (the rate of flow is adjustable) without the need for “triggering”, and cleans the floor very efficiently. On completion the residual water is easily emptied from this simple appliance that works extremely well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWish I'd bought this soone
I bought this to use in the kitchen. We have a tiled floor. The kitchen is our most used room plus we have 2 dogs! I hate mop and buckets. Storing them and using them is a pain. So decided on this steam mop.
I read reviews saying the cord was too short, but I honestly think it’s more than enough. It was easy to assemble ( I did it without reading instructions, there’s only 3 parts).
I do use it on the high setting due to the floor type and the fact this area is used a lot. I noticed a difference after the first use. The mop head is great, the slight over hang really helps when you’re cleaning against any surface that’s 90 degree in angle. Im looking to reduce chemical use so this ticks that box too.
I do wash the mop head after each use at 60 degrees and so far it’s held up and back to bright white.

I really can’t give you a negative , apart from I wish I’d bought this sooner!!

Just used it the once thus far and I have to say I’m very impressed. I used it on my kitchen Lino floor which I thought was fairly clean, but I was wrong. The dirt that came off was astonishing even a stubborn mark that I’ve been trying to clean for a while.
Easy to set up and very easy to use. No effort required to use it. I’d definitely recommend this product.

A game changer when you have a baby
This has completely changed things for us. I struggled to mop before because our baby didn’t sleep but this is so quick and easy as well as completely necessary with a crawling baby and a cat.
It dries in 10mins tops and the mops wash perfectly and are very high quality. I love that we can steam our carpets too to kill off some bacteria. Combined with the MIC cordless vacuum cleaner we got on amazon we finally can keep on top of things.

Simple to use and very powerful
So simple to use, just fill it with water and pop a cloth on the ‘head’. Takes seconds to get going, really surprised how fast it is before it can be used. Easy to adjust the output, at full it really pumps out the steam. Love it.

    Quick to use
No bothering with having to fill a bucket with water and carry it around as well as a mop. Get the steam mop out, put a bit of water in it, switch it on and off you go. It makes it so much easier to do the floor upstairs in the bathroom too and because there isn’t water, just steam it dries really quickly. I really love it, wish I had bought one years ago and would really highly recommend it.

    Fantastic!!!
This is the best steam mop I’ve had & I’ve had a few .. its nice & light & the shape of the head makes it easy to get into corners. I’ve got a bad back & I can use this mop with one hand. The steam output is fantastic & there’s a great difference from light to heavy steam. I most definitely will not be using any other steam mop again.

    Great quality steam mop
Great steam mop. Easy to assemble. Glides easy over hard surfaces. Good amount of steam released. Dries quickly. I have a large tiled kitchen and large wood flooring in living room and wish the cord was a lot longer but that’s not a fault with the product, just have to unplug and move around where sockets are available. I recommend to anyone.

    Why pay more?
Bought this 4 mths ago to replace a Vax S3. Have found it excellent, easy to fill,no reservoirs to remove. Even on lowest setting I find it generates enough steam for the kitchen floor. Appears to myself a more efficient steamer than the Vax. The Vax was the second oe we’d owned of which the plastic removable pieces broke, the hard water filter split apart, handle split. The one good point of the Vax was length of power cord which I saved and fitted to the Vileda. If it had a trigger on/off switch women might prefer that to the current one which is fitted to rear of machine. Easy to use and for the price a good buy.

    A superb steam mop!
What can I say but having done my research online I was worried about something which would under perform or be poorly designed breaking within little time. This mop is a quality build item. It’s easy to use. Unlike other makes it doesn’t make your floor overly wet (drying after about 10 minutes). It heats up fast and steams away like a dream. The mop head swivels into corners nice and easily.

100% recommend getting this make/model as it’s enabled me to clean with ease my Kitchen floor tiles and vinyl bathroom flooring. 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Really good produc
Really good but chord length could be better. When changing rooms as in going from kitchen to bottom end of living room I have to change plug sockets. Not the end of the world I know. However, the floors come out really clean and I always add in some disinfectant with the water for extra fragrance. Pads are really easy to clean, just pull off and put in the wash at the end. Used this on a tiled kitchen/bathroom floors, and laminate. Does not leave any sticky residue behind, and leaves no streaks.

    Worth the money
This is a great steamer! The tank of water does my entire house, so it’s empty at the end which means there’s no issues trying to empty the tank again. The cord is a great length and it reaches temperature really quickly. My only gripe is that the white cloth on the bottom is forever stained brown. Even when it’s been washed in bleach tablets, or washed with whitener. This doesn’t affect its purpose however.
    * I believe those who say it’s scratched their floor, possibly kept the black triangle thing on the bottom which is only to be used on carpet!!

    Best thing I ever bough
I have tried many ways to clean my kitchen floor, steamers, Valcro mops, hands and knees job, really I have tried many. But this Vileda steam mop is so impressive, steam gets very hot and blasts though the cleaning cloth attached. The triangle shape base enables you to get into the corners. Heats up in seconds and cleans my floor in minutes. My floor tiles have indentations in so had previously been tricky to get properly clean…not so with this mop. It has a lower setting for my wood floors too. Absolutely magnificent.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat design and very quick and effective at doing the job
I’m a steam cleaner veteran having had at least 10 of these in the last 8 years. I’ve gone through all the makes and brands, which seem to break on me. This one I’m very pleased with. The notable positives are the large mopheads which a large area quickly and the cleaning of the whole house was really speedy. The machine is lightweight and easy to carry up and down the stairs quickly. The water is ready for use within 10 to 15 seconds, which is remarkable as I’ve had ones that make you wait over five minutes. The handle is econometrically designed so that it’s really nice to use at an angle as you move the device around. The cord length is really generous as well. The mop head itself has a really good absorbency for mud on the floor with three dogs so I’m very pleased. The last test will be durability and how long it lasts before it breaks down as they infamously all do, despite great care and use of descalers regularly. The other thing I really like about it is it easy to stand – there are some smaller models that fall over all the time and this has led to cracking and leaking, so this one seems more sturdy and robust. Well done Vileda.

    Overall .... ok!
Arrived quickly in its own box so none of the usual Amazon paper overload, easy to assemble and straightforward to fill although a bigger water tank would be an advantage. The rocker on/off switch isnt the easiest to locate but it’s obviously not impossible and the mop head cleaning cloth is easy to attach! It heats up quickly and steam appears in about 15 seconds and cleans my laminate floor very efficiently on a low setting leaving it nearly dry with no streaks however I find on high heat on my tiled bathroom floors that it leaves a very poor, very wet, streaky finish, I’ve tried turning the heat down but that didn’t help and you really need the high heat to properly clean the shower and toilet area! I will keep trying to find a solution because overall I like the mop, it stores upright without falling over and doesn’t take up much room. Would I buy it again .. yes, it didn’t break the bank and works very well on my laminate floor!

Wasn’t sure about this mop at first, but really pleased that I bought it. I have tiles all through the house and have found it really easy to use, does a great job. I only use the low setting and find this sufficient. Only thing is you can’t see how much water is left in the tank, have to wait for it to cough and splitter. Could use a clear tank. But overall really pleased and would recommend.

    Great buy
Got this after my last steam mop started to trip the electrics, I like this one so much, the positives are
    1. It was delivered next day on a Sunday
    2. You can control the steam settings
    3. The head is flat so goes under radiator covers
    4. The head is compact so it goes round the toilet
    5. Easy to fill and works quickly
    6. A good price
    7. Pads supplied are good and big
    Bad points
    1. You can’t see the water levels
I would definitely recommend, the 2 pictures, the dirtier one is from my tiled floor, we have muddy dogs, the second is from my bathroom floor where only 2 days ago I was cleaning by hand ( and no dogs in that room )
The handle is long but that’s ok.

Buy it - don’t mug yourself...
This is a great steam mop. Great steam flow. Great cord length that you don’t need to keep plugging it in if different places around the house. It is so easy to us. The way the pads stick to the base is great, I had a Van steam mop that connected in just a few places and the Velcro wore away. The whole base of this mop is Velcro. It is genius. By all means keep looking at other steam mops but if you overlook this one you are mugging yourself!

Basic, easy to use steam cleane
Doesn’t do anything fancy but cleans the floors well. Heats quickly. Uses tap water. Very long cord (great, i don’t have to keep moving plugs!). it is very tall! Good value. Not had it long so don’t know yet how well it lasts but seems sturdy. It stands on its own when you let it go (my old one had to be propped up or it fell over) and that is handy. Happy with it and as long as it lasts at least a year i would buy another when needed.

    Great little cleane
I have a new puppy who is partial to weeing on the hard floors. After a bit I decided to get a steam cleaner for the floor to try to clear away the scents that might attract her to specific spots and I bought this one. It was easy to put together and I didn’t even need an induction course to know how to work it.

However, this was a reduced price “returned resale” and it is missing the jug that should have been in the package. I cannot find a way to contact Amazon to let them know the jug was missing, so I have no idea if anyone from Amazon will read this and send me a jug. Meanwhile, I will use a normal 1 liter water jug with 40 ml in it, and a pour the water in using a funnel.

If you are looking for an easy to use hard floor cleaner with a thermotat that means you can run it at low enough temperatures to clean laminate or lino, this is the one. Get a good supply of compatible pads too otherwise the dirt will smudge.

Job done in a puff of steam!
I wanted to give it a few weeks before I wrote a review. After doing quite a bit of research, I’m glad I bought the Vileda Steam Mop. It produces a good amount of steam, and dries very quickly. I have a combination of lino, stone floors, plus carpets. The pads are easy to put on and take off, and the carpet slider is the same. It’s lightweight which is what I needed, and the floors are done quickly. Horrifying to see how much dirt it picks up, thanks to my cat but easy to wash – not the cat, the pads!

My old steamer gave up the ghost after 10 years so i thought i would treat myself and originally bought one for double the price of the Vileda, i should have gone with my gut and just bought the Vileda straight away! Had to send the other one back (Shark Klik & Klip) as it nearly broke my wrist using it and the steam was not constant!
Now this one, the small, lightweight, handy little Vax is great, constant steam output, extremely easy to use, no faffing, just fill, plug and steam. If all you want is a steamer for your floors, then this one is great, after only a few minutes all my tiled floors were done and dry fairly quickly. You can use it daily if you want as it is like using a broom. Doesn’t take up much space either.
It doesnt have a hand held function, but does have a carpet refresh tool which i will be using this weekend on all the carpets in the house.
Great little steamer that does the job without any gimmicks

Easy to use, comes with attachment to use on carpets as well as on hard floors. Cord length is good, lightweight and simply glides over floors without leaving it soaking wet. Highly recommended for anyone who has pets or dirty footprints to clean up after. With hindsight I wish I had bought one with a hand held attachment as that would have been useful to have as well as the upright one.

So easy to use on tiles and hardwood floors with perfect results!
Excellent finish on both porcelain tiles and hardwood floors (lowest steam setting). This is so easy to use, heats up in seconds and leaves the floors ever so slightly damp. A quick rinse of the mop head material it’s ready to go again. My one complaint is the lead length – just another couple of feet and it would be perfect.
I use this from a wheelchair and love the ease at which it adjusts it’s angle to my low height and also it is very light weight. Thoroughly recommended.

love steaming the floors with i
I love using it – it is light, heats up in seconds, cleans the floors perfectly. It uses far less water than a bucket and a mop and dries up much faster too. I add essential oils, like someone suggested in their reviews, onto the cloth and get a lovely refreshed floors and air. The cloths are lasting well and are easy to wash with farm stuff. The cord is fine if you are staying in a one smallish room. I have no issues plugging it in to an extension lead and working away. Filling it with water is easy. It is a handy piece of equipment that I actually use often and always enjoy it, and the results! I was afraid it would be one of those electric junks like my robot hoover is, but no – it is a great help in keeping things tidy and fresh.

    Light and easy to use.
Used a Karcher hard floor cleaner before but over engineered and far too heavy, and frankly expensive! This Vileda is great. Heats quickly and light to manoevre. I bought non Vileda repkacement pads which are as good if not better than originals. 12 pads was cheaper than 2 Vileda ones!!. One issue raised by mNy users was cord being too short so i added another 3 metres cable and all is good. Have used all sorts of steamers over tby e years and value for money and performance for daily use thiz Vileda takes some beating.

I absolutely love this steam cleaner. It is powerful, starts to steam quickly and is very easy to use and store. I had a vax before this which broke after only ten months of not heavy use and I couldn’t find my guarantee so I bought this. Its much better than my vax was, the steam output is much better and it is easier to use and store. I would have liked an extra metre on the cord but it’s not a huge issue. It would be great if vileda produced a multi functioning mop that could also be used as a handheld like the vax.

I bought this to replace an H20X5 steam mop which finally failed after many years good use but thought I would go cheaper this time as I didn’t use all the attachments on it.
It arrived this morning, immediately out of the box for a trial and very pleased with its smooth gliding action and large cleaning cloth which covered the cleaning head generously. All very simple to use and does the job leaving the floor drier than my old mop.
Only disappointment is that there was only one cloth on the box when it says there should be 2, I have contacted the seller over this issue and will keep you posted!! Happy mopping everyone
Further to this review, the seller contacted me within an hour and the issue is being resolved. Great service from the seller.

Steam clean, with some negatives but not too problematic
I enjoy using this mop it gives me peace of mind as I have a little one. I still use my regular mop to clean and scrub with soap as this is literally steaming the surface. It does pick up dirt but not something that needs a bit of scrubbing. Ergonomically it could be better and my hands ache a little after using this but it doesn’t take long to use. I haven’t tested on carpet yet. Also, there is no gauge to see how much water is left and you have to rely on the chugging sounds it makes when empty and needing a refill! I like it.

    Brilliant kitchen floor tile cleane
This is so much easier to use than our previous, more well known, cleaner and seems to produce steam much more readily. It also gets more dirt up! The only slight downside is that the instructions are very precise about how much water to put in the tank. However, after the very first filling the amount of water left in the tank can not be known because the tank is not transparent. So, it is necessary to keep putting water in until you can just feel it by poking your finger into the filling hole.

I have mobility problems and used to use mop and bucket the bucket having a pedal on to wring mop. I was recommended to buy steam mop so glad I did or am I? I’m using it every day and cloths just go in washing machine. I have laminate floor in two rooms and thought they were clean until I used this I was so surprised at how dirty the cloth was I presume it was residue from what I was using in bucket to clean floor and they don’t get that dirty so I thought with just myself and hubby and no pets, although it’s steam by the time you’ve done one floor it’s practically dry before you move to next one

This is my second Vileda steam mop (I gave my first one away to my sister who needed a steam mop when she moved house). I’ve used the Shark steam cleaner but it left streaks on my tiled floors and it felt quite clumsy. The Vileda is nimble in the way it gets into corners and removes dirt easily without much effort. The mop heads go into the washing machine after use. I bought this second mop when there was a special offer which cost less than my first. A great deal!

For the price it does its job, however, there are few things worth mentioning:
    – not very premium feeling, and it shows its price;
    – the features on it are just: ON/OFF and MIN/MAX steam output; very rudimentary
    – on a 70 sq m surface, your hands will hurt, get sore and numb, as the handle is not ergonomic at all
    – it’s very light, and can be disassembled
    – it does a nice job cleaning tiles and laminated floors
    – if you put it on MAX steam, you floors will be wet, but not soggy; it’ll evaporate within minutes; I set it up between 60-75%, and it worked like a charm on the lamintaed floors, and set it to MAX on tiles; it will work just as fine on vinyl flooring as the temperature is not insane
    – on the downside, it being very light, it means on certain stains you need to apply a bit of pressure

    Makes mopping fun!
A great mop that does the job. Makes floor look so much cleaner which is important as the white tiles can look filthy if there’s even a bit of dirt. I like to spray a bit of bleach on the floor of the areas I mop cause I want to make sure it’s as clean as it looks. Be sure to wash the mop heads otherwise you will end up with smeared floor tiles – that’s usually a sign the cloth part needs washing! Super easy to assemble – new favorite gadget. Bring so much satisfaction seeing dirt removed effortlessly that I enjoy killing now (never thought I’d say that! Hah)

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery good produc
Well, I have been using this steam mop for a few days now, and I give it top marks. It does exactly as the product info says, and the results are excellent. Its design makes it simple to use, and it heats up quickly. Just as a foot-note for elderly people, steam has to condense, so, it may not dry immediately, so, bear this in mind especially when cleaning hard or tiled surfaces. Just use a little extra care so as to avoid slipping and injury. On the plus side, the water produced is minimal, and it will dry off quickly.

    Excelle
It’s my first mop and I am very impressed , maybe there are better ones out there but this one was on offer and it exceeded my expectations. Easy to assemble, easy to use, ready to use in super speed and my floors feel clean and look great! I was a little bit sceptical and I normally looooove to smell the nice fresh detergent after I washed my floors but it looks and feels amazing so it makes up for it. I strongly would recommend this produc
